A mess but not in a good way
I really wanted to enjoy it… but no, it just doesn’t work for me.The characters Maevika and Ai frustrated me the most. Their relationship makes no sense: at the start, we’re told they’ve known each other since high school and that Ai has been attracted to Maevika since then, but after that… nothing. It’s never brought up again. So many ideas are introduced and then completely abandoned, serving no real purpose in the story.
And sorry, but the way Ai is written is problematic. She spends several episodes harassing, even sexually harassing, Maevika… and then, a few episodes later, we’re suddenly supposed to believe she sincerely loves her and that this situation is painful for her? It’s just not believable.
I hate when writers treat their audience like fools. There were so many better, smarter ways to handle this storyline.
The second couple was also completely sidelined: no depth, just a few random scenes here and there. It’s really frustrating because the actresses clearly gave their best, but the directing is an absolute mess.
Even the villains aren’t compelling. The two fathers traumatize their daughters just to win an auction… and then they get away with it, no consequences whatsoever? Not even a slap on the wrist!
And as for Maevika and Ai being “endgame,” I just can’t buy it. Their relationship makes no sense. I love toxic stories, but not when they’re written like this.
I really hope LMSY comes up with a much better series next time.

Fragrance of the First Flower Season 2

Something Different
Honestly, it’s so different from typical Thai GL dramas – mainly because we get a deep dive into the perspective of the other romantic lead, which is really refreshing! As for the story and the characters: wow. The show portrays such a complicated romantic situation. When one person refuses to open up or make an effort, it really shows that love alone isn’t enough. Patience, respect, and actual effort are needed – and I think that’s exactly what the series tries to convey.
Now, to be honest, I don’t think Yi Min and Ting Ting should’ve ended up together. But maybe I’m just too strict 😅. From season 1, Ting Ting’s been waiting for something clear, and Yi Min’s been struggling to give it to her. It took someone else entering the relationship for Yi Min to realize she might lose Ting Ting…
It’s well explained, though. Even if, personally, I felt that Yi Min had better chemistry with the girl who was in love with her than with her actual love interest – but that’s another conversation!
I really appreciated the topics the series tackled: first love, being closeted, same-sex parenting, co-parenting, and raising a child with autism. These are powerful subjects, and they were handled with care.
So yeah, I definitely recommend it!

Confused
So what can I say about this series really there are good and bad things already I loved so much the character of Kang Seo Joon who is really underestimated all along the series in both seasons. He has an amiable, kind personality, heart in his hand but his boyfriend wow Han Ji Woo has a horrible personality he's emotionally abused Kang Seo Joon all along he's too much of an oaf actually.
I find that the people who really save this series are Kang Seo Joon, his manager and assistant, that's all.
It's only at the end of the season that we get to know a bit of their backstory, and then there's the wobbly flashbacks and the people who live in the village gossiping.
I don't think there's much character development? and I also don't think there's much character depth, or it's been poorly done.
they added length to the episodes they should never have really taken up too much time
for me it's really kang Seo Joon's character that saves the show

Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko! 2nd Stage

Just Why ???
How can I express my opinion without being too harsh... I loved season 1, but for me, season 2 was really unnecessary.Fortunately, the characters of Hiroko and Ayaka remain endearing and funny, and the sixth episode saves the day a little. However, there are a lot of misunderstandings that, in my opinion, don't add much to the story. If the characters were teenagers, it might have been acceptable, but here they are adult women with real responsibilities... and some of their reactions seem hard to understand.
In short, if you liked season 1, I think you can skip season 2.

Very Sweet
Queendom is a real breath of fresh air! The cast is young, full of new faces, and the scenario stands out for its originality the soul swap is a first in the GL genre.I greatly enjoyed watching the series, even if some elements were a bit bothersome to me. For instance, I hated Episode 11: in my opinion, it completely broke the balance between Rey and Print. After that episode, their dynamic changed completely.
It felt like everything that happened to Print was minimized or quickly brushed aside, as if Rey's problems were given more importance.
I also really liked the second couple, Wanmai and Saifon: their relationship is more immature compared to Rey and Print's, despite them being older. However, their evolution remains well-written and enjoyable to watch.
I highly recommend this series: the characters are engaging, interesting, and the story is truly original.

Something is missing
The series had some good ideas, but I think they were poorly executed. I have no complaints about the acting, which was really good, and the chemistry between Kliao and Karan was there. However, something was missing, which is a shame. There are too many missing elements, and I feel you have to have read the book to grasp certain nuances. This annoys me, because it means that the writers haven't done their job properly.

A bad hallucination
Honestly, you can’t look me in the eyes and tell me this series was good. For me, it was pure psychological torture.
The positive points:
The budget, sets, costumes, and makeup — you can tell there was real investment in the production, and I really liked that.
The reincarnation of Chan and Jet as Da and Jintana — their love story was heartbreaking, and I’ll always be happy to see a little GL couple.
Ramphueng — such a memorable character; honestly, she’s the reason I managed to finish the series.
And lastly, episode 9, which in my opinion, was the only one that managed to raise the bar a bit.
The negative points:
Unfortunately, that’s where things fall apart…
The script — Domundi really needs to work on their writing. The romance between Khem and Peem just didn’t work for me at all.
The acting — I’m sorry, but I wasn’t convinced at all.
The dialogues — flat, awkward, and in serious need of rewriting.
The episode length — way too long for what was actually happening.
In short, I really wanted to love this series, especially since I’d been looking forward to it, but it was honestly very hard to watch.

