Deep and Nostalgic
I knew that this series exists but I did not prioritize it but since I was running out of BLs to watch and saw that it’s already completed, I decided to give it a try and I wasn’t disappointed. I was hooked from start to finish. Rearrange is such a beautiful time-travel BL series about friendship, coming-of-age, first love, and music.Set in the 1990s, it really fascinated me. I love shows like this where there are no mobile phones or modern gadgets yet—just simple teenage life, real connections, and genuine friendships. Watching it actually made me feel nostalgic, like I was going back to my own teenage days.
Characters:
Win – A selfless guy who secretly loves Nut but never gets the chance to confess. He’s willing to sacrifice his feelings for the sake of Nut and Lin.
Nut – A teenager who’s overly controlled by his strict father, especially when it comes to music. He’s quiet, isolated, and has no friends—until he meets Win. At first, he’s hesitant, but Win’s warmth eventually gets through to him.
Biu – She’s bubbly, talkative, and just fun to be around. I really love her friendship with Win, and her character is written so well.
The side characters, Chai and Ek, also have a beautiful bond that slowly grows into love.
Nut took quite a while to realize his feelings, but it was still satisfying to see that their love ended up being mutual. This is the kind of slow burn that’s totally worth it. And seeing Nut finally stand up for his dreams—especially against his father felt like a big moment of courage. I really appreciated his character growth.
As for Win, it’s heartwarming to see that he comes from such a loving family despite not having a mother. He played such an important role in Nut’s life—always encouraging him not to give up and checking on him emotionally and physically. What they have isn’t just loveit’s something deeper, like family.
There were a few filler scenes that didn’t add much, but overall, this series amazed me in so many ways. It’s not just fluff—it has depth and warmth.
By the end, I loved how each character grew and how well they were written. Sure, some parts weren’t perfectly polished—there were a few scenes that felt random or disconnected and the time travel element in the later episodes seems like was not the focused anymore—but it still kept me engaged. It’s one of those series that not only gives you romantic feels but also teaches you something meaningful.
I’m not that familiar with FRT Entertainment, but I have to say I’m impressed. They really delivered an above-average BL with talented actors and solid production value. I’m so glad they created something this heartfelt.
I honestly hope the main leads get to work together again because you can really tell they gave it their all. If you’re still unsure whether to watch this or not—don’t hesitate. Just watch it. You won’t regret it.

Binged watched it in a day!
This is literally the first time in a while that a series made me ugly cry in the very first episode! It was necessary! The actors were really good and I absolutely love it!! The bond between Win and his dad was the highlight for me. How cute! The MLs have so much chemistry! 😍 Happy ending btw! Don't hesitate to watch it!Was this review helpful to you?

Turns out this is quite good actually
I love myself a time-travel story, and that was the ONLY reason that I started this. NGL that I was half expecting the off-repeated tropes and cringe-fest from this, looking at the (same-old) poster, but was pleasantly surprised. The storytelling and performances are quite good...with a story about a school band where the members can actually sing, a lot less of OTT cringe, and also a tolerably good story to boot. I would say yes, watch.BL-needle Score: 7.5 Reasonably high BL-ness
The story of a mid-40s under-performing, desperate guy Win, getting a second chance at life and possible love with his school crush Nut, is nothing new and I was half expecting to drop this after the first episode. But the show convinced me otherwise. While it is not a stunner or incisive, I would say it still works better than some of the formulaic Thai shows that have had in the recent times. The substantial gap for the time-travel didn't feel realistic given how hung up Win and Lin still are about Nut's death (after 27 Years!!). A 10-15 years at most, would have been more believable.
Win and Nut's characters are mostly believable, and so are their friends. I must mention that Win's dad is such a sweetheart. I love the fact that for once a BL-father is shown to be fun and caring. It also gives us a the stark contrast with Nut's father who is your usual shitty-controlling-abusive douchebag of a father that we have had for many a past dramas. The difference so clearly shows up in how Win and Nut are as teenagers, which I think, could turn out to be an important message, going forward. Also, so glad that the leads can actually play the guitar and sing, which is so very apparent on screen. That itself brings more authenticity to their story. But I must say, that I didn't really like their music much, but that didn't interfere with me liking their story.
My only bone of contention was how the final episode felt a tad rushed, like everything got resolved and came to be as desired, within what seemed like a rather short time span...they could have left a few things open-ended, to make it seem more realistic, particularly since the show was, for most parts, very believable all through.
To sum it up, I really enjoyed watching this and I think, you will too.

