the casts were all good looking and pretty and all had decent acting.
the leads had good chemistry. (they had some good kisses!!)
the editing felt choppy at times and some episodes starts in a new plot point without any build up but this is common in short cdramas with 5minutes long episodes.
overall it wasn't bad but could've been a lot better!
38 episodes were too much. they could wrap up with 25 or so episodes.
the last 10 episodes were just stretching the story for nothing.'
I don't mind cliche tropes but they tried to insert too many cliche into the drama that it felt writers had a checklist, I'll list a few none-spoiler ones bellow:
-drugged fl
-orphan fl
-love at first sight
-rich ceo ml, poor fl
-protective ml... with a hint of red flag.
-bully coworkers (it was very very short)
-cheater ex
-annoying 2fl
-fl cries a lot
-love triangle (the guy was good actually)
there were few more but I don't want to spoil the drama much so I'll leave them for those interested to see for themselves.
thank god they left out the kidnapping trope!
from the start of the drama it felt like fl would take matters to her own hands and deal with those who wronged her but to be honest fl couldn't do much by herself and most of the time ml was letting her use him to deceive others.
Also I don't call fl dumb but I don't categorize her as smart either.
so don't expect a smart, calculative and independent fl.
I didn't notice the ost much while watching.
I would've rated it 7 or 7.5 if the last 10 episodes didn't drag as much as they did. also ending was a bit rushed as well.
All that said, I don't regret watching this drama. it was an okay watch to pass time but I won't re-watch it in future.
In conclusion:
*if you are not used to the short cdrama format, the editing and jumps between plots might bother you a bit.
*It's a cliche fest so don't expect something ground breaking.
*there were few scenes of SA e.g. ep12 & 13 (so proceed with caution if that bothers you)

I could have watched it till the end but everything at this point was pretty much predictable
On the whole i will say it was a good drama but streching it to 38 episodes seemed a lot .. so i dropped mid way, but I am sure a lot of people will love to watch it till the end.Alright !!! the things that I felt made this drama worth your time are :
1) it has a lot of dynamics .. i mean apart from a classic betrayal-revenge plot ..story throws light on hyper possessive and abusive relationship... The need of women's financial independence and their need to keep balance with career and love life. In both past life and present lives , creators gave a strong lesson about importance of Women financial self dependence through FL character.. and criticised ML 's wish to keep her as his canary locked in the cage.
2) Good looking cast
3) it was refreshing to see a woman entrepreneur that too in the field of finance and investment... Otherwise we always see ML or male villain talking about things like stocks, stake holders , joint ventures, business acquisitions etc .. the way she manipulated her way to get revenge using the market fluctuations was very inspiring... ❤️❤️🫰🫰🫰OTHERWISE WE ALWAYS SEE FL SEDUCING THE VILLAIN ARCH ENEMY TO GET HER REVENGE, don't we ????
Things that were not so good about the drama:
1) though the cast is good looking but their acting wasn't very impressive.. in fact i dropped the show for that cause. story was already predictable at this point and with their bad acting there wasnt much left to watch.
2) plot was interesting till ep ,20 after that It suddenly lost its juice and turned boring.

absloute FOOLS
the minus one mark is HEAVY. first our female lead is an idiot half of the time, she gets mad at the ml for not wanting her to hangout priavatley with her proffeser I'm sorry what business does a teacher have with a student? he was ACC doging her from a bullet. planing to tell her when she graduates............ NO. its also just fucking ridiculous how all the women in this show are absolute fools and even though the second male lead was killed I think it should have turned worse. because the girl got jail for killing him when its so pitiful. ANYHO ml needs to learn communication and the worst most IMPORTANT thing and I literally had to imagine it didn't happen to get through and slightly enjoy the drama was the ASSULT, isn't that rape if she has been drugged? and the audacity for him to ask for compensation and be an absolute arse so for my sanity I had to imagine they where both drugged. why does the show paint it as she wanted it or smth!! this trope makes me sick in cdramas. i reckon if a competent person made this it could be sm better. because the male lead is soo handsome. and I think he's very devoted and kind of reminds me of the male lead from well intended love but I acc think this ml has more potential as his the ULTIMATE loyal man. he doesn't question her at all I love it!! pray to GOD a smart director gives this plot a chance with a truly loyal rich handsome devoted ml who isn't tapped....Was this review helpful to you?