What is going on ???
As is often the case with CH3 original productions, there are a lot of plotlines introduced, but very few are actually developed, and many of them end up serving no real purpose in terms of character progression. Honestly, the writing is poorly done. For me, the only development Alin and Jane get is endless crying and a relationship so unhealthy it feels like it could end in a psychiatric hospital. The series only starts to become interesting in episode 6, even though there are only 8 episodes in total, which I find completely crazy.
The whole plot involving Pie was useless and uninteresting. The characters of Alin and Jane are poorly written, but we still manage to like them thanks to the actresses’ strong performances. They are the main reason I managed to finish the series—their chemistry works really well.
The secondary characters deserved much more depth; as they are, they’re basically pointless. However, I loved seeing Kate—she was really funny.
The line between the characters and reality is way too thin at times, which makes it uncomfortable and strange.

Stellar Cast Delivers a Dark, Gripping Story
First off, hats off to the cast, especially the actresses. They literally gave their all, and their performances are truly remarkable. This series is undeniably entertaining, and waiting each week for the conclusion, even if it was predictable, was genuinely enjoyable. Beyond just entertainment, the show delves into a poignant theme: the devastating impact of a violent, abusive, and incestuous upbringing. It suggests that such an environment makes it difficult, if not impossible, to become a functional adult free from vice and manipulation.
Let's be honest, none of the four sisters are truly "good" people, but that's precisely what makes the narrative so fascinating. It's refreshing to see complex, flawed female characters on screen, and the series invites us to root for their "wickedness." As for the male characters... let's just say they're odd.
For those considering watching, be aware that the series tackles sensitive subjects. Potential trigger warnings include sexual assault (SA), revenge porn, and abuse.

Phi & Tam: A Wasted Romance
It's hard to give a definitive opinion on this series. It's neither truly bad nor genuinely captivating. The actors' performances are flawless, but the screenplay is lacking. The initial tension between Phi and Tam, though promising, is quickly overshadowed by a rushed coupling, pushing all suspense to the side. The exploration of the television industry is an interesting idea, but unfortunately, it remains underexploited and doesn't reach its full potential.
I also hoped for a GL romance between Kaoki and Nudee, but this avenue was regrettably not pursued. Frankly, if you're not a die-hard fan of Singto and Krist, it's unlikely you'll find much to enjoy in this series.
Only the wedding scene, absolutely magnificent, managed to save the whole thing for me. It's a bright spot in a series that ultimately leaves you wanting more.

A Disappointment Despite Good Ideas
I just finished Pit Babe, and frankly, watching it was quite a chore. The concept (alpha, enigma, child trafficking, charismatic villain) was promising, but the execution was confusing and messy. The acting was inconsistent, creating a jarring disparity. The product placements were often poorly done and totally broke the immersion.
But the worst part is Babe: easily one of the worst BL characters, selfish and rude. The dynamic with Charlie is toxic, with Charlie constantly letting himself be walked all over. It's frustrating and makes the relationship uncomfortable.
I absolutely do not recommend it.

A Surprising and Dynamic Season 2
I absolutely loved this season! It has a more mature vibe than the first, with great introductions of characters (Go Tak, Hu Min, Jun Tae as allies; Seong Je as the enemy). The series is a quick watch, even if a few questions remain unanswered (thanks to only 8 episodes!). I especially loved Sieun's evolution; I preferred him this season. The fight scenes are excellent, and the friendships between the characters are beautifully developed.
Season 2 is less melancholic and more focused on fun action than Season 1, which I really appreciated. The actor playing the villain is good, though his motive lacked clarity. Park Ji Hoon's performance is incredible, a true talent.
Highly recommend!

What can I say about this series?
I really enjoyed watching it. Each character has a well-defined personality. Jin and Haruki, although they seem very different, share a lot in common, not least their loneliness in the face of parents who don't understand them. The tension between the two characters is well-developed and captivating. I would have liked to see more of their adult lives, but the ending is satisfying. It really is a touching story. Was this review helpful to you?

A Romance in Prison
This series is very different from what we are used to seeing in the GL world, both in terms of where the story takes place and the show’s budget. The series is clearly well produced from a budgetary and cinematographic standpoint. It is visually appealing, well shot, and features many beautiful shots.
I especially loved the character of Claire and Mable’s performance. Despite all the rage within her, Claire is ultimately just someone who is willing to do anything to protect the people she loves. In my opinion, she is the best-written character in the series.
As for Bell, I’m not sure whether the issue lies in the writing, but I had the impression that she wasn’t entirely sincere with Claire. I think this mainly comes from the way their relationship was developed, which felt too rushed or poorly handled. If it had been done better, the audience would have been able to feel the sincerity of their relationship more clearly.
The secondary characters are not developed enough. For example, the Dao sisters—except for the eldest—are mostly there to torment Bell.
Kae is truly one of the best villains in a GL series. I can only appreciate the show because of her: this is real, unapologetic cruelty, and you almost enjoy hating her in every episode. She perfectly shows how a single event can completely change a person.
The chemistry between Bell and Claire is a big yes—they work extremely well together.
I initially thought the series would be a critique of prison conditions, but that is not the case at all. The series should not be viewed from that perspective.
Even though the series has many flaws and leaves several plot points unanswered, I truly had a great time with Claire and Bell.

Fun to watch
I'm not going to lie, I had fun watching this series, despite the many questionable and problematic behaviors from Pat towards Prem. But the series is interesting where it talks about the parental pressure Prem faces from her parents. She really did everything to satisfy them, but they never were. They did everything to make her suffer, and I really wish they had been made to pay for it because it was truly emotional torture. But there you have it, I recommend the series. The acting is solid and the plot is crazy and entertaining.
