✨ SPOILERS ✨
I loved this drama I wish China wasn't strict on certain things if they weren't they'd probably be more amazing scenes overall I absolutely Loved LOOVED it its top one on my historical dramas for BLs! I'd rewatch any day over and over. It's WORTH to watch! I loved the storyline although few could be fixed. I wished it was longer too I would've enjoyed it alot. I already love it and enjoy it but still I wish it was longer! Was this review helpful to you?
Loved it even more than the novel!
This came out so well and I became obsessed with something new after so long. I haven't loved a series this much in a while and have been rewatching it many times! The production was amazing and the actors definitely had a lot of chemistry in my opinion. I hope they make more amazing works like this that we can enjoy! Was this review helpful to you?

Phenomenal storytelling despite few episodes!
This series was so amazing! The way everything played out was perfect and it didn’t feel rushed nor slowed! I think this is such a good series and if you liked the untamed or word of honor, I think you’ll really like this as well! Even tho this only has 12 eps and the untamed & woh have over 30 episodes, Meet you at the blossom really managed to showcase all relationships and stories perfectly!! The acting might’ve not been 100% all the times but most of the actors are new to this so I think they all did great jobs!! Also for you who watched the untamed & woh and got disappointed by the lack of actual romantic scenes bc of the Chinese censorship but this show is produced by Chinese and Thai people so we got some nice kisses and stuff 👌🏼Was this review helpful to you?
Weekly VS One day
If you watched this as it was dropped weekly and liked it I HIGHLY suggest watching it as a binge.Something possessed me to watch this specific series over again now that it is finished, and so far this is the only one I have rewatched from originally a weekly to a binge and I was so glad I did. It felt like it was dragging and going no where when i watched it weekly and I was honestly confused in alot of areas. I believe almost all of the translations were updated, once it had been fully released for a while, to more accurate translations then literal ones which cleared up ALOT of my confusion. It also no longer felt like it was dragging on but very chohesive and didnt leave gaps as one ended and the next one started, it would have been better aired all at once as a binge watch honsestly. I also appreciate how well they dubbed the Thai character as I only noticed the difference the second time around.

A refreshing, uncensored historical BL that completely steals your heart!
Overall:Meet You at the Blossom is an absolute gem for historical BL fans. It feels so refreshing to finally get a costume drama that doesn't shy away from the actual romance and gives us a genuine adaptation of the source material. Even though it has its minor flaws, the story grabbed me from the very first episode and kept me hooked until the end. It’s a solid 10/10 for me because of how much I enjoyed the overall ride.Story:The plot is incredibly engaging, blending romance, identity misunderstandings, and political tension perfectly. The pacing felt just right for a 12-episode series, filled with unexpected twists and a captivating atmosphere. It delivers a great balance of angst, sweetness, and high stakes.Acting / Cast:To be completely honest, the casting/acting felt a bit average at times, and some performances could have been stronger or more polished. However, as the episodes progressed, the dynamic between the main leads grew on me. Their character traits remained consistent, and their interactions carried enough charm to overshadow the minor acting flaws.Music / OST:The soundtrack fits the historical setting beautifully. It successfully amplifies the emotional weight of the dramatic scenes and makes the romantic moments feel even more impactful.Rewatch Value:High! It’s short, fast-paced, and highly addictive. I can definitely see myself coming back to revisit my favorite episodes in the future. Was this review helpful to you?