If fate can give time travel a chance, then it can also give life a second chance.
At first, the story felt too sad for me, and after watching the first episode, I almost gave up because it felt depressing. But after checking some reviews, I decided to continue—and I never expected it to have such a beautiful happy ending. It completely changed how I felt about the whole journey.

Feel good series!
This was a great little series and I actually ended up binge watching this in a day. the concept isn't new as we have seen similar themed BLs in the past (my favorite being , be my favorite and Absolute zero). Naturally with series like these their can be times when things don't always make sense but for me, with this series it flowed well and I didn't find myself asking "how is that possible"!I love all the characters and I have to say that Marcs smile is just pure addictiveness, he is beyond cute and I really hope they become a regular couple. I think with series like this you need to try to enjoy them for what they are and not nit pick at the mistakes.
I see a lot of people saying that his memories should be changing as the series progresses but for me I like to think that once he went back in time he started a new time line and so it was impossible for him to know what would happen even though he tried to fix things.
Anyway for anyone on the line about watching, give the first few episodes a go and I promise you'll be hooked.

Wasted potential!
I was very excited for this one when I first saw the trailer, but for me, its a major letdown. I don't see much chemistry between the leads— they actually feel more like friends rather than teenagers in love. We've had so many school-based BLs so we know that is not a limiting factor when it comes to showing real chemistry, but its just missing here. The leads' performances are also quite mediocre, especially the actor who plays Nut. His expressions are extremely stiff and off-putting at times, which is tough cause he has to act out a lot of emotionally hard-hitting scenes but is just not able to deliver.I also dont think they've used the whole plot device of Win returning from the future to improve the past thing very well. It feels like an afterthought tbh. 8 episodes in, and other than a few characters, nobody knows Win is from the future and it has no bearing on the story whatsoever. Nut's father is comically evil— just no depth or complexity to him. Why does he hate his own son with so much passion? Just cause, I guess.
Also, another major gripe is that this group of friends just dont come across as friends. Like our central cast of characters are all awkward and odd with each other, so their friendship feels very fake to me. The only thing I kind of like about the show is P'Chai's character— he is someone dealing with real poverty while being surrounded by very privileged kids who dont understand how good they have it. I am intrigued by the setup of Chai and Ek as well since its a decently cute P-nong relationship.
But overall, just extremely meh. I dont see this show saving itself in the last 2 episodes at all.

The writing is tight, the cinematography is stunning, and the production is flawless. It steers clear of the usual school-BL clichés and gives us a heartfelt, well-crafted story. What starts as a nostalgic trip turns into a touching reflection on love, regret, friendship, and family.
But the real highlight? The cast. Flute and Marc have such sweet chemistry. They brought their characters to life with so much emotion and depth. Their connection felt so natural and genuine that the romance was completely believable. What truly mattered to Win was being able to express his real feelings for Nut, the boy he’s always loved.
Bom and Austin gave me full-on second couple syndrome. Their performances were convincing, and some of their scenes were just ridiculously sweet. They totally won me over. Chai and Ek deserve their own spin-off. They’re the most surprising characters in the series. Chai might look like a bad boy, but he’s a good son, loyal friend, and someone willing to grow into a better person for Ek. Ek, on the other hand, is quiet and introspective, but beneath his calm exterior is a strength and determination you wouldn’t expect. And just like Chai, he’s got his own “gang” too.
Then there’s Biu and Lin. GL couples are often underdeveloped, but not here. Opal and Mint did a fantastic job, and their chemistry really showed. Even after being rejected, Biu kept showing her love for Lin without pushing, just quietly accepting their friendship. And slowly, Lin started to understand what love really means.
The families: I loved how the show portrayed families from different social backgrounds. Withun is hands-down the best dad ever, it’s impossible not to fall for him. At first, I thought Ek’s parents were overprotective, but they actually embody the “sabai sabai” spirit of Thai culture. They’re loving, intuitive, and genuinely care about Ek’s well-being. Despite being wealthy, they’re kind and never looked down on Chai for his humble background. I really liked how Ek and his parents talked through everything.
Even though I usually have low tolerance for alcoholic characters, I appreciated the dynamic between Chai and his mom. I like that he recognizes the sacrifices she makes for him.
And finally, Nut’s family. If Withun is the best dad ever, Nut’s father might be the worst, right up there with Uea’s mom from Bed Friend. He’s cruel, controlling, and takes out all his frustration over not becoming a successful singer on Nut. He really got under my skin. But I loved how Nut stood up to him in the end, respectful, but firm.
The cherry on top? The actors are musicians too and that made all the difference. I absolutely recommend this series and will definitely rewatch it.

