definitely 10/10! Season 2 is so peak!
I’m soo impressed with this season! The level of power, coolness, and vividness of the events has not changed at all! Everything was on top! The acting was excellent! The plot and its execution were brilliant! It may not be for the faint of heart, as there is a lot of blood and prolonged fights, but for fans of action movies, this drama is a real gem!The ending hints at a new season, and to be honest, this show could be watched forever. If the second season had not been as good as the first, there would have been no point in continuing it. However, in this case, the second season is on par with the first, and I’m eagerly awaiting the new season!
I’d like to highlight the pure-hearted nature of Geon-u! He’s an incredible character, sincere and simple-minded. WooDo Hwan's portrayal of Geon-u's heavy burden, fears, and concerns is truly captivating. As you watch, you feel the guilt and the weight of his choices. Lee Sang-yi's character (U Jin) is equally sincere and bright. The way Geon-u's mother became his mother is heart-wrenching. He also struggles, but as an older brother, he must show strength and determination. He has always been a steadfast support and faith for Geon-u. Their mutual support has helped them overcome all challenges.
The emphasis on family and its significance in this drama is truly remarkable. The characters' care for each other is truly touching.
There are countless advantages to this drama, and it is definitely worth watching.

Forecasting a 100% chance of Rain~
Of course it was violent. Of course it was bloody. Of course there were dipictions of mindless cruelty. Of course it was full of omg, wtf, did that just happen, holy shite, are you kidding me moments!! It's Not a drama for the faint of heart. It was brutal. There was torture. But It was also matched with scenes of kindness, the pain of loss, brotherhood, and the bonds of friends who have become irreplaceable family~And acting doesn't just come down to saying a few lines while walking around. The action was absolutely insane. What's that phrase. High octane? And we're talking about multiple, extended fight scenes all around. Wasn't just the two leads, there was a shite ton battles on the side by supporting cast members as well. Had some surprising cameos.......and the one in ep 7 was very unexpected .........and f'n awesome~
This one had to live up to the raw adrenaline of the first and it was accomplished. The only thing I saw was that with the international mix being added, how many battle scenes could have been solved with a few guns?? As in the 1st, there were a couple things guns could've resolved but oh well.
It was action, acting, and more action. Very entertaining watch~
Hints of a season 3???..........

Great action drama- Rain steals the show
This season took a few episodes to find its footing. The beginning felt noticeably slow, and I wasn't sure where the story was headed. However, once the pacing picked up, I found myself completely hooked and couldn't stop watching. The boxing duo remains the heart of the series. Their dynamic is as strong as ever, and watching them fight to protect their loved ones carried real emotional weight. Rain, in particular, delivered an outstanding performance as the villain. He brought depth and charisma to the role, making his character both intimidating and compelling to watch.
The fight choreography deserves special mention — the action scenes were well-executed and genuinely exciting. Across the board, the cast performed admirably.
I also want to highlight Do Hwan, who continues to be one of my favorite actors. His ability to display complex emotions with subtlety and power is remarkable, and he added significant emotional layers to the story.
Be sure to watch both post-credit scenes — they are not to be missed.
The ending strongly hints at more to come, and I sincerely hope the production team announces a third season soon. I would love to see this team face another villain in the future.

GOLD
I loved EVERY SINGLE THING about it. It’s so intense that my heart was pounding half the time. Honestly, I’d already kind of forgotten what the first one was like (at least because it was dubbed in my language and I just had it playing in the background), but I felt like I liked the second one even more. Aside from the cool guys beating up the bad guys and the others fucking killing everyone, I also got really emotionally invested. Every time the main characters cried, I was ready to cry right along with them, but I held back just because of my contact lenses.Woojin and Gunwoo’s friendship is so precious—the “found family” trope really hits hard. They’re so smart and super cool; I love them so much 😭
And iPad Kid (MDL says his name is Alan, but I didn’t hear anyone call him by name, so who knows) broke through my wall of indifference toward antagonists, even though I wouldn’t exactly call him that bad? He was just running around after the guy with the tail and doing whatever he was told so he wouldn’t get stabbed.
Just to spite myself, I said I liked Taegeom, and then they killed him off in the very next episode 😔
I also have one complaint. Why are most of the bodyguards and these guys either dumb or—I just don’t get fights—AND WHY DOESN’T ALMOST ANYONE HAVE A WEAPON? I’m surprised that when they were catching Baekjeong (or however his name is spelled), the guy remembered he had a stun gun, and that asshole didn’t have time to kill everyone with that shitty scalpel.
Hints at a third season??

