Do Not Watch

Rating it a 5 - which is the number of watchable episodes. The first two were genuinely strong, but after that the series steadily went downhill. I only watched it because of how highly it was praised, but can y'all leave reviews AFTER completing the whole series - as it's highly misleading just because it has a great start. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!!

Who hires someone without a background check? and that too when that's the main requirement? The second lead’s storyline was cute, but it could’ve been handled much better. In the end, it felt like he didn’t really deserve her.

Was “Woww” and became “mehhh”.

So I’m just gonna tell you how it goes! No spoilers!

The first 2 episodes were just awesome 🤩

But if we start talking about from episode 3 to 10 it didn’t just went downhill, but it went down into earth core like I did not know how they even manage to bring this much episodes. The storyline was kind of like stretching a rubber band , man. And it was kind of sad seeing the ML getting too much hurt from the FL. The first 2 episode were like oh my God, it was so Majestic. It’s going to be a very hit drama, and I don’t know the directors and the scriptwriters made it a fail . But again start talking about episode 11 and 12. It was kind of good that started a relationship. It was now feeling a office romance like we were all thinking that if the tag is office romance, there was none until episode 11 and 12 then again, if you come to talking about episode 13, it was like simply breaking up, I mean why breaking up you can just support him, and I don’t know why directors make the FL look so dumb !!!??? literally can’t they make them look like intelligent I mean, come on if we start talking about Queen of tears , the FL slayed and it was very good . But I don’t know why so many Kdrama directors think that making FL look dumb will make the ML out stand the FL . Literally, it won’t, it will just ruin the drama. Somewhat just try to watch it. This drama is more of like when you want to kill your time. Just watch it if you want to kill your time . It’s gonna really kill your time and kind of no use. It’s like meh forgettable.😑 it had a very nice potential of becoming a hit drama, but the script weren’t scripting so no words literally… but talking about the soundtracks, they were very addictive. At least one thing this drama did 10 out of 10 and good. The acting was good, but it was more of their acting was all just wasted into this useless script. They could have made the script more having a very nice potential thingy. Bhat. Yeah, they did not use their kind of brain into it , sorry for the directors and the script writers because i’m not trying to offend you guys but you could have done much better… so yeah, it’s just forgettable meh killing your time drama…

Dynamite Kiss

The show started off with a bang and end with a flop. The last episode did not make any sense. I would love to know what the writers were thinking.
The storyline is simply ridiculous, and I don't think the ML and the FL were a good match. This show did not do justice to the ML. He is a great actor but this made him seem mediocre.
Had the show continued on the same premise it started, it would have been a hit.

Something is Missing

The story looked promising in the beginning then somehow lost its charm. The same old same old story - rich guy, poor girl cliche 😐In the beginning I thought it would be engaging. But, midway I had realised that this has nothing new to offer. I somehow completed the episodes. Even the romance part was not giving that butterflies feeling. So watch if you want to see something just to kill time.

Started with a bang and ended with sounds of confusion

This started off so well! Cliche - yes, but so much fun! I haven’t seen the actress playing Go Da Rim before, but she did a wonderful job portraying the character. She was charming when she needed to be and had great comedic timing, especially during the chase scenes. The chemistry with the chief wasn’t the best at all times, but it was compelling enough to keep me watching most of the time.

The story really started to go off track around episode 10. Yes, things took off and slowed down to fill the episodes up to that point, but episode 10 is where I started to wonder if they knew how to end the drama. I was excited to see this didn’t have 16-20 episodes because a lot of dramas seem to flounder around episode 12 trying to fill unneeded time. This drama seemed to have enough material for 10-ish episodes and then just added a ton of unnecessary corporate espionage drama. There’s a fight with a masked saboteur, GDR carrying the chief out of a burning building (and apparently immune to inhaling smoke), female employees getting slapped, Go Da Rim gets framed not once, but TWICE?? Memory loss?? I literally got to episode 12 and no longer cared how it ended.

The plot you would’ve thought would’ve been a bigger deal - GDR seemingly stealing a position from a mother that needed it is pretty much shrugged off. Her family drama is also solved in like episode 4 or 5 with the chief paying off her sisters debt. I don’t get this show’s decisions.

After Love Scout showed such a self sufficient, competent single father, it made the chief a lot less appealing to watch. He’s a man child given a position of power because of pure nepotism. The business prowess we’re meant to believe he has is barely showcased. He whines, he throws temper tantrums, he was downright cruel to GDR and his team at several points because he kissed someone he thought lied to him about being single. He didn’t deserve to run a team at a successful company. The only thing I agreed with his half sister on was that he was unworthy of the position he was given.

The acting was a bit stiff at points. The acting of the young girl engaged to marry chief Gong was cringey and weird. She was also weirdly juvenile in her behavior. There are people in the clock app that think the single father wasn’t good enough for her - this girl couldn’t take no for an answer. It wasn’t about being unable to read hints - he outright told her he wasn’t interested several times (sometimes harshly) and she still pursued him. Even blackmailed him into spending time with her. She’s not a sad little pitiable character.

At the end, I was rooting for GDR because she’s a compelling character. The romance seemed to be mostly her going along with the chief and it wasn’t really all that romantic to me. However, the actress was great so… maybe just watch eps 1-9 and call it a day?

