The first four episodes can be entertaining, the rest is pointless
I was intrigued by the split in the reviews and much the way one feels compelled to stare at an accident, I wanted to see how bad it could be.I was genuinely entertained for the first four episodes. To make the terrible direction choices make sense, I decided that the story takes place in a universe with a sort of passive hypnosis where if a person stares into a man's face, they fall in love. If two men stare at each other, they can get caught in a hypnosis loop and be unable to look away for an extended period of time. The main couple's entire relationship is based on hypnosis loops and the application of bandaids to small wounds.
I'm going to set aside the SA plot that is VERY poorly executed on every possible level (starts in episode 5), and expand on the role of bandaids in the show. In this universe, the application of bandaids, and sometimes larger wound coverings (but mostly band aids), is its own love language and a significant relationship act. Band aids are so significant in this universe that a man can become jealous of his doctor lover applying a band aid to a patient during working hours.
So, what mainly makes this show entertaining is the mostly-fun second couple. However, their relationship crisis is triggered by an Evil Character(tm). The Evil Character's back story that when they were a kid, the doctor half of the side couple attended to them in a medical setting and.... applied a band aid. Yup. A doctor applied a band aid to a kid, and that kid then spent years looking for the doctor (because the kid didn't think of going back to the medical establishment where they encountered the doctor I guess?) with the intention of entering into a relationship with the doctor.
Since there are a lot of reviews that deal with the more substantive plot issues, I'll leave it here with the recommendation that if you want to take a chance with it, you focus on the side couple and stop after episode 4, or at the very latest, before the party in episode 5. It's not so much that the rest of it is toxic (although they do manage to have some genuinely offensive dialog and bad character moments after my recommended stopping point), but that it is boring and does nothing to earn the emotional beats it's trying to hit.

The problem with this series isn’t that the script is weak, it’s that it’s fundamentally misguided. I can deal with a weak script if the core idea is solid but just poorly developed. But deciding to base the plot around an alleged rape and treating that as a good narrative choice? Sorry, but that was a huge misstep. Dragging out the false rape storyline for two whole episodes was wrong, and the way the topic was handled, so carelessly and without depth, made it even worse. It was a string of bad decisions that should never have made it past the writing room.I don’t blame the actors, though. They did the best they could with what they were given. Overall, I actually enjoyed the performances of the six main actors and thought the chemistry between the couples was strong. Arm came off a bit stiff at first, but he grew into the role nicely. Tum and Klah definitely deserved more screen time. The jealous female characters felt unnecessary. I look forward to seeing this cast again in future series, but with a better script.

Overall I liked it?❤️
Honestly, I started this series with zero expectations, in fact the only reason I watched this is Lee❤️ It's one of those cliché engineering series, it has a lot of clingy scenes but overall I liked it. It's one of those light weighted series, where everything is just always happy and loving. Although a few of the scenes that I had watched on reels were not there so I'm guessing some scenes got deleted, but it was worth watching. Would I rewatch this? Probably No. But if you're somewhere who likes cliché engineering series, I would surely recommend you to watch it once✅💚Was this review helpful to you?

How did it get this rating.......,
I genuinely don't get how this show got the rating it got??TW: rzpe
TLDR: shit script, they deserve better, bad representation of queer love/queer stories
The actors deserve a better script.
Point blank period
Like ok yes it's kinda fun to go back to the typical doctor X engineer
But we didn't need the annoying girl? We didn't need all these random side quests they basically get just to add drama
And we definitely didn't need the rzpe trope????????
The way it was put in the show was already unnecessary plus the way it was handled??
Even if he didn't do it.... DONT LET ME THINK HE DID FOR AT LEAST 2 WHOLE EPISODES
Also no one in there right mind would go: he rzped me LET ME GIVE HIM BZCK HIS KISS BY KISSING HIM!?!?
Plus I just really don't like how this was the script they put on the actors
I'm sorry but we know they can do better....
Also also now that the girl got rejected like what out of nowhere she starts liking her girl best friend?
Like we didn't need her to go through all that ?? Just let girls like each other? Why make it so difficult and/or complicated
Just give me queer happiness
And yes all queer storylines, not just fluff happy ones, are important and we need those
But this definitely isn't it like this is taking 10 steps back
Btw we know we can get those queer storyline
They've shown us they can do it
Why fuck it up like this??

