I think we'd feel wronged if she survived : we were sold a drama about a terminally ill patient, it's in the order of things that she eventually dies. What remains to be seen is whether it will be shown on screen, and when it will happen. Will she die in the last episode like so many other character afflicted with brain tumors in kdrama land ? Or will she die a lot sooner and will we get to see Lee Jae Ha's grief ? Or will she only die after the ending credits, away from the spectator's prying eyes ?
Anything is possible. I think an ending where she is still alive and the future is unknown is much better for this drama. they can't just be like yeah we found a cure ( even though they did in other dramas such as queen of tears) but the vibes are different. I have a feeling the ML is also suffering from something.
Judging by the atmosphere, I think yes. And she should die, because it would be the right way to beautifully end a good tragic slice of life.
For me the best ending for this drama seems like: she will die, but will live on through the “movie within the movie” and the ML heart. Then it would be a beautiful metaphor, because the audience will also remember her through the movie, it will allow the drama to repeat the circle of life twice.
It would also be cool if they actually included some of her camera footage into the “movie within the movie”, but that’s probably too much to hope for.
it’s only ep. 5 lol. maybe things will change
I just finished episode 6 and I'm wondering: is the director sick? Is his illness terminal too? So far I understand he has some health issues, but I don't know how serious are. If you ask me how do I expect the story to end, I would say that I'd love to see them together by the sea hugged in ♥️. Dying or surviving is not the issue, as long as there's LOVE
She may die, but they probably will not show it as is - open end types... walking into the sunset. The poster is of the leads in a movie theatre, probably they are watching it together post which she dies. Or ML is watching it alone and he imagines her to be next to him. The entire premise is about her imminent death so if they bring a miracle, it will be an anti-climax.