The story starts well and initially builds curiosity, but as it progresses, it becomes extremely painful and frustrating to watch. From the male lead’s perspective, the female lead appears not only emotionally irresponsible but also characterless. As a married woman and the mother of a six-year-old child, her choice to kiss and sleep with another man is hard to accept and makes it very difficult to sympathize with her character.
Despite this, the male lead continues to fall for her, which feels forced and illogical. The narrative tries to romanticize these actions, making the storyline feel unrealistic and beyond reasonable moral and emotional boundaries. While the drama can be watched casually, it ultimately becomes more frustrating than enjoyable.i dont know how it got 7.6 rating on imdb .

Has the best pilot episode for RomCom Kdrama in 2025

The first episode is insanely good, and interesting. The two leads have this amazing chemistry together; every scene with them feels electric and totally natural. The male lead is super charming—he draws you in without even trying, like he's got this easy magnetism. The female lead matches him perfectly with her lively energy and sweet vibe, balancing his cool style in the best way. As they share the screen, the sparks fly, their interactions crackling with a palpable energy that's both intoxicating and believable. I'm hooked, and I can't wait to see what happens next!

-Episode 1&2

Ps: The writer did know what to do in the last episode, so she just added the amnesia thing out of nowhere, but I like the way it ended – happy, married, with kids. But I still believe that Seon U isn't good for my Hayeong; the writer did her dirty. Dynamite Kiss may not be the best Kdrama, but the ML and FL chemistry is undeniably one of the best in RomCom Kdrama history. The first two episodes are undeniably the best pilot episodes for a RomCom Kdrama. 😊

When Life Gives You AI

Oh dear. First two eps were great. Wonderful chemistry and not a bad setup. But then...

It feels like the plot has been written using AI. “AI, write a scene where two me are competing for the same woman”. “AI, write a scene where a man and a woman are forced to reveal their true feelings”.

I tried. I really tried. But this is just terrible.

So to start off let’s talk the first two episodes, they were amazing chefs kiss I dare say but that’s it only those two. I was so hooked so obsessed. The next two episodes after weren’t all bad but I will tell you this kdrama has almost every single cliche kdrama plot that it’s overwhelming. I also don’t want to take away from the cast because I personally loved the cast it was the plot itself that ruined it for me. I think after the 4th of 6th episode it just starts to go down very fast. I had very high hopes for this kdrama but I found myself struggling to finish it honestly. I suggest you save your breath and don’t waste your time on this; only the first two episodes are really worth it. One last note I have is I personally liked the last episode although it was very rushed because half the episode was wasted on the amnesia plot; I did although like the tie in to the first episode that was nice the rest was meh. Pretty mediocre ending. I wouldn’t even recommend watching it for the second couple because they’re even worse.

Love it!

I truly enjoyed watching the drama, as I was waiting eagerly every week for the episodes to come out.
It was really fun to watch as it had a series of funny moments, as I kept hoping for them to come together. The actors were amazing, all of them, and I was happy to see so many known faces and to get acquainted with new ones that shone through all episodes.
One thing, in the final episode, when she went to look for her sister. What happened to that scene? It was very predictable she would meet him again from the moment she packed the dress. But after meeting him, producers or writers forgot that she had a sister and the reason for what she traveled there. It was a bit disappointing to cut that part if the scene. I really wished she reunited with her sister as well, who was a victim herself to her husband's doings. It's a small detail, but mattered to be added.
Overall, I enjoyed it and I would reccomend watching it.

don’t waste your time

the only good episodes are the first two ( maybe the 3th and 4th too )
first off all the plot is lacking wdym the plot is about her lying about her being married as if the company wouldn’t ask for her marriage license anyway it’s a kdrama so we’ll say nothing
her blindness is too much wdym you thought he wanted to kiss you because he wasn’t well oh please
after going through all this shitty misunderstanding his dad slap her ?? how is that even allowed and then they broke up they literally lasted two minutes
i didn’t watch the two last episodes but i’ve seen some tweets about it wdym he lost his memory ??? now why do we have to deal with all the cliche stuff ??
not to forget the horrible writing of her friend he just seem to plain suddenly he realized his feelings for her when she founds the love of her life oh please..

*SPOILER ALERT*

To me, this one is bittersweet, and I’ll tell you why…

The show started SO WELL. I was genuinely in love with them. Great chemistry, cute and intimate moments, comedy balanced with drama, cliché in the right amount… everything was lining up perfectly. And then the final episode happened.

WHY do writers still think amnesia is a good plot twist in 2025? They wasted precious screen time with memory loss instead of giving us what we actually deserved: the protagonists finally being happy. They robbed us of scenes that would’ve been beautiful just to shove in a cheap trope that added nothing.

I understand Seonwoo’s emotional block. He was deeply hurt: first by the mother of his child, then by Darim. Trauma doesn’t disappear overnight. BUT YEARS??? Years of pushing Hayeong away while clearly caring about her and giving her hope??? Unforgivable. Their arc had so much potential and was one of the most emotionally interesting parts of the show. Completely wasted.

The loose ends frustrate me the most. Seonwoo’s past is full of holes. I genuinely thought the mother of his child was dead, but no… she’s alive somewhere? No explanation, no closure.

And Darim’s sister storyline? A mess. She goes to Jeju to look for her sister, suddenly reunites with Jihyeok, they kiss, his memory comes back… and then she just forgets why she was even there and goes back to Seoul. Excuse me? What about the sister?

They tried to resolve in 20 minutes what should’ve been developed calmly over the entire episode. Instead, we lost meaningful resolution to an amnesia plot that cost one year of their lives.

Dynamite Kiss could’ve ended beautifully, but the ending was deeply disappointing. However, somehow, I adored the series.