Elder Millennial Re-do
17 year old Win is friendly and fun. 44 year old Win has a lonely and miserable outlook on life, being let go from a cold office gig and has even frostier relationships with his younger brother and his high school friend who has already hit their limit from his hitting them up for money to pay the rent he's behind on. His father has passed and the legalization of gay marriage in Thailand makes him think of the only romantic love he felt in his life for his high school crush Nut who passed away too soon. Win's will to live a full life died with Nut at just 17. Feeling his lowest, Win lives carelessly and while driving decides to reach down for his phone that's fallen below the passenger seat instead of waiting until he can safely pull over and crashes, but wakes up in as his 17 year old self again. The magical conceit is never explained, so it could be that this is all a lucid death dream of a man going back to the warmth of his teen years in 1998, a point in his life when the people he loved and loved him were all in his life and his dreams still had possibility.Aside from his rental band practice room boss Phob's death being unpreventable, everything else falls into place for Win. He takes on cooking duties for his father, brother, and especially to ensure that Nut eats healthy. He enacts group running exercises for Nut's health as well, getting Nut to see a doctor as soon as he's able to as a pretense as a health check for their band activities. As a result of everything he spends even more time with Nut. The first time around, Nut wrote in his journal that he wished he could have had some time to date Lin, someone who made it very clear she liked him. This time around, the first thing he does is the tell Nut that he liked him to a confused Nut who wasn't sure if he heard right. I really like how this key difference made Nut open up to seeing Win in a romantic sense, which makes him contextualize everything that Win does for him through that lens rather as just a best bro to the point that he wrote a romantic song for Win. The scene where Win drops Nut back off to his room, but has to stay in there for a bit when Nut's strict father is checking outside the window is so beautiful. Win asks what Nut wanted to tell him with Nut saying to wait until after the competition the next day, but basically tells Win what he wanted to confess with the lyrics of the confession song that he wrote for Win and instead of saying anything, Win just kisses Nut and Nut answers "I like you too" before they resume kissing. They are so cute. All Win's effort's pay off and Win gets a surgery in time in Bangkok and the combination of a healthy living style that Win has got Nut doing worked well for his recovery.
Another result of Win trying to get everything back into place, but in a different way is that his band group becomes 500% more gay. Aside from Win winning the heart of his dream boy Nut, their rich drummer Ek and college bassist Chai gets together, and their two band managers Biu and Lin get together. At first it was eye rolling that Ek and Chai gets a camera angle kiss, but then it turns out the actor who plays Ek is actually 17 in real life, so that was understandable. But really they should have just cast an actor who wasn't 17 in the first place. I also really enjoyed Win and Biu being a girl and boy best friends forever pairing. Win's relationship with his most understanding father is so sweet as well as is Ek's relationship with his loving parents. Nut has the most tumultuous relationship with his suffocatingly strict father who is not won over to letting Nut pursue his own happiness even with Nut's brush with death, but instead the band gets a deal to release tapes of their music and to do a concert as well. The man finally smiles approvingly for his son in the crowd. Nut's dad is not all bad though, he did look away that day that Win snuck Nut out for practice and probably when he snuck back in with Nut into the room. When Win and Nut discuss coming out to his dad and to the fans, Win tells Nut that his dad probably already knows and to let him pretend he doesn't and as for the fans, definitely not the era for coming out yet, but in 20 years they can legally register their marriage. Nut doesn't even question the idea of marriage with Win and instead thinks 40 years with Win is not enough and wants 60 and more. I was hoping there would be a flash forward back to 2025 where we see 44 year old Win and Nut living a happy domestic life, but we leave off with the teenagers happily living their couple life in Nut's room. The lack of a future scene also leaves it as a possible death dream scenario for those that enjoy a bittersweet finale, but that's just personal interpretation, it's absolutely a happy ending.

