Easy to binge, hard to get over!
(NO SPOILERS)Petrichor is a fresh take on girl's love (gl) from Thailand. It focuses on the mystery aspect and tackles a lot of social issues such as corruption in the police force, powertripping, and even misogyny in the workplace.
But the beautiful thing about it is how empowered the female characters come across. They power through and rise above the occasion, no matter the difficulties they face. It's so good to see strong female characters who fight for justice. Even the cinematography and attention to detail is unmatched. Never a dull moment in each episode. Also, the leads have insane chemistry! I can't see anyone else bringing life to these characters aside from Engfa and Charlotte. It's so refreshing to see a healthy WLW relationship without the homophobia from their family members.
Acting + visuals + storyline + overall message = 10/10! Kudos to the Petrichor Team!

you kinda don't expect it
This show came to me without any expectations but the first episode got me through the very last one. I think it's pretty rare to see shows with this much effort in production. Although the plot didn't necessarily focus on the crime aspects, it didn't bring the whole show down. Instead, it was focused on the main character and you can rarely go wrong with that. I sincerely enjoyed watching this, and I'm so glad to have found this! Although I put down -.5 star for the details in the plot, and another -.5 star for the acting. I believe every show has room for improvement. Still, it was enjoyable!Huge kudos to the team, thank you for making this!
And I'm definitely watching EngLot's other show/s.

We have to admit, Petrichor raised the bar extremely high for the industry and I'm glad that we have such a good show. And the Englot did such an amazing job i couldn’t be more proud

A Twist for the Win
This was one of the rare cases for me where a later twist not only worked but revived a drama.I had enjoyed it for the most part (particularly the leads' fire chemistry), but the cases and villains were too typical and, frankly, predictable. With constant and blatant police corruption that felt cartoonishly evil and the plot only going in circles, the relationship between Tul and Ran was just managing to get me through, things felt stagnant and frustrating.
And then, the twist happened. And everything turned around. Suddenly, the extent and weight of the coverup crashed down, and the past, emotions, and relationships had to be recontextualized and reevaluated. It was devastating and riveting.
I have to commend Engfa for being able to portray such a complex range of feelings on the part of her character, Tul. I felt her grief and admired her commitment to seeing things through, even when she just wanted to live in denial.
From being excited to disappointed to being invested more than ever before, Petrichor did what I thought to be impossible.
I'd recommend avoiding spoilers and going in with moderate expectations.

The acting, lighting, story AMAZING. By far the best GL series i have ever watched, actually i found that it was just the best series overall. I cant believe how many trolls are in these rating. O destaque da série foi a performance dos atores Nay Naran Vikairungroj e Na Naphat Vikairungroj, que deram vida ao jovem e adulto Tin. Eles roubaram todas as cenas em que apareceram. Eles trouxeram a complexidade, profundidade e autenticidade exigidas pelo personagem.

De la tension à n'en plus pouvoir
Tout est dans le synopsis, notre duo d'héroïnes poursuit un serial killer. Et au fur et à mesure qu'on avance dans l'histoire, on sent la tension monter à chaque épisode, que ce soit dans la traque du tueur, ou tout simplement dans la relation Charlotte/Engfa. Rajouter à cela un cast bien réussi, une thématique sur fond de corruption et une bande son qui colle parfaitement.Bref, tout ça c'est Petrichor, et ça déchire.

Bom drama, com ressalvas quanto a abordagem do tema principal.
Estava a procura de um drama girl love mais voltado para o suspense e me foi indicado esse. Vamos às considerações:Pontos positivos: No geral, é um drama bom, porque ele foi muito bem executado quanto a sua produção, desde fotografia, aspectos técnicos etc realmente sem falhas. Quanto a atuação não preciso nem dizer, excelentes! Do roteiro, a relação familiar foi muito bem desenvolvida, realmente você é pega de surpresa quando descobre o assassino por trás do caso principal, pelo qual a história giro em torno, pois já estava imersa numa irmandade familiar que ajuda nesse impacto. O casos são interessantes e a trama não fica chata, você se vê sempre interessado nela.
Mas há dois pontos específicos que não me agradaram: 1) a forma como abordaram a questão de mulheres prostituídas. Na verdade, se você não for alguém ligado as questões da luta das mulheres, isso realmente não vai fazer diferença pra você, mas se você já buscou entender sobre prostituição e mulheres prostituídas, seu olhar será mais crítico — e é eis onde me encontro. Na verdade o desenvolvimento não foi de todo ruim, o assassino ser ressentido por que sua mãe virou garota de programa é realmente fidedigno à realidade, mas o ponto que me incomodou foi a pouca clareza com o qual eles trataram o MOTIVO da mãe dele (que também é a mãe da protagonista) ter entrado para o mundo da prostituição. Teve apenas uma passagem, onde ela olha uma boleto e depois passa para essa vida e acabou. Foi isso. Todo o restante era focado no assassino proferindo injúrias contra todas as mulheres prostituídas!!!! Tipo? Achei a abordagem pouco responsável, pra dizer o mínimo!!! Eles tinham o queijo e a faca na mão pra falar sobre toda uma situação de vulnerabilidade que essas mulheres passam e vivem, mas escolheram não fazer nada. Esperava mais, principalmente por ser um gl. Ponto 2) a protagonista realmente ficou "confusa" quanto a cumprir seus deveres de policial quando descobriu que o assassino era seu próprio irmão?! E PIOR, ela namorando uma mulher que teve sua mãe vitimada pelo mesmo assassino, não sendo essa nem prostituta!!! Pensar?! Pensar no quê? Eu entendo ela viver um momento de luto, totalmente compreensível!!! Mas entrar numa confusão mental, numa DÚVIDA se ia conseguir prender ele? Eu se fosse essa namorada terminava na hora pra nunca mais.
O romance é bom, mas não senti química entre elas. Então foi apenas bom mesmo.
Enfim, estes pontos pesaram bastante na minha visão geral do drama. Mas o drama é bom, só não assista com muitas pretensões quanto a como eles tratam o assunto prostituição. O que é uma pena.

Questa serie aveva un certo potenziale dato dal lato crime-poliziesco della trama e una storia romantica tra due donne. Ma purtroppo non abbiamo avuto nulla di tutto ciò.
Episodio dopo episodio si aprivano buchi di trama, e i personaggi agivano senza coerenza. L´unica cosa che si salva è il trio di amici e la storia tra Jiew e May, ma purtroppo gli sceneggiatori hanno ben pensato di relegarla allo sfondo.
Poteva essere, ma non è stato.
