Pretty fun to watch as Kian brings new element one after another episode.
I was just trying to see if it was watchable but got hooked into the Kian element with Jin and Ye-eun also adding to that effect. I have seen some revies here saying that it was unusual and the B&B was not safe for people but that's the Bizarre part of this show. If you just want to find fault in the show, there will be pretty unusual things for those people. So i would recommend to watch it with the intent of watching a bizarre comedy show. Was this review helpful to you?
Mad genius
Not sure if Kian84 is a mad genius or from another planet. This b&b is the most fantastic creation I’ve ever seen. Just when you think it can’t get any better…or worse, there’s a change you didn’t see coming which you probably should have expected.I recommend watching. Then rewatching it. Make sure you have some popcorn cuz you’ll need it.

Chaotic But Fun
I've lost count of how many times I cried from laughing. This show was incredibly unpredictable, and I just loved the chaos.I was kind of concerned for everyone's safety on the barge B&B, and my concern was proven right when Kian went flying into the fence, but he quickly fixed that problem so it wouldn't happen again to anyone else. He still made sure everyone else was okay, not just physically, but mentally as well. He cared for his guests and tried his best to make them comfortable.
Kian is an interesting guy, but he still showed us that he is a good host.
This show is so good that even my mother, who finds Asian shows/dramas to be weird, sat down to watch for a couple of minutes. Talk about a miracle!
So yeah, I would recommend this to everyone because it's that damn good.

Wholesome & Heartwarming!
This show was just so much fun and brought me so much happiness and joy! I found it really heartwarming to see the 3 staff members: Kian, Jin and Ye Eun do their absolute best to seriously run the B&B as well as make all the guests feel included and comfortable (as comfortable as they can be haha). I personally really liked the fact that the B&B is meant to be quirky and challenging and while I understand that it can be concerning sometimes, the whole concept behind it was to push people outside their comfort zone and make memories. And I definitely think that they were successful in this. It is also really heartwarming and even inspiring hearing about the guests back stories and seeing them bring their own energy and vibes to the environment. I also loved seeing the staff get really close to some of the guests in particular and seeing a lot of the guests even start to travel together and make day plans together after meeting at the B&B. Some guests especially had such amazing energy that I wish I could see more content with them! The only minor concern I had was with the comments about India, in terms of eating with hands. I do not think in any way that the idea that Indians eat with their hands was brought up with any malice, or anything outside of just Kian even wanting to share his excitment over the experiences he has had travelling India. However, I do think that there is a lot of nuance to that topic and that considering there are already so many stereotypes about India, the heavy focus on eating with their hands might have a negative impact as well. But on the other hand seeing the staff and the guests not make any insulting/negative comments and instead most of them accept it and even start to enjoy it, that was something I did really appreciate. So my feelings are a bit conflicted on it to be honest. However in terms of Korean (or any) media and entertainment as a whole, I do wish that when applicable they are able to show more accurate representations of not only India but other countries around the world.
That concern however does not take away from my overall enjoyment of the show and I will definitely be rewatching when I need something wholesome and funny! Truly I really enjoyed watching this show and it brought me lots of laughter and heartwarming moments.

Chaotic and hilarious
What makes Kian’s Bizarre B&B such a great watch is the cast chemistry and the way Kian84’s unpredictable behaviour sometimes leads to the weirdest scenarios you’d never imagine on a variety show. His spontaneous ideas and eccentric personality create a kind of chaotic magic that makes the show both extremely funny and completely unforeseeable. You never know what the next project is going to be or how it’s going to play out—it’s chaotic, it’s hilarious, and it’s somehow still heartwarming. One moment they’re attempting a
To figure out how to work out the annex, and its smaller issues, and the next Kian84 is knee-deep in a completely unplanned art installation or deciding on leaving out utensils. The beauty of it is in how the rest of the cast reacts, not only the staff Jin and Ye Eun but also the guests: sometimes confused, sometimes fully committed, but always entertaining. Whether it’s the quiet camaraderie between guests or the absurdity of their group dynamics, there’s always something oddly charming about the whole mess.
And underneath the wackiness, there’s this raw sincerity—like everyone’s genuinely trying to make something meaningful, even if it ends up being ridiculous. That balance of comedy, unpredictability, and unexpected depth is what makes Kian’s Bizarre B&B such a unique and rewatchable gem. If you’re tired of formulaic variety shows, this one will hit you like a delightful fever dream you didn’t know you needed.

