Could have been one of the biggest BLs of all time if they had better budget
It was definitely a roller-coaster ride with really complex characters. Plot wise it was definitely interesting, not too new but at the same time brought something big twists in the table. My only issue is the budget and the lakhorn like execution.Plot was interesting to watch. Few dynamics and turns were recycled but it definitely bought something new to the table with the main character just not being dumbly toxic but actually having some real negative layers. He actually made me question if I wasn't this couple to end up together or not. Another thing I loved about the character dynamics is how Than knew since the beginning Pheem is using him. It was a very realistic move. The plot definitely had gaps to fill if they bought more elements into the storyline along with focusing on the business and family issue. It just needed 2 more episodes. Some things I felt we didn't get enough time to explore. But overall this is definitely one of my favorite plots simply for the negative character portrayals.
Cinematography wise I loved the color grading and that is probably the only thing I liked because where is the budget? I saw few BTS and I swear the director and the crew put a lot of effort but why the low budget for such high tension drama? Some of the shooting scenes were pretty crap. The way it is filled remind me so much of Thai Lakhorn however they need to remember this is more of a action romance series, the sope opera ending isn't gonna give it the feel. The execution is what held me back from giving it a 10/10 and it is such missed opportunity.
Acting wise it was mind-blowing. While Daou Offoad showed a completely new style and proved their capabilities I specially want to mention Tong. What a phenomenal actor. Every scene he was in, he showcased great emotions nd delivered. The entire cast was great.
Honestly the dram definitely had it's moment of shine and shortcomings but if you enjoy "not cute" dramas give it a shot. I enjoyed it though however I have to say it would have gone even bigger if it was released under a company like BOC with DaouOff and a great cinematography..

?????
This drama is SOOOOOO laws of attraction coded.. I don’t want to spoil too much but ep 2 is basically a copy of the beginning of laws of attraction lmaoooo. I loved laws of attraction so I’m sure I’m gonna like this but so far it’s pretty goodddd!! I’ll update when I’m done watching it hehe🤭🤭 update: ummm… it’s fine. DaouOffroad will make any series good but this one idkkkk. If I was Than, I wouldve NEVER forgiven pheem.. the story is decent, I just don’t understand why they had to include what pheem did, I think we would’ve been fine with Than getting mad over the store but now it’s the store and this?? I thought it was insanely unnecessary. But hey they’re such a good pairing, acting is 10/10 but the story is a bit eh. IT IS very similar to laws of attraction, like insanely similar to the point where it’s a bit concerning LOL, it’s just a little more toxic lol.Was this review helpful to you?
So trashy it's a ton of fun to watch!
This series was a wild ride.I don't look for Oscar award winning acting performances, but some of the acting in this was really bad & over the top.
The writing made no sense at a lot of points, the musical score was repetitive and unimaginative. Let's not even start with the special effects & fight scenes...
Chet as a character especially was terrible & I found myself laughing whenever he appeared on screen.
I do want to commend Offroad for really exuding aura & confidence as Pheem in the first ⅔ of the series. It made him incredibly attractive & he had great chemistry with his romantic scene partners.
All in all I was incredibly entertained by the series & laughed a lot almost every episode.
So to me it's so bad that it's kinda good.
Will definitely be inviting a bunch of friends and watching this with them.

across as cringey or over the top. Two different characters.. Pheem cruel manipulive and Than
so in love with Pheem he would have gone to the ends of the earth for him. Anyone in their sane mind would have walked away. Being manipulative
cruel.. deceitful.. using someone to get what they want didn't bother me at all in this BL. Life isn't always rosy.As for Chet the brother I actually turned the sound down when he appeared because the overreacting and his screaming and ranting really was a turn off.. The series lived up to its name "Wicked Game" The title said it all so I knew it would nt be a walk in the park.. Shame it had so many negative comments because I've watched a lot worse than The Wicked Game. Loved the series.
Everyone gave their all.. Will I watch it again Yes.

