Chaotic Fun, But Rough Around the Edges
Kian’s Bizarre B&B is exactly what the title promises - a strange, offbeat, and at times hilariously chaotic variety show that blends celebrity charm with social awkwardness. The biggest draw here is the chemistry between the cast. Jin, despite his global fame, slips comfortably into the awkward, low-budget mayhem that defines the show. He’s funny, unexpectedly sharp, and brings a grounded warmth to the mess. Kian84, with his eccentric ideas and strange logic, drives most of the unpredictability. Ji Ye-eun, while more reserved, adds a balancing energy and is gradually warming up.
What really works is the unpredictability. You never know what kind of random “project” Kian will suggest next.
However, the show feels more awkward than entertaining in the early episodes. The pacing drags at times, with scenes that feel under-edited or stretched too thin. There’s a sense of disorganization - not the fun kind, but the frustrating kind.
The editing also deserves critique. There’s little rhythm or narrative flow. Instead of a cozy slice-of-life vibe, it sometimes feels like a YouTube vlog that hasn’t been tightened up for broadcast.
Still, there are moments of quiet humor, genuine warmth, and unexpected hilarity. It is worth checking out. It's a variety show that doesn’t try too hard to impress; it just lets the chaos unfold. And that’s oddly refreshing.

A heartfelt blend of humor & adventure
I really liked Kian’s Bizarre B&B. It’s a funny variety show but unique from others. I didn’t watch this because of BTS’s Jin, i just found it on Netflix. Also Ji Ye-eun is really cute and funny!!Overall, it’s a feel-good, visually stunning experience that’s perfect for anyone in need of a pick-me-up. The mix of laughter and sincerity makes it an engaging watch, and it’s no surprise that it’s already being warmly received by fans. If you’re looking for something unique, this show definitely deserves a spot on your watchlist.

A cosy show that you slowly warm up to
I started watching this show out of boredom, it was suggested to me on Netflix. I recognized Jin from Bts on the thumbnail, I'm no longer an Army but I still remain fond of that group. And I knew the man was perfect for Variety shows. So it was a plus value to watch it.But my fondness for the man won't change my way of judging and rating a show. I didn't know Kian and Ji Ye Eun, the other members of the cast. They were a surprise to me in many ways.
On the negative side:
The first episodes made me want to watch more but more out of curiosity than real interest. I previously commented in the comment section on how Kian's idea to design his B&B excluded sick and disabled people by making the access to the house too difficult and more prone to accident. Not to mention the horrible fireplace in the annex in the mountain.
It's the perfect way to start a forest fire or cause carbon monoxide poisoning.
Kian himself admitted he didn't expect a family to come to his B&B. I guess he only expected healthy young people to come, that shows a mindset that doesn't think deeply but rashly. And it's shown throughout the show, he acts rashly, putting stuff in his shorts while climbing and gifting it to a guest. He's like a wild cat in many ways, he does what goes through his mind and creates thing based on his experiences. He doesn't do more research. I didn't appreciate it.
The climbing stuff and that pole looked fun when you first glance at it, and I saw how some guests were enthusiast to try it. But for some, it was a difficult task. It was still nice to see how others helped those who had difficulties.
I also wasn't fond of Ji Ye Eun's first try to drive a boat as a captain, with her giving up the command and curling up in a ball while the other helmsman took charge in her place. I thought it was irresponsible, reckless, dangerous, and too prone to cause an accident, there were other people there at that time.
Another negative point was that we weren't shown enough about the guests. The show did a thorough casting for the guests, I expected to learn more about them, their lives, their experiences and stories but besides the story about the father, which was sad, the story about the North Korean defector, sad story too, and the one with the couple, a happy one, nothing else was given. It only seemed as though the climbing team, the jobless team, and the sailor team went one after the other to help the cast members. And I was right on thinking this whole design was solely for healthy sporty people, they were there to help the other guests who had difficulties with climbing or using the pole.
The production team are not stupid when they casted those guests. I wanted to know more about the female guests's lives, maybe because I'm a woman, but I found some interesting, the architect student and the dancers, one of them was hella funny and a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately, they weren't shown that much.
On the positive side:
The cast members had a perfect chemistry. Their flaws and qualities mixed perfectly well.
Kian was clumsy but he showed a soft side and his way to worry over the guests was endearing.
Ye Eun might have been a constant grumpy scaredy cat but she still did what she had to do. She got better at driving the boat, she was funny when she tried to cheat by going up the slide instead of climbing to get inside the house. Her constant banter with Kian and Jin was funny too (the fight over salty or sweet soy noodles lmao) . And I thought it was hilarious how she decided to constantly wear that "BAD DAY" pajama while Jin was wearing the "GOOD DAY" one.
Girl was grumpy lol XD.
I also liked when Kwak Joon Bin came to replace Kian who had to film elsewhere. It was funny to see how worried Kian looked like while all the other guests and cast members were having a blast and having their own personal concert without him. What a way to go XD.
As for Jin, this man is a veteran, his experience is shown throughout the entire show. I don't think the show would have had the same success without him. And it's not a biased opinion. What did he do that made the show a success?
He defended Kian's ideas no matter the circumstances and the critiscism, and helped to organise everything in the house. If he had opposed his ideas, not only it would have shown conflicts among the cast members, but the viewers would have seen it, that would create bad publicity. And it would have also questioned the main purpose of this show. It's Kian's bizarre B&B, people have to enter his weird world that he creates, and go through that experience.
I may criticize Kian's ideas, but I'm a viewer, I consume the product and I give a feedback on it. It's different from someone who is in the show.
The teamwork between the guests and the cast members was also a very positive and endearing point. No one blamed the other when something went wrong. They kept everything at peace. I appreciate it greatly.
The end was good, with the fireworks over the sea. The entire scenery in this show was breathtaking, the mountains, the sea, the food. Everything made you want to go there and do some tourism, that was my main thought.
I give some thoughts towards the father and his two sons, I hope this show will be a cherished memory for them. I loved seeing Kian's soft side for them. Same for the North Korean defector. Cooking North Korean food for him made me smile a lot.
To conclude, I was quite cold during the early episodes of that show, but later on, I slowly warmed up to it. I'd say, give it a chance when you feel like relaxing and discovering something new. Don't expect much but cosy warmth.

