at the start of this, was wondering if i will develop an interest cause sitting here for over an hr at a time, watching Hong Hui Ju get treated like crap by EVERYONE isn't my idea of entertainment. so am really glad for how this flipped by the end of the ep.*****************************************************************************************************************************************at the start felt bad & sorry for Hong Hui Ju, like not just a douche of a mother-in-law but that over bearing mother - just thinking what her upbringing must have been like, is depressing enough. then add in that husband (if u can call him one) treating her like a dog; stand, sit, come, stay.... like WTF. ******************************************************************get he is angry at her sister for jilting him, but why her mute sister at fault or deserves to be treated like dirt?!? just cause she happens to be around & cause of her disability, doesn't have a way to stand-up up for herself, let alone put her foot down & say "NO" to the marriage, that's been sprung on her. she now ur punching bag to vent??? *****************************************************************************************************************************************btw really wish they showed what happened to the kidnapper after the mini collision... she drag him out of the car & left him at the side of the road? or toss him over the side into the over growth???

tbh at first I was sceptical on how they'd explore the idea. the title is "when the phone rings", but it only looked like just one failed kidnapping attempt. but just as that thought crept into my mind, this drama took me by a surprise.

This is the worst drama I've ever watched in my life. I'll never watch it again. If I knew the content of this drama was only provoking I would have watched it from the beginning. You have insulted Palestine!!! It's clear that Israel is committing genocide against Palestine. Such a good drama that you inserted an unnecessary scene. I'm so disappointed

Buena adapatacion de los personajes, nos dieron un poco de informacion de cada uno y como se han desarrollado sus vidas hasta el momento. En un matrimonio arreglado pero como uno tiene un limite y con una llamada se desatara un remolino de sucesos y emociones no solo de ellos sino de todos los involucrados.

Took a few minutes to get my bearings and know all the characters that were introduced but by the end of the episode I was hook!

Really liked the first episode as it caught my eye and set its USP amidst its storyline. I love the elitist materialism depicted and makes it superior. The fiction part is well visioned and brought to life. This makes me want to see more of the riches and wealth and power.

i love how perfect YYS in his role as blue house spokeperson. Soobin fits heejoo as well. they look perfect together. 1st episode was really interesting.

I watched this because the synopsis looked interesting and I was excited to see a disabled person as a main character however, this is just a ploy and doesn't even last the entire episode. The writers also used sign language for a joke which is ableist (look up the definition) but I tried to ignore it. Unfortunately, the comments that came out after the writers apologized made it so much worse. It really reminded me that people do not understand: yes, disabled people have a great sense of humor (as a disabled person with chronic pain, if I didn't laugh, I would cry all the time) but it's an entirely different thing when non-disabled people USE you as a joke. I'm going to get flamed for this but it wouldn't be the first time and it won't be the last.

I got hooked with just the first episode, omo just look at them, perfecto. He's dominant type and she's way too wild, I didn't expect her character like that, I'm loving it. A perfect first episode

this episode sets the tone of a romance thriller perfectly. you have distinct character settings, a great deal of twists and turns, and red-hot, sizzling chemistry. you know you're in for a makjang, and the show's not going to win any excellence awards in logical engineering, but HELL if it's not going to be cracktastically fun. speaking of, this drama is INTENSE. i'll have to attribute a good deal of that intensity to the yoo yeon-sook's superb portrayal of the good old smoldering asshole ml. beneath that cold, hard exterior, you can just FEEL the passion bubbling beneath and threatening to burst at any given moment. let's also give kudos to the excellent theme music that's always epic sounding and evokes the dramatic atmosphere SO well.
bottom line: this drama is immediately addictive and tells you what to expect straight away. it is DRAMATIC and it KNOWS it and OWNS it. you're going to ignore the nitty gritty and sit back and enjoy the drama, mystery, romance, and CHEMISTRY.

The first episode was super intense!🔥😸 At first, the plot was a bit confusing but it all came together and honestly it was so good... The cast totally nailed it—Yeon Seok and Soo Bin were amazing... totally killed it.
YS- Baek Sa Eon looked so handsome, like a proper chaebol, and his charisma?🤩 Wow, no words for that. He's a spokesperson of Korea...
SB-Hong Hee Ju a looked so cute! 🥰 She’s deaf (or so we think) and is also a chaebol. She works as a sign language interpreter though...
Here’s the twist:
-Even though it's a contract marriage...nobody knows HHJ (FL) is BSE’s (ML) wife.
-ML character seems super protective of her, like she’s his one real weakness.
-FL misunderstands ML actions a lot .
- FL's mom, doesn’t seem to care about her, which is honestly so sad.
- Great supporting cast
Altogether such a great start to the series...

Only the first episode is out and it has me H-O-O-K-E-D! Its been quite some time since a show caught my attention in the first episode itself!!

Whoaw the first episode started excitingly and magnificently. Yoo Yeon Seok is already one of my favorite actors and I love his acting. The girl is also very beautiful and they look good together as far as I have watched from the episode. Also, another plus for me is that sign language is used in kdrama. The excitement ended instantly, I am eagerly waiting for the next episode

This is why it is scary to receive a spam call and this first episode looed boring in the beginning, but knowing that the FL can talk and see how interesting it is to find out who is the real ML intentions...

Episódio 1A série já começa com força. O primeiro episódio entrega mistério logo de cara, com aquela ligação que muda tudo — e prende imediatamente. A apresentação dos protagonistas é natural, e a química entre eles salta aos olhos desde o primeiro encontro. O clima é tenso e romântico ao mesmo tempo, e a trilha sonora acerta no tom. Final do episódio = gancho perfeito.
