Heartbreaking.

Bible has once again pulled out all the stops to reveal what a great actor he is! His performance was so moving, so beautifully enacted, so deliriously loaded with emotions, it really hit you right in the feels. Heartbreaking, yet so powerful; he just nailed it. Jes, whom I am less familiar with brought his A-game as well. You could see his experience and talent oozing out of every scene, and he was fantastic too. They could tell a super powerful love story, truly affecting, within 20 minutes of screen time for both.

To me, the story is all about the love between two people - one who loved too much and one who loved too little. It was a love for which Garn was ready to give everything; he poured his heart and soul into that love until his last breath. On the other hand, Tul chose to go by the expectations of society and so he went for a wife and child. He did not repent his choice, but somewhere in his heart, he felt sorry that his love for Garn was not strong enough to match Garn's feelings.

Seriously, they both did amazing! ꨄ

Nothing i can say, all the emotion surging thru their eyes, their slightly touch with so much tense and comfort. The tenderness for each other despite the difference of love really tore me to pieces, MAGNIFICENT ⭐

I don't know that both actually can deliver it perfectly in an aesthetic way, but they nail it, one is love for their bonding, and another is love for their lasting. I know everyone at least feel it once in a life, the kind of love like that, that's why so many people feel it, the ftustation, the confusion, the depression, all of it is packed in not more than 20 minutes, bravo to all 🖤

Absolutely Heartbreaking

In essence, this 20-minute short film imparts more than most BLs do in 12 episodes. Ironically, it also goes deeper emotionally than most BLs ever go as well. Additionally, it is one of the best acted BLs from Thailand I have seen in a long time. So, in that sense, this film is genuinely a paragon. As much as this is a gem, I rejected its subtle underlying message ardently and found it quite demoralizing as a gay man. Allow me to explain.

The saga itself is not exactly original but how it is told, is. It is creative with its intent to pull at the heartstrings. Two young men meet at an audition for a series and initially form a friendship. Instantly. There is a natural connection between the two and there is also an organic chemistry between the two. They seem to have an instinctual bond to one another, as if it was meant to be. So much so that they are ‘shipped ‘together and over the years do one series/movie after another.

Sweaty hands that wrecked my heart...A brutal and nuanced story

This short movie managed to convey a fully fleshed story featuring two characters that clearly love each other in different way. Love can be hurtful when not reciprocated at the same level but different kind of love can coexist without one being necessarily more powerful than another. I think there was some room to do much more with the script but given the duration of the movie, they effectively convey the point of the story.

Honestly, the scenario got me teary-eyed a couple of times which is quite an impressive achievement for a movie of only 19 minutes. The acting was pretty good: I totally believed in the feelings portrayed on screen by Bible and Jes. Maybe for some scenes, it could have been even more raw but they found a right balance to have the characters act naturally in some heart-wrenching situation.

The production value was quite good with a soundtrack fitting the melodramatic arc of the story. It was maybe a bit overpowering and could had been toned down, but nothing really deterrent to the story depicted.

I would recommend this movie to people that are looking for a short emotional story that will leave you with a strong lasting impression. It might wreck you heart but it is worth a shot for the simplicity in which it portrays two characters loving each other albeit somewhat differently.

Stumbled upon this on the feed. Happy to watch this... Much like Shasha wrote: "it is not a BL: it is a gay story. It is not fantasy, it is the real life."

Story about Kan & Tul, 2 young actors who meet at a film workshop. They hit it off immediately & later we found out they actually falls for the each other.

But unfortunately Tul has different plans for his life: he wants to get married and have kids. So in the end they just carries on with their life.

That's pretty much the story without giving any more spoilers. In the end this really one reality check for gay life story

watch it and sob

Allergies. I’m not crying, you’re crying!

(Not the most original story but it managed to have its own identity in such a short span of minutes. It’s sad that it’s this sad, but at least I knew that going in. I could see this developed into a full picture or a miniseries, though that would be the devil’s work ‘cause imagine a full hour or MULTIPLE HOURS of enduring the pain of just knowing. Don’t anyone there! Let it rest.