Jin makes it worth the watch
I watched since a friend loves Jin. I figured I'd watch so they could have someone to talk to about the show.Kian's "cleanliness" would have made me drop the show. The amount of times I screamed at my TV about this was concerning.
If it weren't for Jin the whole place would have fallen apart. He's added another fan to the millions he already has.
My favorite was guest was the guy from North Korea. Watching him juxtaposed with the job seekers was entertaining. I love that Jin found someone his age to have a second with.

"A-drift" idea with suprising warmth
This show takes some warming up to. Episode 1 was pretty rough and slow, and episode 2 starts to pick it up from there and keeps going. There were a few things that really bothered me at first, and Kian came off as being thoughtless in how he designed everything. In the first few episodes, Kian really gave off a sense of incompetence rather than a sense of whimsy, which I think was what he was going for. Kian (his unhygenic ways) and Ye Eun (her constant screams) really irritated me at first due to their seemingly lack of thought and carelessness, but they really grew on me through out the series. They had a different approach to things, but Kian's heart is warm and it shows, and Ye Eun had a sense of responsibility. Jin really did hold everything together though. Without him, I don't think it would have been as enjoyable.
Jin getting frustrated with certain aspects of the design and Kian's approach showed but what was admirable was his mentality to everything. Even though he was tired and had complaints, he still enforced the original dream and vision that Kian had, even though he had many opportunities to take the easy way out. Jin truly was the glue that held it all together.
The various guests on the show were really adorable, and I was sad to see the rock climbing team leave. I wished we got to hear more about the female guests, but it seems that the show focused mainly on the male guests and the female guests were just there as window dressing. The carpenter and the swimmer were the most interesting to me and I really wish I got to hear more about their stories but they were just glossed over.
Overall, this was a chaotic ride throughout with moments of quiet warmth and fun.

Can't wait for Season 2!
I didn't know what to expect but I decided to give one episode a try simply because of the crazy and fun look of the B&B itself. I just finished the series and the only negative thing I have to say is that it was too short. (It wasn't, I just really enjoyed it.) Although I know who Jin is, I'm not ARMY and wasn't familiar with Kian84 or Ye-eun prior, so I recommend this show for anyone to watch, not just their fans.On another note, I love that the show highlights how beautiful the natural landscape of South Korea is. It has so much to offer outside of Seoul and the more well-known vacay destinations (eg. Jeju-do).

Healing through oddities
To preface my review, I did start watching it because of Jin, however after the first half of the first episode I was hooked by all of the people who showed up. Also so far I've seen the three episodes that have been released. This show is nothing that you could ever imagine happening. It's silly, it's weird, it has it's unique twists, however, there is no way that you can see them coming.
The way the three hosts do their best to give their guests as good as an experience they can considering the circumstances is admirable. I could watch all of them working together infinitely.
If you need a show that will pick up your spirits even a little bit, watch this. I promise you will feel a lot better after it.

An Unexpected Emotional Flotilla of a Ride!
Kian is awesome! What a ride and to have Jin on board is super fantastic. From producer Jung Hyo-min who gave us Hyori's Bed and Breakfast, get ready for an unexpected emotional flotilla of a ride! For fans of Kian, there are lots of ‘Kian-esque’ features in the B&B! Jin really is a superstar who gives anything a try and is cutest when he calls out ‘Boss’ all the time.
Such an oddball setup but with all the good feels you could want. It’s a relaxing watch even tho it looks quite stressful lol relaxing because I’m watching from the comfort of my home and laughing at what he, his two fabulous staff members, the part-timer lol and guests have to go through.
The Ha Family story was heartbreakingly inspirational, get ready to grab a tissue.
Fun and moving to the end. I’ll look forward to season 2.

i have to be honest, i didn't know what to expect when i started this bc i only wayched it for jin. but eventually enjoyed it! so nice to see the guests so happy despite the "ilogical" b&b kian built lol and the bonds they formed was so nice!i js hoped that the other guests got to see the fireworks show at the end, and was able to say good bye when they were finally closing! like the wall climbing group, the archi student, the job seekers group, and also the very first batch of guests (i forgot their group name, lol)! kjsjsjs
hoping for s2 real soon!

Mad genius
Not sure if Kian84 is a mad genius or from another planet. This b&b is the most fantastic creation I’ve ever seen. Just when you think it can’t get any better…or worse, there’s a change you didn’t see coming which you probably should have expected.I recommend watching. Then rewatching it. Make sure you have some popcorn cuz you’ll need it.

Pure Joy...
...is what this Show brought to me. Pure feelings of Fun an Joy. Nothing made me more laugh this year and i am deeply thankful for that!It was a truly wonderful Mixture of Adventure, Chaos, bright Colors, Laughter, Friendship, Entertainment, Support, Food, Journey, Nature, Education and Profoundness. I loved EVERYTHING about it.
I didn't knew any of them before, but was so surprised how wonderful their chemistry worked together. Never ever imagined how strong, helpful, fun and down to earth a "worldstar" would act, in a show like this. Just a guy from around the neighborhood. ;)
I wish him the chance to stay and live that way, so down to earth, somewhere in the future.
I'm sad that i finished the last episode right now but can't wait to see more! :-)))
