Didn’t Expect Season 2 to Be This Good

Wow, what an amazing series, I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to for this one. It’s the best Korean action drama I’ve watched. This season was even better than the first. The fights looked incredibly realistic and were so well choreographed, and the acting… wow, I have no words. I binge-watched the entire series in one day! thats how good it was ! great work :)

We Love To Fight;Bloodbath is a must

The show was on the fundamental move of giving and intense fight scenes; it was delivered properly.
The layers & depth of the characters is not much to talk about, much isn't given but the mutual trust they had in one another makes it more enjoyable, than suffocated, the bromance of our leads in S2 went into a tight era, shaping the intricacy of having a close friend you can lean towards in times of tears, anger, and sadness.
The graphic violence was existent & nauseating, giving you a flinch at every deadly blow (for some, not me).
The relationship with their mother was an important ride, as it was a nicely cooked delivery on my emotions.
Rain delivered a wacky, cruel, money-obsessed villain, impeccably.

Here we go again!??

Geon Woo and Woo Jin are back! I binge-watched the second season in just 2 days, I literally couldn’t tear myself away from this series. Incredibly suspenseful, with no moment to breathe. Of course there were some humorous elements, but this season was definitely darker than season 1. I kind of missed the brightness and humor here, Lee Sang Yi is made for that kind of role.

A beautiful relationship between the boys, very brother-like, which is also visible in how Geon Woo’s mother treats his friend like her own adopted son. The fight choreography is excellent — I don’t really know much about boxing, but as an amateur it all looked very convincing to me. Especially the highway fight scene with Yun Tae Geom — absolute banger!

The main characters are amazing. I can only imagine how much work they had to put in to build that physique and learn all those movements — impressive. I keep wondering how long the training must have taken to achieve something like that. The actor playing the gang leader was terrifying 😀 Honestly, I really wanted them to take him down in the end, he was awful 😀 but performed phenomenally.
Now the negatives: 😳

First of all — why pull a guy out of prison and then do absolutely nothing with him for several episodes? So much effort to extract a dangerous person just to actually use him at the very end of the series? 🤔

Second thing, more of a personal preference: too much gore. Some scenes I had to skip — ears, bathtub, torture… I get that it amps up the thriller vibe, but for me it was too much. I’m here for action and fight scenes, gore is just too much.

Another issue — not enough light and humorous breaks. The balance in season 1 was better. Here I was constantly stressed out 😀 maybe that was the intention of the writers though.

And one more thing: is the life of professional boxers really like that? That they constantly have to run from people, being chased by organizers of illegal fights? Geon Woo is a world champion, so I understand raising the stakes around him, but there are plenty of other fighters who would agree for money… why are they so fixated on him? And all that trouble just to get one fighter. Just a small digression — I get that the story needs a trigger for everything to happen.

Overall: highly recommend, but for sensitive viewers — sometimes hand on the mouse ready to skip 😄

You know what this feels like, when the teen tv shows of the past always had their parents away or supppperer busy so the kids could do the saving of the world

Every “hyung” here makes gunhoo like a baby who can only throw punches so he’s not doing much

Tbh this should’ve been called the road of ahjussi hyunghood, so many ahjussis, I got lost on who’s who, the last three, I almost thought they’re the same ppl

An 8ish, but a boost up for my booyy WDH

tbh I’d have had it differently, but the ending scene was good too, kinda makes it sad that wasn’t done earlier and instead we got a really long arc of hyunghood interfering

For me, I’d have kidnapped woojin, made him fight every day and have geonu come save him, but plot twist , they have to fight each other

So cop guy died right? And they lied that he’s in a coma to geonu? Cuz like I said, all ahjussis looked the same
The “bloodhound” yet good guy, the other cop who I think wasn’t the old cop, and the last soldier guy

Choi siwon was hilarious, I wish the whole last ep was the actual drama and the aftermath was the focus

It’s like my favorite author once said, if you make a story, you better expect trauma
And this drama only got a second season for the trauma

bloodhounds 2 review.