Shocking living conditions give way to bonding & an unexpected hero
well "bizarre" is right but it was Kian, not the B&B that was bizarre! From bad hygiene to using his shorts (that he was wearing) as a sort of kangaroo pouch to carry odd things [like an eating bowl ] we get to see him realize that the fun house (s) he imagined are in reality impractical & a pain to navigate, much less live in. He's not actually that funny, yet he laughs off each of his many misstep, while the poor guests plaster on smiles because they are on camera. For his age (40?) he came off childish & not in a cute way. Things get better as the episodes go on, but this is a specific kind of humor that you either enjoy or loath. Ji Ye Eun spends the majority of the show laughing to mask her discomfort & it gets old REAL fast. Her shrieks that are a prelude to a laugh are grating & she does it over & over & over & over again. Thankfully by the last few episodes she's too fatigued to do more than emit a weak chuckle. Netflix (seemingly) chose the guests & they did a decent job, except when they added a chubby guest who must have felt humiliated to find himself needing alot of assistance with climbing a rock wall as well as a fireman's pole. Kian & Ji Ye Eun don't actually have the personalities to pull off a show like this on thier own. What with the bathroom cleaning getting way too much screen time [& supposedly being comedic ???] and people gagging in a smoke filled rooms due to lack of kitchen venting (???? why) this show could have tanked if not for the unexpected blindingly capable Kim Seok Jin. He's rarely shown a mature side (except infrequently in BTS's In the Soop" series) & even though he's the eldest of his group, he's not even the leader of BTS. Seeing him step up & become the "adult" one was not something I anticipated. He really gives it his all here & works hard to give the guests good food & a good time. He's also the one who insists that Kian not cut corners for the sake of comfort, but stay with his original rules for the B&B [as he knows a good bit about what people are interested in watching {from experience!} ] sadly, You get the feeling that this might be a dreadful nightmare for him as he gets a bit of military de ja vu - 24/7 no privacy [even in his sleep] Cooking, cleaning & doing a whole lot of back breaking physical activity . The last few episodes have him rather haggard & clearly pushing himself to the finish line . Really, he is the glue that holds this show together & why the show works. He endearingly underplays his celebrity status & tries hard to make the people around him comfortable. Cooking, cleaning, serving, & putting up with Kian & Ji Ye Eun would test anyone's patience & he comes out looking like a hero .Was this review helpful to you?
It's unpredictable and awesome to watch.
I didn't expect this would make me like kian. I just watch this in the first place because of Jin but now i really really love Kian84 and his staff, also the guest. This series gives your emotions up and down. This is really worth it to watch. I hope there's more episode that i will see kian. I'm a fan after watching this. This series gives you an excitement and feels like a child again to dream like what kian did.Was this review helpful to you?
Definitely worth watching! I loved it!
I know Kian84 from I Live Alone and I know how unpredictable he can be so I was curious about what he can do, also I am one big Army as well so when I heard Jin was going to be there, I just HAD to watch it. But it has completely exceeded my expectations! I knew that whatever Jin was going to do, it would have been authentic, hilarious and sweet at the same time, but the Jin, Kian and Ji Ye Eun combo was amazing. The sister-brother relationship and Jin being completely set on following the rules and making sure that no compromise could take place was honestly hilarious. And I loved how they bonded with each guest, and how they made sure to get their stories in too. Totally recommended. Was this review helpful to you?

Bizarre, Bonkers, and Beautiful — A Vacation I’ll Never Forget (Even Though I Wasn’t There)
Kian’s Bizarre B&B is exactly what it promises: completely out of the ordinary but full of heart. It’s not just a vacation show — it’s a weird, whimsical dream set on a barge in the middle of the sea, with fire poles, wall-climbing entrances, slides into the ocean, and hanging beds outdoors. Even the backup B&B is wild, requiring a scenic 7.5-minute monorail ride down a mountain slope. It’s like someone opened up a manhwa artist’s sketchbook and said, “Yeah, build that.”What makes this show unforgettable is the cast and guests. Kian84, YeEun, and Jin were new faces to me, but they created a warm, chaotic energy that worked surprisingly well. And the guests? A perfect mix. The shy, studious student. The father-sons trio. Energetic jobseekers. A brave North Korean defector. Solo travelers. A couple in love. Navy officers on leave. Everyone brought something different — their stories, laughs, awkwardness, and even the tears gave the B&B heart and depth. Their stories added depth and warmth that made the B&B feel like more than just a gimmick.
Yes, there were flaws—some parts were downright unsafe or inconvenient—but maybe that’s part of the charm. It pushed everyone out of their comfort zones and into a once-in-a-lifetime memory. Sure, there were hazards (smoky annex, shaky pole, chaotic slide), and yes, Kian’s hygiene habits raised a few brows — but that’s what made it so human. Watching this made me feel like I was right there with them. It was strange, it was beautiful, and I’d do it all over again — even just from my screen. Bring on Season 2, Netflix. I’m already packed.

Molto carino! Aspettiamo una seconda stagione dello show! Spero che tutti avranno una vita felice! Was this review helpful to you?

See you season 2!