MAIN COUPLE < SIDE COUPLE
Yall… I genuinely don’t even know what to say about this series.I finished it in 3 hours. THREE. HOURS.
That is not binge culture. That is me speed-running mediocrity. And before you ask, no it’s not because it was SO GOOD I couldn’t stop. It’s because it was so textbook I could literally predict every line before they said it. I was sitting there like
“okay now he’s gonna misunderstand.”
“okay now someone’s gonna cry.”
“okay now slow motion.”
And boom. I was right. AGAIN.
Now listen… I am disappointed. Not in a dramatic crying on the floor way. More like standing in the kitchen at 2AM staring into the fridge like… "this could’ve been more".
Long. My man. My problematic fave. WHY do BL gods hate you? Why do they keep giving you series that feel like reheated leftovers? Is there a curse? A ritual? A grudge from a past life? I need answers. But when I found out he wasn’t pairing with Frank anymore, I was like
“THANK YOU GOD OF GAYS.”🌈🙏
Because let’s be honest. That pairing felt one-sided. It was giving “I’m here for the paycheck.” The vibe was not vibing. The chemistry was missing. The soul was absent. So when I heard new partner? I was READY. I was seated. I was moisturized.
Arm enters. And I went… “Okay… cute.”. He kinda looks like JJ if JJ and Frank had a soft reboot baby. Face cute. Acting… a bit buffering. Slight lag. But maybe a little better than Frank. A LITTLE. I’m being generous today.
Anyway. If you love this series, my review might sting. And that’s okay. We grow through pain. 💅

a) Plot
GIRL. This is giving 2 Moons PTSD 🚨 The moment it started with that random fight scene between Knight and Mud I was like “Okay wait. Why are we fighting? Who are we? Is this it?” Then Mild suddenly appears, punches Knight in slow motion like we’re filming a student thesis project, and then starts treating his wounds like "WHAT IS THIS??". And I’m sitting there like “WHO ARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU TOUCHING HIM? WHERE IS THE INTRODUCTION???”
The transitions? Messy. Scene A to Scene B? Teleportation. We are skipping emotional buildup like it’s optional DLC.
Then Per x Kan enter… and suddenly I’m interested 👀. Why is the side couple more compelling than the main couple AGAIN? Why is this a recurring BL disease? Knight x Mild plot basically revolves around the allegation that Knight raped Mild. And here’s the thing... even after finishing, I was still like… “Did he? Did he not? Why is this unclear?”. Mild has flashbacks of assault but Knight says he only kissed him while drunk so the show treats this like a dramatic mystery but then drains it the moment it gets interesting.
BABE. You could’ve made it that Mud’s friend did it and Knight caught him so Mud misunderstood or something. You could’ve added layers. Betrayal. Misunderstanding. Angst. Courtroom vibes. SOMETHING. Instead we got watered down conflict and rushed resolution.
Now Per x Kan? That’s the real show. Bad boy gone soft for one man? Yes please. Enemies to lovers? Inject it into my bloodstream. Their chemistry? Hot. Convincing. Criminally underused. They should’ve been the main couple. I said what I said.
Also the family drama with Knight and Per’s parents? Weak. I wanted rage. I wanted screaming. I wanted Per’s mom to still hold grudges like it’s her full-time job. I wanted Long and Mon ugly crying while their parents fought. We were ROBBED of meltdown content.
The pacing gets slightly better near the end but some cringe scenes? Unnecessary. I felt secondhand embarrassment at least twice.