I still prefer Season 1, but Season 2 is a strong and smart continuation of the story. It’s darker, more intense, and the emotional moments, especially in episodes 6 and 7, hit so hard. The wait was absolutely worth it. The main duo is incredible their chemistry, teamwork, and dynamic energy are on another level. Overall, Season 2 delivers excitement, suspense, and emotional depth, making it a must watch continuation of the series.
The acting is phenomenal every emotion feels real.
totally recommended.

Good story

Loved the first series but loved this one even more.. The 2MLs Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi didn't disappoint. Binge the whole series.. kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.
First watched Woo Do hwan in My country..
Fantastic series and as a bodyguard in
My King.. Eternal. The fight scenes were brutal and bloody and I did fast forward a couple of times 😱 it felt that real. I hope there's a third series in the making. I didn't like the dubbing.. I prefered listening in Korean with English subtitles. Thanks to all the people who made this gem of series. Wait for the 3rd..
Love from the UK..

Bloodhounds 2 my opinion

I just want to say first, I loved Bloodhounds season 1 and I love the cast of both season 1 and season 2.
In my opinion, and maybe I'm just being a scary baby about it, but Bloodhounds 2 is hard to watch because of the realistic fight scenes, and I don't like seeing my two favorite main characters get hit like that. I'm only on episode 2 because I have to keep pausing because the fight scenes are hard for my scary self to watch. I'm yelling at the TV acting a "fool". I'm afraid to keep watching, LOL. Jesus make it stop! I don't know if I can take it!

Prepare to rip your hair out

HOLY MOLYYYY!!!!!

If you’ve been waiting for this season since the first one released…then you must know the feeling of not being fully satisfied, because thats how this season left me.

Although that doesn’t mean it was bad but it definitely frustrated the shit out of me.

Not only did it feel like dumbed down every damn police officer and character this season, but somehow it seemed like our main characters along with side characters who fight, got weaker instead of stronger? They gave us a 4 year timeskip and during that time Gunwoo focused on getting the championship title but didn’t get stronger even though he was praised for being incredibly strong and intelligent when it came to fighting throughout the first season. It seemed redundant because in season 2 bothe Gunwoo and Woojin got their asses beat throughout the episodes and only in the last ep did Gunwoo do his kumbaya ritual and won, it was exactly similar to what season 1 did but with higher steaks and more brutality. The villain in season 2 was genuinely terrifying…like i felt his terror so they did an amazing job at making Rain the villain!

It just felt so so frustrating watching him beat everyone…! Especially Gunwoo!!! Each fighting sequence had me so mad I stopped looking forward to them because I knew to expect our good guys to get their shit rocked, I mean wow! Literally almost every episode they would lose a fight. It was anti climactic considering this show started off by showing off Woojin and Gunwoo’s fighting skills.

Regardless of that, season 2 was incredibly entertaining and it kept me on my toes each episode. I binged all 7 episodes in one day, it was easy to be curious about what the next episode held. The frustration you have builds up to hope and you saying “Come on!!! Beat his ass!!!!!!” throughout the episodes LOL.

But this season was such a nostalgia fest, so many characters from season 1 came back and flashbacks of the ones who passed away made me cry, it was a bummer that Kim Saeron’s character wasn’t mentioned at all or given information on what or where she is. In any case I hope atleast her character got to live on atleast in that universe.♥️

Incredibly frustrating, yet satisfying in the end. Still a crazy plotwist in the end which makes me all the more frustrated because now I need a season 3!!!!!!SMH!!!!!!

But yeah, so many things were left unanswered, now all I can hope for is that it gets renewed.

Great bromance, so many new relationships formed, so many older bonds which grew stronger. It healed something inside of me while it also made me leave unsatisfied, all in all. Season 1 is unmatched but season 2 heals you a little bit before beating you to a pulp and then only then gives you a little break and a kiss on the forehead in the last episode.

Not a bad season 2, frustating as hell…but not bad! Hope a season 3 will happen though!

⭐Notaaa 10000
Que venha a 3 temporada logo