Wickedly Unimpressed
I was expecting something wickedly good because I really enjoyed DaouOffroad in Century Of Love. Acting-wise, they delivered. The chemistry between them was undeniable, as always. No doubt about that but the story itself wasn’t so great.Seeing Pheem wreak havoc everywhere wasn't exactly a surprise, given the title of the show. However, what really got under my skin was Than's character being such a pushover. I mean, Mr. Ex-Cop, have some self-respect, dude! After getting shot twice and nearly buried alive, I'd have expected him to have some sense of self-preservation and leave Pheem's toxic ass behind for GOOD. Never gonna happen because it a bl after all.
Pheem's character was cruel towards Than, to say the least. The way he manipulated Than was nothing short of emotional abuse. I mean, how do you keep breaking someone over and over again? And don't even get me started on how Pheem fakes his death and once again makes Than into a mess, only to return with a lame explanation and Than goes, "I love you". Lmao, bro is a real masochist. I couldn't help but feel that Pheem should be grateful that Than loved him enough to forgive him every single time.
The family drama was exhausting to watch. The dad was a piece of work. The way he delivered hot slaps every two seconds was just abusive.
And then there's Jet, who was just a hot mess. His overreacting every five seconds had me pulling my hair out. I mean, come on, dude, get a grip! Yelling and throwing tantrums like a 5-year-old? Be for real. I was relieved when his dad sent him away for a while, it gave my ears a break from his ear-piercing screams. On the other hand, I did enjoy the dynamic between Jet and Park. There was definitely something going on between them that was more than just a boss-employee relationship. There was something.
As for the sister, yeah, let's just leave it at that. She’s not worth discussing.
What really took the cake was the shooting scenes. Oh. My. Days. What were they thinking? If bullets are going to be flying around every episode, at least make it somewhat realistic. The cartoonish shooting scenes were laughable, to say the least. It took me out of the story and made me cringe more often than not. I mean, come on, if you're going to do action, do it right.
Was this wicked? Yes. But was it great? Not really. Just okay. I just expected more from a DaouOffroad show. Gave this an overall score of 7.0 because of the chemistry between the leads.

The story itself had a lot of potential at the beginning, but I feel like it didn't live up to it. I mean, at the end everything was almost useless and there was not much satisfaction as a viewer: Than didn't get do take back his job (completely unfair), every villain died (kinda disappointing, cause at the end of the day nobody got to face consequences), the hospital...well I don't even know what happened with that. Then why give such a high grade? I don't know. There's something in the story and the acting, that somehow got me waiting every week for the episode. And every week I enjoyed it. It's true, the ending isn't the best and there are some holes in the plot, but it's also true that I liked the drama overall.Of course, the love here is not something that you can anyhow want (pheem shot Than twice, of course that wouldn't be okay in real life), but in this drama it worked. I got to sympathise with the main characters, especially Than, and thank to the acting it was also easier to understand what each of them was thinking. They aren't simple characters: Pheem seriously needs a psychologist (and some jail time tbh) and Than...well he needs a psychologist too. Jokes (or almost) aside, they had both a pretty good development, that made it easier to understand them (not agreeing with them: just understanding).
It shows that eventually, what really matters, are the people that you love (and that love you). Revenge? Well it just causes more pain, for everybody.

Justifies decline of series eaach episode
It was ok till 7th & 8th episode but after that it seems like main character wanted to kill themselves by putting themselves in front of gun. All main character being so fierce full and strong that can fight with entire gang suddenly became so weak to fight with girls in last episode was such a bull shit. Also it seems 1 to 1 men were not able to fight with each women and specially letting go your enemy when u have gun on her head was literally crap. It clearly show director has no talent and was trying to extend the time by dragging episode. Such a waste of good drama that started n good note.OMG that last episode is literally dragging story by showing 50% of scenes repeatedly from pervious episodes.
CHET + PARKP HOOM perfect story. Only positive in last episode.
Please dot watch it/ its waste of time as you would expect a very good plot til end but it does not deliver what should have.
Its waste of time with high expectation.

