across as cringey or over the top. Two different characters.. Pheem cruel manipulive and Than
so in love with Pheem he would have gone to the ends of the earth for him. Anyone in their sane mind would have walked away. Being manipulative
cruel.. deceitful.. using someone to get what they want didn't bother me at all in this BL. Life isn't always rosy.As for Chet the brother I actually turned the sound down when he appeared because the overreacting and his screaming and ranting really was a turn off.. The series lived up to its name "Wicked Game" The title said it all so I knew it would nt be a walk in the park.. Shame it had so many negative comments because I've watched a lot worse than The Wicked Game. Loved the series.
Everyone gave their all.. Will I watch it again Yes.

The story itself had a lot of potential at the beginning, but I feel like it didn't live up to it. I mean, at the end everything was almost useless and there was not much satisfaction as a viewer: Than didn't get do take back his job (completely unfair), every villain died (kinda disappointing, cause at the end of the day nobody got to face consequences), the hospital...well I don't even know what happened with that. Then why give such a high grade? I don't know. There's something in the story and the acting, that somehow got me waiting every week for the episode. And every week I enjoyed it. It's true, the ending isn't the best and there are some holes in the plot, but it's also true that I liked the drama overall.Of course, the love here is not something that you can anyhow want (pheem shot Than twice, of course that wouldn't be okay in real life), but in this drama it worked. I got to sympathise with the main characters, especially Than, and thank to the acting it was also easier to understand what each of them was thinking. They aren't simple characters: Pheem seriously needs a psychologist (and some jail time tbh) and Than...well he needs a psychologist too. Jokes (or almost) aside, they had both a pretty good development, that made it easier to understand them (not agreeing with them: just understanding).
It shows that eventually, what really matters, are the people that you love (and that love you). Revenge? Well it just causes more pain, for everybody.

Justifies decline of series eaach episode
It was ok till 7th & 8th episode but after that it seems like main character wanted to kill themselves by putting themselves in front of gun. All main character being so fierce full and strong that can fight with entire gang suddenly became so weak to fight with girls in last episode was such a bull shit. Also it seems 1 to 1 men were not able to fight with each women and specially letting go your enemy when u have gun on her head was literally crap. It clearly show director has no talent and was trying to extend the time by dragging episode. Such a waste of good drama that started n good note.OMG that last episode is literally dragging story by showing 50% of scenes repeatedly from pervious episodes.
CHET + PARKP HOOM perfect story. Only positive in last episode.
Please dot watch it/ its waste of time as you would expect a very good plot til end but it does not deliver what should have.
Its waste of time with high expectation.

Good entertainment
This drama is held up by acting!Tge story is typical but not boring, you are held captive to know what's coming next.
Most of characters are bad people, but money and piwer does that sooo very credible.
The love story is quite good but some cliche and too much forgiveness, but it's beautiful to see.
I recommend to make your own opinion on this, and you'll see it's not as bad as people say.
Yes many plot holes and questions unanswered, but it doesn't tarnish the quality of the show .
Musique is good
Acting is good (except the gun parts, theses were the worst to be honest, fighting were well done, but why nobody able to shoot correctly? That was funny)

Something different from their previous series. Good job!
Something different from their previous series and their acting has improved significantly. Most importantly, no cringy moment or awkward scenes at all. Everything feels natural and convincing, especially their facial expressions, emotions and strong chemistry. So far the story plot is interesting, engaging and unpredictable. Waiting excitedly for more amazing episodes to come!!!!!Was this review helpful to you?
Budget KinnPorsche
It's budget KinnPorsche, not entierly the same plot, but with many similarities just in a smaller not as well produced manner. At first a was having a real good time despite the no so great quality there was something quite entertaining about this series. For a hero or in this case anti-hero to be truly admirable his opponents have to be grander and more powerful than they are and the villains in this story delivered every time, they're much more powerful, calculating, meticulous and ruthless which makes you want to root for Pheem. Although it's a revenge drama mostly action driven it's got some really good comedy moments thrown in. The fight choreography was pretty O.k, the gun fights on the other hand were bad to the point that I giggled every time a gun was fired.
I was having a good time I truly was until episode 7 I wad driven mad by rage and don't even want to know how it ends, I was rooting for that little maniac, making ecuses for him but he lost me, I cannot forgive him and I do not want Than to forgive him either so, I quit, I'm out . I loved Offroad in this villainous manly role and I would love to see him as THE Villain in something better or another anti-hero that I could actually root for.
I think might go rewatch Century of Love, the only series staring this two that's actually worth watching to see if it helps me forget this crap exists.