Anywho, I was testing this to see if Bible and Jes were good together and it totally managed ti convince me to go watch 4 Minutes now, so that’s about what I’m gonna do now!

Tugs on your heartstrings

"The story was great. It allows you to experience the two characters' dilemmas, goals, and feelings as they consider why they take certain actions. Was it all destined to happen? The film progresses in a melancholic way with beautiful cinematography and excellent symbolism.

Bible's acting skills are top-tier. He has proven himself in roles such as Vegas in 'Kinn Porsche and Kan in this short film. Jes, as Tul, was also fabulous. Their chemistry was sizzling, and the acting felt natural and right. The music combined gave a heartbreaking feel to the film.

I don't think it had a bad ending as many are portraying; instead, I would term it as a "tragic" one. Right from the beginning, I could foresee the impending ending, and as a viewer, there was nothing I could do to stop it. TulKan I'll forever love you. I loved every second of it.

I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for a captivating and emotionally resonant story, with top-notch acting and beautiful cinematography. It's worth a watch!

watching this i think if the timeline was different, then it would hit harder. i get that we supposed to see this from the POV of men that can't openly love, cause society isn't open to it. & yet given that the 1st Thai BL came out in 2014 (let alone the fact that the mains r playing actors that r in a gay romance) even if the majority of Thailand wasn't OK with anything LGBT, there was enough acceptance, in certain parts. so if someone really wanted too they would fight for the right to love!

from where i sit, it seemed like more of a choice, Tul didn't want to rock the boat - he had a vision of his future & even though he loved Kan & is attracted to men, he wanted the facade of normalcy - whether for his family or just in general idk (as we didn't any back ground). but the out come was him hurting 3 people, cause of his selfishness - u could justify it & yet it is what it is. cause if u r gay, u will always be tempted - so even though Kan isn't around. Tul will stray & then what off his daughter & wife?!?
cause we have seen that when push comes to shove - Tul has no problem hurting the one he loves - cause his wishes & feelings come 1st.

& anyone mentioning the child - 1 there surrogates - sadly in a country like Thailand there enough poor people that it wouldn't be hard to find a woman (married or widowed) that would take on the job. 2. instead of marrying a normie that was duped into thinking she was being married for love, he could've seeked out a woman that was A-sexual that wanted children & more of companionship then a true partnership - guess i am over thinking this - but heck cause of this Tul's tears did mean a thing to me. i felt sorry for Kan, the unsuspecting wife & even the sweet child...

this was fine for a 1 off.

Overall: this 19 minute short film was well done. Aired on OfficialWhiteMusic YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuT0d_cvJkc

Content Warnings: a major one that I'll put in a comment with a spoiler tag

What I Liked
- acting
- chemistry
- clear flashback
- production value

Room For Improvement
- I've seen this type of ending so many times before
- not a fan of the overlay of images/sounds around 6 minutes
- a lot of time jumps/told over many years

Life choices

This short film had my heart aching. The two ML's had a deep respect and love for each other. One was sexually and romantically devoted; the other loved and possibly was attracted but had a different perspective. It's unfair to say the one who chose a conventional mate and subsequent family loved less. He desired a family and a child. The fact he chose that path doesn't make his love less or his choices a compromise. Perhaps social expections exerted strong influences on him or perhaps he loved his partner in the bl series they starred in but on a personal level not in a romantic and sexual way. I think it's unfair to minimalize either of the ML's feelings or choices. The whole short film was performed remarkably well and had a depth of perspective that ignites conversation and thought. On a different note: the two ML's have chemistry and are both excellent actors. I'm looking forward to seeing them paired in the series "4 Minutes".

Beautiful and heartbreaking

This is such a simple story, but Jes and Bible manage to give it such depth. The chemistry between the two is just so strong, and the characters feel natural and realistic. The yearning and heartbreak feels so real, and this movie just lets you feel all this raw emotion. The heart-wrenching of one loving too little and one too much is just so beautifully conveyed in just 20 minutes. Especially Bible once again showed his exceptional acting skill. I cannot wait for him to produce more content.