b) Characters
> Knight played by Long Lee Shi
First of all. The mullet.
THE MULLET 😩🔥
Why did this man wake up and decide to attack me personally? 😩
I saw the hair and I said out loud, “Oh I’m done. I’m finished. I’m no longer functional.” Long is a good actor. Period. No debate. But Knight as a character? Bland seasoning. We’re told he’s a playboy, untrustworthy, emotionally complicated… but WHERE is the backstory? Where is the buildup? Everything happens too fast. There’s no smooth transition into his “in love” era. One minute he’s chaotic, next minute he’s devoted.
I needed more internal struggle. More depth. More “I hate that I love you.”
> Mild played by Arm Chaiyapat
Who is this baby?
Arm… listen… I’m watching you 👀
It’s his first series so I’m not dragging him to hell. But acting? Mid. Tears? Minimal. Emotional breakdown? Contained. Sometimes he just stands there crying like he’s aware of the camera. Let it go baby. Be ugly. Cry like your mascara is illegal.
Character wise? Confusing. He says he’ll trust Knight, then runs to ask the friend instead. Pick a lane, bestie. Are we strong? Are we uncertain? What is the direction? It’s giving weak power bottom but not in a fun way.
> Per played by Mon Taechin
Why is this man so fine? Why does he look aggressively Thai and beautiful? Why am I weak?
Bad boy gone soft? That’s my kink 👅. I admit it. He had chemistry. He had presence. But again, no backstory. Show me him messing with girls before fully committing. Show me the transition. I want to SEE the growth not just hear about it.
Also… Per kissing a girl? Why did that hit? Why did that do something to me? I need therapy 😩💦🍆
> Kan played Pak Varayu
POWER BOTTOM CODED. Period 😌🫶🏼. He knows what he wants. When his best friend confessed, he said “sorry babe I’m gay.” Iconic behavior. But again… no backstory. No trauma. No depth. They said “Here’s Kan. Accept him.”
Plain rice. Edible. But where’s the spice?
_____________________________________________
c) Steam Scene
Main couple? Chemistry… not really there. I even skipped their scene which is INSANE behavior for me. That’s how you know.
Per x Kan though? I rewound. For research purposes.
_____________________________________________
d) OST
OST?
…
Exactly.
_____________________________________________
e) Overall
It’s not terrible. But it’s not memorable. Main couple chemistry is lukewarm. Conflict underdeveloped. Backstory missing. Transitions rushed. Side couple carried the entire show on their backs like unpaid interns.
Would I rewatch?
Be serious.
Final score: 6/10.
It almost got a 5 but I’m feeling charitable today. 💅

Potential lost cz of poor plot
I watched this show after watching the reel where the main couple 1st meet. Mint is getting bullied and knight kinda protects him.. so i was expecting something really fun to watch like probably a very cunning top and innocent bottom or a love hate relationship like ArcArm had in perfect 10 liners. I start with this drama and yes it seemed fine for like 1 or 2 episodes not that great not that bad. Then they reveal that the reason mild's brother doesn’t approve of knight is cz he 🍇ed mild while he was drunk and during this conversation they kinda show a flashback of the incident and mild is kinda traumatized. So what would you expect? Especially when the topic is so sensitive. You'd expect them to reveal the culprit or a really big redemption arc correct? (I did find it wierd that mild was not affected by it the whole time until the brother brought it up like he didn't show any kind of rejection or fear towards anyone but we can ignore that)....Well so what do they do?? They just change the whole plot to that being a whole misunderstanding and that never happened 🙄 (then what's with the flashback and mild being traumatized?). Like they just dump that down the trash. Knight says its a misunderstanding and they run away for a private honeymoon WTF🙃🙃🙃
THE ONLY REDEEMING THING ABOUT THIS SHOW WAS THE 2ND COUPLE BUT EVEN THEIR STORY WAS SOO DRAGGY. I had to skip soo much to complete this thing. It was really bad the 1 star is just for the cast and the 2nd couple everything else was pure BS. I've watched soo many bls but this is the 1st one i absolutely hated. Not 1 thing i liked about this drama

Actors find a different production company
I was annoyed from the first episode, so why did I continue to watch...the actors. Who are all very good. The writing was horrible, the plot was non-existent, and I cannot believe that they expected us to believe that there was SA and the "victim" who was only asleep and not drugged didn't wake up if he was SA. Just this one example shows what poor writing this series is.
I do not find fault with the actors who are all very good but please actors go find a different production company to work for...there are many out there who have better writers, directors, scripts and while you're at it find different agents who will work with you and not just find you anything to work on and making your value diminish.
Other very good actors in other series under this production company need to do the same (looking at you N&M)
All in all, I like the actors, the series is bad and the only reason I continued watching was for the actors.

