Guardians of the Dafeng is like the much more polished version of this ML trope. It's not set in a cultivation world but more wuxia/politics. Both MLs are snarky and use their other-world knowledge to help better their situations.
Guardians has much more politics and slower progression of ML ability but still quite fast-paced. They both have cheats. They both have supporters, although Be Yourself ML is more harem-style so his all are women. I think the only male that helped him sincerely was his father (beyond his friends from his first life).

Extraordinary (2025) and Be Yourself (2025) both ride the ‘modern-or-outsider in a historical/fantasy world’ wave — but they give it very different flavors. Extraordinary leans more into politics, strategy and slow-burn power play: the MC pretends to be a wastrel but uses modern knowledge/wits to amass wealth and influence, quietly rising to real power behind the scenes. Meanwhile, Be Yourself opts for fantasy + romance + cultivation tropes: a powerful ancient monster merges into a weak body and suddenly gets romance, power and attention (plus multiple marriage proposals), so it’s more flashy, dramatic and romance-driven.
In short — Extraordinary feels like a cunning, slow-paced palace-drama with secrets and strategy; Be Yourself is more of a wild, supernatural ride full of cultivation-energy, romance, and transformation.
