Undeniable chemistry
I enjoyed this, I was annoyed at time because of some side charactersPlawan was a bit annoying at first, but not that much to me.
For 8 eps, the flow of the plot was okay and the ending didn’t feel rushed. I didn’t dislike the cooking aspect of the show either
The best thing about this is definitely for me the chemistry between chef and Plawan. And seriously, one of the best kisses I have seen in a BL and we get quite a lot kiss and NC scenes. It was really fire. I loved their bickering and interactions. The breakup was needed and in the end all chef needed was an apology. I liked that.
I still find it funny how chef needed to get some, one last time ahah, before telling Plawan he knew about him working for Meta and leaving
The girl (chef ex) was really annoying and I’m still annoyed it take quite long for chef to set boundaries. Kleen got on my nerves too… but in the end everything got sorted out
For the second couple, I think they were interesting at first and the tension was good. but in the end, didn’t much like them that much. I don’t like how Meeta character became (and this thing with money was annoying), so clingy and everything, I don’t know. And it was pretty slow
Another point, I had some good laughs
So, I recommend, it pretty short, good chemistry and entertaining

I am actually obsessed with this show, having to wait a whole week for each episode is probably the hardest thing I have ever done. I really liked the main couple when they were in pitbabe together and so when I saw that they were going to be starring in their own BL I knew I had to watch it. The first episode was a little slow but after that its literally perfect. The second couple isnt my fav but I am also normally not a huge fan of side couples in general, but if you like that then I think you will enjoy them.Also the soundtrack is absolutely fire and its like different from the normal bl soundtracks that we always hear.

I really loved this drama. mainly because of jj and mante. I really hope that benz and Garfield get a serie for them self were they are the main couple. they really did good.

Surprisingly Amazing
I actually hesitate to watch this at first, since i wasn't familiar with the actors. But then i saw some fan made videos on youtube and amazed by the chemistry from both main leads. So i decided to binge-watch it, and WOW it didn't disappoint!. From the story wise, acting, chemistry, and everything is soooo good!Kiss and love scenes on this series have got to be one of the best out of Thai BLs (or even all dramas). We're convinced that they are in love. And what i like about it is every kiss has different urges. We can fee whether it was frustration kiss, passionate kiss, sad kiss, playful kiss, etc. The actors really did excellent job here.

PLOT: A broke model/YouTuber, Plawan, gets fired from Oab's restaurant. Oab is a chef famous for his basil stir-fry. He wants to sell his restaurant (to pay for his mentor's medical expenses) but refuses to sell it to Methas, an unscrupulous real estate developer. Plawan (who has no cooking skills) is recruited as a potential successor, paid for by Methas. As the selection process progresses, Plawan and Oab fall in love. Methas has an accident and is treated by JJ (Plawan's best friend).+++ I really like Sailub and Pon, ever since Pit Babe. Sailub (super handsome with that hairstyle (•ө•)♡) and Pon (ugly hairstyle, though (*_ _)人) are amazing.

PLOT: Un mannequin / youtuber fauché, Plawan, se fait jeté du restaurant de Oab, chef réputé pr son sauté au basilic. Oab veut vendre son restau (pr payer les frais de santé de son mentor), mais refuse de vendre à Methas, promoteur immobilier sans scrupule. Plawan [sans compétence en cuisine] se fait recruter parmi les candidats successeurs, payer par Methas. Au fil des éliminat° ds le processus de sélection, Plawan et Oab tombent amoureux. Methas a 1 accident et est soigné par JJ (bestie de Plawan).
+++ J'aime bcp Sailub et Pon, depuis Pit Babe. Sailub (super handsome avec cette coiffure (•ө•)♡ ) et Pon (coiffure moche, par contre (*_ _)人 ) font des étincelles.

A very good series
The chemistry between all the actors is amazing and the acting is very solid. The main couple in particular give both phenomenal acting whan it comes to feeling and very good NC scene.The story, if silly at time, is well written. If the main character can be a little irritating in the first 15min, he will grow on you.
Overall, a very good series, worth watching and rewatching !

The chemistry between both of the couples is phenomenal!!!
I fell in love SailubPon in Pitbabe and so I was really excited to watch another show with them. Their chemistry was on top! I loved seeing their relationship slowly develop. The show was really entertaining since they added the cooking contest storyline. I personally found this quite refreshing as it was different from all of the other highschool/college romance bls. But even though I started watching for SailubPon I gotta admit that I finished for Garfield and Benz. These two absolutely stole my heart. I only wish they had more screen time and i am PRAYING for another show with them. Their chemistry was simply mind blowing and I really loved their acting. I’m honestly getting annoyed by the number of sex scenes portrayed in this series. I love both of them and enjoy seeing them together, but those bed scenes were too much.
This series could have ended easily if Chef Oab had done what the audience expected, but I guess the way P' Nui steered the story in a different direction was surprising. Especially after the scene in Episode 7. I never thought it would take another 50 minutes to finish, but they proved that this series is worth watching until the end.
The side couple always attracts my attention. In this show, Khun Methas and JJ's relationship had a significant influence on how the series progressed. I really hated Garfield in Pit Babe, but he proved to his fans that he deserved another chance. Meanwhile, Benz's character, Khun Methas, was the most developed in the series. Even though his acting was the weakest, I appreciate his effort to make the series more engaging.