Surprisingly good and intense!
When I started watching MYITB, I thought I'd get into some fluffy BL-Story. But it turned out so much more intense! The story is quite dark, all the protagonists will go through harsh sufferings, especially the naive and kind Xiaobao.
On the "romantic" side we have the carefree Xiaobao who falls in love with a beautiful girl who is, in fact, the ruthless Huaien. Xiaobao still follows his heart, but Huaien is cruel and cold. Yet, he'll finally fall for Xiaobao and even become possessive and jealous. They'll get seperated by their hardships and Xiaobao will come to hate the man he loved so dearly...
What I liked:
I really liked the fact that this could have been a traditional man/woman romance, it just was BL, it was so natural. It wasn't overdone, the chemistry was real. I feared that the fluffy part would be too much but not at all. I hope we'll get to see more of these.
I did like the darkness of the story. I didn't expect it and cried when I saw both of the ML so helpless at times.
The story was easy to follow, the sidestories didn't prevail so that we could focus on the main story, which is of essence in such a short drama.
What I didn't like:
It was quite short. That's ok, but in general I prefer longer stories.
Li Les (Zongzheng Huaien) acting wasn't always on point. Fortunately, he did well in the most important scenes.
The fighting-scenes were a big disappointment. They were badly choreographed and filmed.
All over, it's a solid 8, even a 8+.
I might even rewatch it.

Unique and Amazing !
The quality is more than I expected. Specially because this is a danmei. Plot is a masterpiece. Right amount of romance, family, drama, comedy and politics are included. Did not feel any cringe while watching the drama.Since lot of bl dramas lack a good plot, this is very unique feeling to me.
Costumes, fitting scenes are high quality. Have a beautiful OST.
Actors are doing an amazing job. ✨Side couple is also cute!
More recognition needed. ♥️

a step in the right direction
so I just got done watching this for the second time which is why I’m making a review. it’s RARE for me to finished a series (August 2024) and rewatch it so soon again (October 2024) that just doesn’t happen for me.did this production have its problems? yes. was there some plot holes? yes. did some of the casting (the prince ) make me wanna pull my hair out? also yes. but despite all of that this story pulled me in. it was interesting in ways I was not used to and it had me rooting for the MCs. and come on, their dimples are adorable. yes both, becaeunthey both have them.
I think they have great chemistry and I’d love to see them in other things. I’m really excited to see what other boundaries this production company will push while making some of these Chinese adaptations without the censorship

This almost made me homophobic
Good points: The script is fairly acceptable and the cast is ok.Bad points: The especial affects are bad; the romance is shit; everything is overdubbed; and It's UNFORTUNATELY uncensored. (ironically)
I have never felt so unconfortable watching a romance since the day I read fricking Collen Hoover and this drama somehow made me glad for censorship. I know this was a low budget production and somethings are just out of their control ( like special effects and such ), however, the main characters relationship just made me have chills down my spine. Not wanting to be the politically correct assh*le here, but consent is a thing you know? not only that, why do people romanticize toxic relationships so much? And this comes from a person who liked "A Thounsand Autumns" for gods sake!

The first Chinese BL without censoring, Danmei lovers rejoice!
Warnings: Non-con sex scene due to an aphrodisiac.Tags: Enemies to lovers dynamic, Crossdressing, Cold second lead
A fun and intriguing story, there is humor and action scenes. The costumes are pretty and the set is beautiful. I always find dramas that have cross dressing or confusion around gender identity to be interesting and it is done quite well here. It is very believable that the second ML could be mistaken for being a woman as he looks very pretty, slender and has soft facial features.
As the show progresses up to about episode 6, the romance scenes are all forced with few genuine interactions. The acting is also in need of improvement although it is still watchable.
I recently got into reading Danmei so these series finally being able to avoid the Chinese censorship is a huge win.

7. Hagan capítulo especial mostrando la boda 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
8. Link del danmei 🗿

8/10 Kiss You At The Blossom
8/10 Kiss You At The BlossomThis is the first BL Wu Xia series that I've ever watched. If I had to compare its fighting scenes to other Wu Xia series, then I'd say that this series is lacking in that department.
The fighting choreography was not good, especially with the main actor. You can see that he's not really good with martial arts just by looking at his movements. As for the visuals, it's really good. The plot is also very straight forward, it's not hard to follow. The acting was decent, from most actors anyway. Personally, I think that Leslie Li's acting was too stiff. I mean, there's a difference between a tsundere character and a wooden statue. Just because he had to play an icy cold person, doesn't mean he had to be expressionless while getting stabbed in the shoulder. Maybe he needs to take more acting classes.
