Motel California (2025)

Both FL and ML grew up in same village. FL leaves village to become successful and eventually returns to her hometown for some reasons. Later on, she reunited with ML who is her first love. ML works in village and only loves FL.

Both dramas have a single father working in the customer service sector with a strong daughter that create their own family which includes two boys, 1 orphaned the other & the other searching for a role model parental figure.

Thorny, messy, engaging plays on the healing romance narratives-tender and warm. The director of Motel California was an assistant to Lee Yoon Jung and you can see in attention to detail, setting and atmosphere.

WLIS has excellent writing and on fire chemistry. Hopefully MC will be as good.
