The way Soran lost her daughter and them showing almost all of it to us... This drama really doesn't spare its viewers! But even if it's something that might be hard to watch, it gives an insight into how it was when a country was invaded/occupied by another. 🥺 But, damn, the FL really can't escape bumping into the ML, right? And he even tripped her so he could catch her so gracefully and in classic K-drama style... 🤭

This drama served it all up in one episode: action, pathos and chemistry. Loved the continuation of the cliff-hanger in the first scene. The action and aftermath was really exciting and tense. Then we got to learn about the backstory of the older FL (pathos indeed) and see the chemistry between the older FL and ML. Finally, there were some great repartee in the scenes between the younger FL and ML that bodes well for their relationship development. Can't wait for the next episodes.

Murders, conspiracies, shootouts, a massacre, personal vendettas, and an independence movement fighting against the Japanese occupation of Korea. With so much happening, you would expect *100 Days of Deception* to be a gripping historical espionage thriller.Well, think again. It's boring. Incredibly boring. The story gets tangled in an endless parade of characters, family connections, personal tragedies, and elaborate backstories, while everyone delivers painfully solemn conversations at an almost glacial pace. The historical setting is undeniably serious, but the screenplay seems to believe that seriousness requires endless pauses, dramatic stares, and dialogue delivered as though every sentence were a funeral speech. And here's the most astonishing part: after two full episodes, Kim Yoo-jung's character hasn't even been offered the infiltration mission that supposedly drives the entire series.Instead, we get countless explanations, revenge plots, and characters discussing what they intend to do, while the actual story barely moves forward.Kim Yoo-jung is a talented actress with considerable screen presence, but even she cannot rescue such a sluggish narrative. The series certainly has enough incidents to fill two episodes. What it lacks is momentum, narrative focus, and a compelling sense of progression.**Two episodes in, and the story is still preparing to begin.***100 Days of Deception? So far, it feels more like 100 Days of Boredom.*
