Tiktok has been successful in intriguing me into watching mini dramas so I've started like 10 series and didn't finish a single one. The synopsis is good but either the acting and plot went downhill, or it wasn't just engaging.

This one really surprised me, and I saw this from a comment section in this app. I could tell how different it is from the usual longer dramas I watched but the acting and storyline is really engaging. It might not be high quality but it still filled my drama-addicted soul so I'm happy with this one.

I also love how the leads still has a hint of villain even though they're the protagonist in this story. They didn't entirely lose the antagonistic characteristics they should have in the "original storyline". And the FL intentionally killed someone! That's a plus for me. Murderous sunshine FLs are my favorite.

FL trapping those noble ladies was such a good move too (I've seen it before but she's still smart on executing that).

A Visual Feast with Fluffy Romance

First Impressions:
This is the first time I’ve seen such vibrant aesthetics in a cdrama! The costumes are so ethereal, they practically smell expensive through the screen. Every accessory and outfit is stunning, the quality is an absolute chef’s kiss.

The Vibes:
Light & Fluffy: If you’re looking for action or heavy politics, this isn’t it. It’s more of a cozy, low-stakes romance with dreamy visuals.
Adorable Couple: The leads are SO CUTE. I love them! The ML’s backstory broke my heart; he didn’t deserve any of that. 😭
Since this is a reincarnation/transmigration story, I love how the drama acknowledges it instead of obsessing over the plot like some manhwas do. Refreshing!
The Struggle (But in a Good Way?):
Pacing: I’ll be honest I’m a little bored (currently on Ep 16). I usually prefer fast-paced, action-packed shows, but this is more of a slow, pretty, feel-good watch.
With 27 episodes (each around 18 mins), it’s perfect for a lazy, cozy day when you just want something lightweight and visually satisfying.
Final Thoughts:
Visuals: 10/10 – The colors, costumes, and cinematography are insanely gorgeous.
Romance: Sweet & Simple – No unnecessary drama, just fluff and vibes.

Watch If… You want eye candy and a chill romance without heavy plot twists.

Beautiful and Gorgeous

This drama is one of the best short dramas I have ever watched. And honestly one of my top favourite dramas period. The main couple is adorable and has such good chemistry. I love their interactions and watching them fall in love is a treat. There are some super hot kisses too.
Some of my favourite bits are
"Ning Chuxi, I love you without restriction and without conditions."
All the scenes with Huailiu the guard and the Uncle Bai Luoqiu who I couldn't help but ship
Seriously that umbrella scene, the rub your back scene, the bit where the Uncle helps him with his wounds, the fight scene at the end?
Like they are just so shippy and I enjoyed watching them almost as much as the main two.
Also the dad in here is just the best and that's soo great to see because often the dad is scheming. And the Emperor is pretty cool here too! We love that!
Few negative things were a few continuity errors, montage, too many time skips and too much focus on the evil couple tbh. But overall, this drama is seriously amazing. Would 100% recommend it to anyone!

Wealth is too much but love is never enough

A mini series that rivals many high ranking full series with its simple and yet endearing and at times powerful portrayal of reversing fate and overcoming trauma. This mini has some of the most cinematically stunning shots I have seen on screen, a somewhat repetitive but beautiful soundtrack, and a few of my new all time favorite dialogue exchanges. For its short run time and relatively basic plot this show packs a punch and deserves high praise.

Ning Chu Xi is a college student that is pulled into a novel she has read and becomes the side character that is destined to die at the hands of her husband. In order to avoid this fate she immediately leaves the capital and flees her future husband to instead spend her days in comfort and wealth staying uninvolved with palace conflicts and power struggles. News of the Emperor choosing brides for the Princes reaches her and she determines to return to the capital to avoid being forced to marry the Third Prince and following the original plot. Ning Chu Xi ends up capturing the attention of the Crown Prince Xiao Xing Heng and they start down a path of friendship and love that changes the story revealing revelations about the original story that Chu Xi did not know.

Does this drama have plot holes? Yes, it absolutely does which become more apparent in the last stretch. However, this show ends up giving one of the healthiest relationships between two emotionally mature individuals that actually communicate and that is so incredibly refreshing to see. Chu Xi and Xing Heng have chemistry in spades and their ability to use words and actions to convey their emotions makes them one of my all time favorite couples in Cdrama-land. This relationship is what carries this drama as the romance is organic and endearing making it impossible for you as the viewer to not root for them.

My two favorite interactions:
"Do I have many flaws?"
"As many as the stars in the sky"
"What about my strengths?"
"As few as the sun"
"Then why do you like me?"
"Because when the sun rises, all the stars grow dim"

And

"I love you without any reason and without any conditions."

The team also did an excellent job choreographing and shooting action scenes in ways that are beautiful and believable without actually having a large cast or technically perfect martial arts. By using simple props like leaves or water and the ability to choose camera angles wisely the director is able to create visually impressive scenes that have a big impact.

I am not personally a fan of the styling and makeup for this drama, specifically for the women. Leaning more into a fantasy style this drama has elaborate hair accessories, flowing gowns, and heavy makeup. I assume they chose this style to portray the fantasy element of being inside a novel but the setting and story line lends itself more as a historical about romance and palace power struggles. The men tend to have much better styling that is attractive but the over the top hair dressings and makeup on the women were distracting for me.

There is also no real follow through with Chu Xi's transmigration. The original plot of the novel is eluded to fairly often but how and why Chu Xi came to that world is never addressed. Even with its flaws I would still highly recommend this drama. With a short watch time and phenomenal elements you won't regret having seen it.

A química entre eles é simplesmente encantadora. Os olhares sutis, os toques prolongados e os momentos de tensão fazem o espectador sentir cada batida do coração deles. Lin Ze Hui transmite com maestria emoções não ditas, enquanto Zhi Yue equilibra inocência, inteligência e sagacidade. Eles realmente se apoiam mutuamente, e episódios como o de número 18 mostram como o amor se fortalece através da compreensão e cuidado.

Os vilões são exatamente o que se espera: ardilosos, sedentos por poder e capazes de criar tensão, mas nunca ofuscando o romance central. A trama consegue manter o equilíbrio perfeito entre intriga e romance, garantindo envolvimento do início ao fim.

A produção é um deleite visual: cores suaves, figurinos impecáveis, cabelo e maquiagem delicados, e cenários que lembram manhua ou doujinshi. A trilha sonora acompanha cada cena, intensificando tanto a tensão quanto a doçura dos encontros românticos. O drama usa de forma inteligente adereços simples e ângulos de câmera para criar cenas de ação e drama visualmente impressionantes, mesmo sem orçamento exorbitante.

Algumas cenas que marcam profundamente incluem a famosa cena do guarda-chuva, momentos de cuidado e proteção entre os protagonistas, e o suporte constante de personagens secundários como o guarda Huailiu e o tio Bai Luoqiu.
Além disso, o pai atencioso e o Imperador bondoso, adiciona um toque acolhedor e humano à narrativa. O romance é saudável, maduro e comunicativo, algo raro em dramas curtos de fantasia e transmigração.

Money Is Coming é leve, reconfortante, perfeito para dias preguiçosos. Um romance que aquece o coração sem dramas desnecessários, reviravoltas forçadas ou exageros. É uma série para apreciar a beleza dos personagens, a química do casal e a construção cuidadosa de um amor maduro e sensível.

Algumas verdades não precisam de força para serem ditas, basta que sejam sentidas.

Considerações finais

Visual: 10/10 — cinematografia, cores e figurinos encantadores.
Romance: Doce, orgânico, sem pressa.
Ritmo: Ágil, curto, mas completo.