If you are looking for the "WICKED" game - you are at the RIGHT place
After watching a bit more than half of the series, I wanted to write this review, after reading a bit of comments about it.Personally, I do like it a lot, because the best thing about the series is it's thrill.
The series "the WICKED GAME" stands up to it' name and almost none of the main characters follow the CLASSICAL, "kind hearted good personality role", and it kind of sucks. But, I guess that is what it wanted to deliver in the first place, so it is doing it really well. I think it makes the series more realistic and true to human nature.
YES, it does not have much of the typical love scenes, but the STORY is engaging enough, and frankly speaking out of all the Thai BL series realizes in 2025, it is among the only two series which gets me to sit on the edge of the chair out of excitement for the next episode.

I honestly didn’t expect the last two episodes to make me cry, but they did. This series was a real rollercoaster of emotions. Pheem & Than: After watching his mother get murdered, Pheem grew up hating the rest of his family and obsessing over revenge. His cold, calculating attitude is just armor to hide how vulnerable he really is. He’s manipulative and driven by vengeance, and while his choices are questionable, I couldn’t help but sympathize with his pain and even understand him at times. Meeting Than again reminds him that kindness, gentleness, and real love still exist. Than’s patience and moral integrity slowly help Pheem realize what truly matters in life. If Pheem is cold and calculating, Than is emotionally vulnerable and that’s what makes him so captivating. He trusts too easily, almost naively, but behind that soft smile is a man desperate for redemption, trying to rebuild the reputation he lost as a police officer, his lifelong dream. Both were betrayed by the same family, which makes their bond even stronger. Their relationship evolves from bodyguard and heir into something much deeper that changes both of their lives. And let’s be real, Daou and Offroad’s chemistry is undeniable, amazing, and easily the biggest pillar of the series.
Risa: She’s the character I loved to hate. I get her struggle to be seen and respected in a patriarchal world that values power above all else, but I couldn’t feel sympathy for her. She’s cruel, and behind that deceptively sweet facade, she’s hands down the most manipulative and ruthless of the siblings, pulling all the strings and playing them against each other. I can’t say I was sad about her ending. Huge kudos to Mo Monchanok though, she nailed it.
Chet & Park: If Risa was the one I loved to hate, Chet was the one I loved to love. I didn’t expect to sympathize with him so much. He’s definitely not a good person, but he’s not cruel either. He’s insecure, and behind his desperate obsession with becoming the heir, he’s really just a scared little boy craving love from his domineering mother and cold, indifferent father. Because of that insecurity, he’s the easiest to manipulate of the three siblings. Maybe he’s the only one who truly wanted a real family. And in a way, he found that with Park. Park’s selfless, generous love is the small beacon of clarity and comfort in Chet’s chaotic life. Despite all their flaws, they deserved a better ending.

short review: Tears, Twists, and Timeless Performances.
I would say this is one of the best dramas I’ve watched. Some people don’t enjoy this type of genre because it’s filled with manipulation, trauma, and heavy emotions that can feel overwhelming. But at the end of the day, it’s just a story written by the author, and the actors are simply following the script. What makes it so captivating is how well they perform—their chemistry feels natural, and every scene draws you in.What I love most is the suspense. Each episode leaves you wondering what will happen next, making it impossible not to stop watching. The twists and turns are unpredictable, and the way the characters interact adds depth to the storyline. Even when the plot gets dark, the acting and direction make it worth following. It’s the kind of drama that keeps you thinking long after the episode ends, and that’s what makes it truly unforgettable.
I cried a lot, especially during the last episode. I thought it would end a certain way, but it turned out completely different, which made it even more emotional. The storyline is excellent, and every actor did an amazing job bringing their characters to life.

frustrating games...
This was a bland boring drama where there is minimal character development and plot progression. The characters are unidimensional who swing between screaming, scheming and betraying. Also dont start with me about the father charcter, winner of the worst father of the year award. If anyone is planning to watch this drama because of their love for the lead pair, just keep it in check as this drama can test your patience. this drama is a step down for the lead pair who was fantastic in Century of Love, the story runs in circles like a headless chicken and the audience is made to run along it.
Its a shame that both the leads brought their A game for such a poorly written and sloppily produced drama. One can categorise it under a lakorn but it fails to measure up to that.
Hoping DaouOffroad lands better projects in future... certainly not another hot mess like this.

I was hyped at first but I lost focus on it after a few weeks. I kept watching it only because of DaouOffRoad (And because I don't usualy drop). Too much happening for my dumb brain (and maybe I wasn't in the right mood to follow this story)
Obviously the actors are all great and the chemistry is on top.