Good entertainment
This drama is held up by acting!Tge story is typical but not boring, you are held captive to know what's coming next.
Most of characters are bad people, but money and piwer does that sooo very credible.
The love story is quite good but some cliche and too much forgiveness, but it's beautiful to see.
I recommend to make your own opinion on this, and you'll see it's not as bad as people say.
Yes many plot holes and questions unanswered, but it doesn't tarnish the quality of the show .
Musique is good
Acting is good (except the gun parts, theses were the worst to be honest, fighting were well done, but why nobody able to shoot correctly? That was funny)

unpopular opinion
While it was interesting to see Offroad in a villain role and you can see the actors have improved a bit in their craft, I stopped at ep 7 or 8. I get dark characters, dark storylines, and I love them. What I'm so tired of in the BL genre is romance shown through manipulation, abuse, and in this case a main character (Peem) shooting another (Than). On TWO different occasions. Peem is extremely manipulative and cruel. But then Peem shoots Than and leaves him to be buried. (and cries about it while holding a plushie later ... seriously?) I had a feeling that it would only be followed with them getting back together and getting married. So I stopped. It made me nauseous. Can we *please* show some reality with this sort of storyline, or don't show it at all. It is irresponsible on the part of the writers and producers to not show what happened for what it is = domestic violence and attempted murder. Than went through the unbelievably serious trauma of the person he loved trying to kill him, and yet it is treated like a blip on their romantic radar. 100% not what a character should run back to with an audience of young people, full stop. I know that these series sometimes require viewers to suspend what is real. However, it's infuriating to see so many viewers seeing this show as romantic and swoon-worthy. I worry sometimes that younger watchers are internalizing this shit as acceptable for themselves and others. Was this review helpful to you?

If you are looking for the "WICKED" game - you are at the RIGHT place
After watching a bit more than half of the series, I wanted to write this review, after reading a bit of comments about it.Personally, I do like it a lot, because the best thing about the series is it's thrill.
The series "the WICKED GAME" stands up to it' name and almost none of the main characters follow the CLASSICAL, "kind hearted good personality role", and it kind of sucks. But, I guess that is what it wanted to deliver in the first place, so it is doing it really well. I think it makes the series more realistic and true to human nature.
YES, it does not have much of the typical love scenes, but the STORY is engaging enough, and frankly speaking out of all the Thai BL series realizes in 2025, it is among the only two series which gets me to sit on the edge of the chair out of excitement for the next episode.