Actors brought down by poor quality script
I just finished Bloodhounds season 1 and 2 together so it's fresh as doozy. The first season is still fresh with me since I finished it in a binge, the second season I took a bit of time but overall the first season was a good 8/10 for me. Story was a bit weak at some points but it was a grounded season about loan sharks and how these two brothers meet and grow.
Now season 2 became horrid.
Why?
1. It lacks character development unlike season 1 that explored a lot of characters this season didn't
2. The villain is basic as fuck at least the villain had character development in season 1, this season 2 was just poor
3. Bringing back the previous cast that wasn't close with the boys seems like they're just forcing it, it wasn't coherent
4. The main protagonist is a freaking cry baby in season 2
I felt like the story was just bad like off the ground the premise was horrible.
The story would be immensely better if the two protagonist become the person that helped them out which I won't spoil but you'll get it if you watched both. Season 1 was really good because it gave the two a mission, it gave them a spirit and principles to live by which you don't see in Season 2 at all.
Season 2 should have been the main protagonist is a boxing champion, is famous and therefore has money. He endeavors on the side to help other people just like how in season 1 he was helped. You could have intertwined it with underground boxing in a more sensible way not some dark web bull. They could have been out and run into a girl who was severely beaten, near death and that starts entangling the two the villain.
That is it.
It was so shallow the way they introduced the villain and the entire season was just so basic.
Also season 3 is a thing apparently and it ends with some cut scenes which I absolutely hated. It's going to get extremely convoluted in season 3. They should have just went grounded scripting and it would have turned out better.
I'm amazed the rating as of writing is a 8.7 while season 1 is 8.7 like sometimes I'm just wondering how that is possible. It is night and day what season 1 vs 2 is.
I still enjoyed it because I liked the fight scenes but I can smell a mediocre script a mile away and this was just bad. The actors deserve better because season 1 proves they can really act but the script didn't give them room so everyone felt like just borderline basics.

Brutal Fights, Great Friendship and an Insane Villain
it had the perfect length to keep me completely glued to the screen from beginning to end.At first, I had some doubts about Season 2 because I usually love the first season of a show and then lose interest once I already know the concept. But here, I was completely wrong. I was hooked from the very first episode.
The fight scenes were on another level compared to Season 1. They were much more brutal, intense, and exciting to watch. I still liked the first season, but Season 2 definitely gave me much more.
I was a little disappointed that Park Seo Joon wasn't used more, but Rain's performance completely made up for it. He was incredible. I honestly can't think of another villain who felt this evil, intimidating, and brutally strong.
Gun Woo was much quieter this season, but he still managed to shine. Woo Jin also had some amazing fight scenes. I really wanted him to beat that huge bald guy, but unfortunately, he had to lose for the story to continue. Tae Geom didn't have much screen time either, but the scenes he had were really good.
One of my favorite things about this season was still the friendship between Gun Woo and Woo Jin. After everything they went through, it would have been completely understandable for Woo Jin to walk away and choose a safer life. Instead, he stayed by Gun Woo's side even though he knew how dangerous it would be, and I really admired that.
I was also so happy to see that Du Yeong, who we thought had died in Season 1, was actually alive.
Another thing I appreciated was the police team. This time, the cops were actually smart and useful, especially the youngest member. Even though he wasn't very experienced, he ended up being one of the most helpful characters.
As for the ending, I really wish they had killed Baek Jeong. He already had his season to shine, and if they make another season, I would much rather see a completely new villain. Still, the ending was satisfying overall.
I really hope they make another season because this series is just too good.

Didn’t Expect Season 2 to Be This Good
Wow, what an amazing series, I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to for this one. It’s the best Korean action drama I’ve watched. This season was even better than the first. The fights looked incredibly realistic and were so well choreographed, and the acting… wow, I have no words. I binge-watched the entire series in one day! thats how good it was ! great work :)Was this review helpful to you?
GAH SEASON TWO EVEN BETTER but... GORIER T_T
Honestly, action was INSANE; you can tell EVERYONE put so much work into the scenes...Absolutely superb acting just as the first season!!
Every episode is extremely INTENSE - so if you cannot take gore or intensity in terms of physically / mentally... it might not be for you~
Storyline has a lot of surprises! Good ones and not so good ones but another roller coaster of a ride!!
Honestly, really appreciated how season 2 connected with season 1, with the plot, memories, and characters; it really felt like one drama continued~
I cannot believe how the perfectly picked each of the cast members...
I think the ONLY thing I had a small wish for change was sort of perhaps building up the villains? Like S1 was great because the mother just happened to be intertangled... but S2 was just sort of extremely - just a straight up hateful evil dude?? haha
Totally still would recommend as it was still an insanely good watch!