Why change the original trailer plot to this?
Why did they change the plot of this BL from the original trailers to this? And why change the actors too? Also, why does Lee Long always accept BLs where he "grapes" someone and then the person forgives him because of some lame excuse he gives? This story should have been about the 2nd couple. The 2nd couple's NC was "holy crap" HOT, but even without that, their story is better than the 1st couples. The 2nc couples Doc's character was also changed, he isn't as self-assured/cocky as he was in the original trailers. The story would have been funnier if the original plot was done, now it seems to be working over time trying to be cute and funny.
Tired of BL's where someone gets graped (while they were asleep & cant remember it) & the graper is forgiven & then they fall in love. Whereas, someone stealing a (tap) kiss from a sleeping person is fashioned to mean unforgiveable terribleness for the kisser. Really? Also what kind of friends want the graper & the brother (of victim) to become friends again, excusing the graping part.
Who the hell wrote this & why the same trope with lackluster characters? Mild, Knight & Mud all seem to be waiting for someone to tell them how to feel and how to move in each scene; It's bad editing or bad (timing) acting. Now it's either, wait for the next episode for things to be cleared up, give up right now or wait till after the last episode drops to find out how this ended at least for the 2nd couple.

Grape plot ruined it.
There's no way its 2025 and there is a plot like *this*. This genuinely had so much potential.Apparently in the novel he does in fact ass*ult Mild in his sleep, idk if they changed it in the series or not--because I dropped it the moment they threw that bullshit in there.
There's nothing about it that's okay and the fact that there is people in the comments trying to justify it is really concerning, Do better.
The second couple is the best, hands down. The third--I really hope they got together because it was a cute dynamic. They could have 100% tossed that part out, or turned it into a sort of PSA as they did with the HIV and prEp side note from Kan's patient.
I am all for toxic BL's, give me the red flags of possessiveness and controlling behavior--they did not handle it tastefully.
Do yourself a favor and watch My Magic Prophecy or Dating game, they have actual plot and *consent*. If you want something more spicy I highly recommend the japanese adaptation to Love Sea called Love Sea: A Home For Lovers you get really good NC scenes and loads of consent.
I hope the MC's get decent scripts/roles in the future, I would love to see them really be able to show their acting skills.