The dirty bum, bum, bum, bum, bum
A whole family of dirty fucking bums. I don't even know how to feel about this show. I can't even lie, it was so bad. This is a skippable show, I can't lie to y'all. There was way too much happening, but also nothing, so watch if you want. I would give it an 8 (8.4) out of 10. I am going to say what I liked, what I didn't, and then do an episode overview.Offroad was sick of his submissive, cute roles and said I want to be evil, but not normal evil, just downright diabolically evil. And you know what, I was obsessed with it, and I think that he did a great job. Too great of a job, I fear. Everyone did a great job with acting because I was so fucking pissed the entire time, lmao. OFF LOOKED GOOD IN THIS. I might just be into evil-looking guys, but my lord, he looked good (also, he has a fatty). Daou and Offroads' chemistry was nice in this. I love the power bottom dynamic; that was very fun. Especially good acting in Chet's character. GREAT JOB, he got into that shit, oh my lord. Park (HOW DID IT FEEL TO HAVE THAT DICK REACH YOUR DANG STOMACH WITH ALL THAT MEAT RIDDING) and Chet almost made me bawl, I can't lie. I am going to need a special episode or something. We do like a joint special with the heart killers, idc if we are in different companies, make it happen. That's about it, yay Off and Daou.
Holy fuck. The same thing happened OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR 10 FUCKING EPISODES. Right when you thought they were going to change stuff up, the plot folds back in on itself, and they continue to fuck around in your face. The plot is interesting, but they need to spice it up more. Family betrayal over and over again, and it got so fucking boring even with all of the action. Peem was just straight evil for the love of the game. He had no reason to do it, but he kept fucking being so evil, and it was so funny, but also made the plot fold in on itself. The title should have been something along the lines of family, BECAUSE THAT IS ALL WE FUCKING DID, THE ENTIRE SHOW. And it was boring, it was so boring. Missed opportunity for so many romances between the guard dogs. DAMN DOGS ALL OF THEM. I think if the plot had been continuous and not a run around, then this show would have been better. It was fun, and I liked the idea, but it was just so poorly executed that it made this unbearable. Also, the whole thing with Risa. YOUR DAD DOESN'T HATE YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE A GIRL, YOUR DAD HATES YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE INCOMPETENT AS A MOTHER FUCKER. Everything that she had to do, she failed at. I mean, they are all not mentally fit for this shit, but she especially isn't because she is so focused on taking her brothers down that she can't do her job. They all are like this, but at least Chet and Peem can do their jobs and fuck around; she can't. She pissed me off. Still so mad at Park and Chet. The ending was mediocre, and I don't know how to feel at all. WE KILL THE ENTIRE CAST, CHET, RISA, HER BODY GUARD, ALL OF HER OTHER GUARDS, PARK, (and Peem technically), and there is no one left. WHY DID WE DO THAT? Just bad fucking writing. Also, our couple had a max of 3 minutes in a bullshit happy ending about Peem saying he didn't want to live this life anymore. WHY DIDN'T WE DO THAT LIKE 3 EPISODES AGO? HUH? DUMB ASS. SOMEONE TAKE JEANS AWAY FROM DAOU AND OFFROAD, PLEASE. Y'all look so weird in the slim thick baddie jeans. WHY DO DAOU AND OFFROAD ALWAYS GET TERRIBLE PLOTS? THAI DIDDY LMAO. He just randomly pulled up. The whole plot with the lover before Than was awful, and I don't know why they did that. Also, the poor character writing made this harder to enjoy as well. THE GUN SHOTS, OH MY LORDDD. GET OUT OF MY FACE. Also, a few continuity errors in this, too, mainly at the end, how was he bleeding if he HAD THE VEST ON? ARE YALL DUMB? LARD, THIS WHOLE SHOW IS LARD. Yeah, so the whole thing is trash besides acting and chemistry.
Episode overview time. "I hope this is good because they have such good chemistry and get such bad shows." They got another bad show, I fear. "The brother lowkey looks like Jimmy if he actually looked his age and didn't drink the fountain of youth, and the sisters fine as fuck lmao." "Diddy ass party. Off has chem with EVERYONE." "Meat rider. Chet's bodyguard is a fucking meat rider, and I know you’re in love with him, but hop off of his dick, dude, my fucking God." " I don’t trust this sister anymore. I don’t know, she’s giving me terrible vibes right now, and I don’t trust anybody, but like the music that’s playing in the background when she says specific things makes me not trust her." "HOW TO SPELL YOU ARE CAPITAL FUCKED PEEM. BROS A WHORE MY LORD. Why do you need a sugar daddy? You are rolling in it." "Will Than actually get with Peem or will he fuck every other guy in the show before that happens?" lmaooo. "Hey, I have never been held accountable in my life, have no idea how to regulate his emotions, and I am EVIL FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME." "There is so much happening, but this show is oddly boring. Like the same shit keeps happening over and over lmao. Chet knows he's evil, and he has his reasons. BRO IS DOING IT FOR THE LOVE OF THE FUCKING GAME. JUST BC HE CAN. Off was sick of playing submissive little bitch roles lmao. I am actually obsessed with his poorly written character, lmao. JUST EVIL BC HE CAN." "Also, the same thing keeps happening over and over again. How many times can we repeat this shit, oh my lord? BE frrrr, how did he even get fucking shot oh my god. If we took Risa out of the picture, I think Chet and what's his face would hate each other a lot less." "DONT LET HER TURN YALL AGAINST EACH OTHER. WHATS THE MORAL OF THIS STORY, DONT BE A DIRTY BUM? A whole family of dirty bums. Also, the sister is so incompetent, that's why yo daddy hates you." "Oh my god, Chet and Park are actually gonna make me fucking cry. YALL SOME DAMN DOGS. park what the hell? JUST CAUGHT HELLA BODIES. THE ENTIRE SHOW JUST DIED.. I DONT KNOW WHAT I AM SUPPOSED TO DO WITH ANY OF THIS. Yay, our main couple, I guess."
I don't know. The idea behind this is fun, but it was just very poorly executed. Watch it if you want. Okay bye!

When Love Turns Into a Dangerous Secret.
Wicked Game is not a soft or comforting BL — it’s dark, intense, and emotionally unsettling in the best way. When Aman shoots the man he loves just to silence secrets that could destroy everything, the story becomes a chilling mix of passion and betrayal. It explores how love can turn toxic when fear and obsession take control. Every scene feels heavy with tension, every look carries unspoken pain. It makes you question whether love built on secrets can ever survive. This isn’t just romance,it’s a psychological battle between the heart and survival, and it leaves you shaken long after the episode ends. 🔥Was this review helpful to you?