This love definitely didn’t talk about long beans
I was super excited when this series was announced because I really loved Sailub and Pon in Pitbabe and I was robbed of Benz and Garfield. I felt this series had its ups and downs, but overall the series was really good and I don’t regret watching it however that last episode didn’t need to be and hour and thirty minutes long. Just a warning that spoilers are ahead.The plot was something because I’ve never seen a drama focusing on a basil themed restaurant and a basil lowering YouTuber that now wants to be a chef in order to get money. Plawan was a YouTuber who’s channel focused on his lover for anything basil, but he went to Oab’s restaurant and he wouldn’t let him film so when Oab was looking to hire a new owner for his restaurant since he lost his passion Plawan tried out for it. Also at the same time Plawan went with his bff JJ to gain money for competing to win the restaurant with Metas because they won’t let him take it over since he won’t keep the restaurant, but would turn it into a mall. Then there was a whole entire survival show about who’s gonna take over Oab’s restaurant based on skills and at first you felt that’s Plawan would definitely not make it too the end because he really isn’t the best compared to others, but the final four were Plawan, Auto, Pansip, and Kluea. I felt bad for Auto since he wanted to win so his family can get money, but it was wrong stealing recipes. Then sadly my favorite got voted out which was Pansip, but luckily he was working at Nubnuengs restaurant because he actually ate there. At the same time Plawan was starting to date Oab and also dealing with the Metas problem until Kluea also had feelings for Plawan and Oab’s ex came back from studying aboard since her dad became sick and now she kinda wants to date Oab and wants everything to go back the way it was before. It was kinda getting messy and I felt the downfall of my interest came at this point of the show and too the end. But I will say that it went uphill with JJ and Metas!!!! I was so happy I didn’t get robbed of them again because they carried this show. So basically JJ is a psychical therapist who now has to take care of his enemy Metas because of Plawan making a deal with Metas and JJ doesn’t fully trust him. Then JJ got assigned to assist Metas with his bad knee and now has to make his knee get better and I have to say I was squealing so much because of how cute they were and especially that bathroom scene and those movie theatre scenes. I also have to say that JJ has full control of Metas because he will do anything he says if he gets to stay with him. Also that’s last scene where JJ has that giant diamond ring and his showing it off cause their engaged like I was screaming so much!! Also Oab where’s Plawans ring? Cause I don’t see it yet. Okay but overall even thought this show had its ups and downs it was overall a pretty good show and I do recommend it.

Underrated show!!!
Firstly, it didn't get my attention at first glance. I still gave it a chance and I'm glad I watched it until the end. It was a cute lovestory and I have to say that I mainly enjoyed the second couple more. I wished they had more screen time because they had so much potential. But the main couple also did a very good job.This drama is definitely underrated and it's sad that not many people are watching it.
I recommend it to anyone who wants a cute love story with a little drama 💕

More fun than expected
I already guessed from the trailer that this would be a comedy of some sort, but I wasn't expecting to have this much fun.The plot revolves around a cooking competition where the winner will become the new owner of Chef Oab's stir-fried basil restaurant. Plawan is a model with a passion for stir-fried basil who is having trouble making ends meet, so he makes a deal with the rich businessman Methas: if he wins the competition, he will give Methas the restaurant for a big sum of money, and Methas will be able to do whatever he pleases with the property. Chef Oab, however, hates Methas with a passion, and he is on high alert against anyone he suspects to be allied with him. Plawan needs to learn how to cook and win all the challenges prepared by Chef Oab, all without raising his suspicions.
I'm not a big fan of plots that revolve around scams, but this one made it work by making the entire situation very lively and entertaining from the get-go. Plawan is silly, but his energy really made me root for him despite everything; his attraction to Chef Oab and his scent also made me look forward for when Plawan would finally win him over.
The plot is fun, but it has the flaw of not being very believable. I don't have issues with plots that are unlikely to come true in real life, but I had to suspend my disbelief for more than one aspect of the story and ignore a couple of plot holes. The pacing, on the other hand, is very good! I always appreciate it when the directors are aware of how much space they have for the episodes and are able to use it well. I didn't feel like any part of the story was dragging for too long, nor did anything feel rushed.
It's a story that mainly relies on the character dynamics and the events around them rather than character introspection, so don't expect much to be discovered about anyone's likes and dislikes, but it does its job well. The growing attraction between Plawan and Oab is not only believable, but very visible, and I was happy to see that as a couple they are never shy with skinship, breaking the usual dynamics of BL couples in other series. The unexpected pairing of Methas and JJ also worked great, although it probably had less sparks flying than the main couple. Last but not least, the friendships! I really like how Plawan and JJ felt like real best friends - something that is often neglected in BLs.
I didn't watch with many expectations, so maybe that's why I enjoyed this series so much and felt like being this generous with my ranking. I still want to recommend it to whoever is looking for something fun, light, and moderately spicy to watch.