I am in love with Long
The plot of this show is so bad but it’s so addictive so watch it lmao. I would give it an 8.3 so an 8 out of 10. I am gonna say what I liked, what I didn’t like, and then an overview, and just be warned this show is terrible but fun as fuck.LONGGGGG. BABY WHERE THE HELL IS MY HUSBAND? WHAT IS TAKING HIM SO LONG TO FIND MEEEEEE? I fear I am so in love with this man it is not healthy lmao. I would give my life for him. I started this for him and then fell in love with Arm and his sexy ass. Yeah, long is scary sexy and loves to play beater characters and this was no different. Oh my god, I am in love with him. I am gonna go make a screensaver for the two of them and then come back to this. Arm is also so sexy and he looks so innocent but HIS EYES ARE EVIL. They are so evil and so sexy. Oh my lord. Holy fuck. Okay, wait let me actually talk about the show. These two have killer fucking chemistry, JESUS CHRIST DUDE. They made this show bearable along with our second couple. Great chemistry all around. Uh, what else? Okay, hot fucking take, forest fire TAKE. I really thought that the rape scene was going to ruin it. TURNS OUT THE BROTHER FUCKING LIED ABOUT IT AND THAT WAS THE BIGGEST AND BEST PLOT TWIST IN THIS WHOLE SHOW. Insane. What else? I really like doctor and engineer shit, say what you all want about it being overdone, it is a phenomenal trope and I will die on that hill. And I think the sex scenes were great but people were sleeping on our main couple. Especially Arm. THOSE INNOCENT EYES BECAME SO EVILLLL. I am so obsessed with this show I can't even lie. I also love the love at first sight trope, perfect oh my lord.
What I didn’t like. There was literally zero plot in this. It was all just one big filler episode. The play was so much bullshit I thought I was going crazy, what the hell? The fact that they didnt execute the brother at the end for lying about something that bad and instead just faded him out. We should have killed him what the fuck? ALSO, THEY GAVE US NO BACKGROUND AT THE START AND ASSUMED WE KNEW EVERYTHING FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE SHOW. The whole reason why the two of them met was such a hard watch ass scene and I just remembered that and it is making me wanna dieeee. Yeah so if you ignore the plot, the random ass side couple (Mild’s friends), and basically everything this could be a fantastic show, but because you can't forget about those things, this show is hot dumpster fire but the dumpster fire is actually not a fire or a dumpster, and it's actually the friends we made along the fucking way. I do think the show gets better after the seventh episode but the first seven episodes are a hard fucking watch.
Overview time I guess. “This looks god awful, I can't wait. He has these sad siren eyes and I am addicted. I thought mild was being a pick me bitch but he just didn’t want his brother to get his ass beat lmao. This is the university of starting problems because aint no way. I feel like I randomly got dropped in a world that I know nothing about but I am here for it lol.” “Completely random Romeo and Juliet bs. I come to watch Thai dramas to avoid reading The Tempest and here I am met with more fucking Shakespeare. Lolll. I am so invested in the lore lmao.” “This show is ten counts of bull shit.” “If someone did this to me in front of the engineering department I'm lighting up the whole department on god, dont fuck with me bruh. The doctor in the second couple is legitimately so sexy. This show is pissing me all off.” “Okay wait they are kind of cute and I fear I'm just a hater. Why does Knight keep saying midly (see what I did there) creepy shit? Like mild run.” “Imagine if they didn’t keep forcing him to drink.” “I am lowkey starting to fuck with this show. I have no idea why the first like 7 episodes were shit, I'm lowkey getting into it now lmao.” “It's getting better or maybe I am becoming tone deaf to the shitness. Mayo is lowkey fine as fuck but gives me bad vibes. A random ass sequence of events that ended in a makeout scene in the hospital bed but I was right about Mayo. We lowkey haven't done anything in this show besides filler shit lmao.” “And just like that this ass show is over.”
A miserable show but its addictive to rewatch lmao. Okay bye!

Have good plot but writer messed it
I don’t know why this drama is such a mess. When he talks about childhood, Mild doesn’t even show a caring look. And when Mudd said he was raped, he didn’t even seem to know about it—but he believed it anyway. If he was really raped, shouldn’t he know? He wasn’t drunk or anything. What a joke! It feels like the writer just wanted to add drama for no reason and ended up writing a childish story.I’m sure the main lead couple is Kan and Per because their story is more focused and well-developed, unlike Knight and Mild. Honestly, I want to see more scenes of the third couple—they give real butterfly feelings!
The acting is bad, especially Mild’s—he completely fails to deliver emotions. Kan does a good job, and Per is okay. Tum is also good. As for the girls, there’s nothing much to say; only Grace is a bit okay. Actually, Knight is kind of a good actor—he did well in Love Syndrome—but here, he’s acting like a beginner.

Interesting idea but horribly lacking.
Let me start by saying I love all the actors in here they're really good actors from other serieses but Sally for this series it was horrible. The story the play out just did not work. The storyline was mediocre there was no real personal growth The chemistry was off and it focused more on weird obsession than actual love like you did not feel the chemistry that was there that should have been to show development and all the characters seemed very obsessive pushy to try to get into a relationships. Par was overly obsessive but the doctor especially him considering he's a playboy which just made no sense for the storyline for him to want to settle with the doctor they didn't really even give you a purpose behind the fact of he only had a one night stand with him and then he already had multiple girlfriends. Night was a little better with his relationship. But like I said the storyline was just very nonchalant and was very boring It could have been a lot better if the writers did a better job but clearly this was lacking and missing a lot from the beginning to end It was very off-putting it that I even found myself skipping parts cuz it was so boring. Too many unrealistic moments and too much cheating and playboying. Was this review helpful to you?