Very impressive start for a new production company
I was very hesitant to watch this at first because of the time travel love storyline. I’m usually not a fan with this because the scripts often are messy and rarely end well. However, I am really happy that I did not skip this series.I placed spoilers at the end of this review.
The series was incredible. The script did an amazing job keeping me interested from beginning to end. Although the first episode was a little confusing with the multiple time jumps, it still did a great job setting up the story and characters. I also like how it did not take the completely predictable route with some of the story elements. They did a nice job interweaving some of Win’s memories in some of the episodes, but wish they used this more. The script was a little weak with not fully explaining some aspect of the storyline and characters. The entire cast, new and old, did an incredible job with portraying their characters. I usually don’t get impressed with the songs used in a series, but this had an outstanding soundtrack. Because the actors actually know how to play and sing, it helped me really get into their characters and storyline. The production team did an amazing job with the attention to details involving the costumes and props.
Random Note:
The Behind-the-Scenes footage at the end episode 10 was cool.
The location used for Win’s house was used in the movie “My Boo” (Joe’s house). It was also used for the series “Leap Day” (Ozone and Day’s house), “Bake Me Please” (Peace’s house), “Shadow” (Dan’s childhood home), “Sing Again” (Piano’s childhood home), “Mama Gogo” (Annie’s house), and “21 Days Theory” (Q’s house). I’m 90% certain that it was also used in the series “Happiness” (Dr. Beam’s childhood home).
The location used for Ek’s house was used in the series “Tale of Thousand Stars” (Tian’s parent’s house) and “SOTUS S” (Kongpob’s parent’s house). Yes, I’m a proud nerd about knowing this kind of stuff.
The English subtitles were actually very good on GagaOOLala for a change.
******Potential Spoiler Alert******
It was very wise for Win not to tell Biu about personal information regarding the future of the other.
There are some aspects of the script that could have been better explained. One example is it hinted that Ek has some type of social anxiety, but it did not fully explain this and how he overcame it. Another example is Chai. I had no clue he was in a gang until episode 5. Before this episode, I just thought he liked to fight and/or had a short temper.
I wish they did a quick flash-forward to the present to confirm the suggested happy ending with all the characters. However, I understand this was probably not in the budget because this would require more actors to play the older versions of Nut, Chai, Ek, and Biu.

advice please as I try to watch this show
I am trying to watch this series but doesn't really make sense. Does it get better?" I mean Win lives 27 years of pain and guilt and not a very good life missing Nut. He goes back in time and despite all his history and knowledge knowing Nut will die is just being a cowardly, weenie, rabbitt who can't string together a declarative sentence let alone confront Nut's health lies. Is there a point to all this? Just confused by the high ratings. Seems fluffy and stupid and not well written at this point. Was this review helpful to you?
Nothing was Rearranged
There is no doubt that some may find this series entertaining and maybe even cute. Unfortunately, I am not in that category. For me, this was yet another in a long string of endless high school cliché dramas that was unoriginal and trite and filled with every conceivable trope you can think of. Admittedly, it started out interestingly enough. But here again, it moved too inextricably and set up a false premise that from a logical perspective did not make any sense that was never explained nor fully clarified. Why these kinds of series continue to be made is beyond any level of understanding. Relationships do not materialize until the end and are prepubescent in nature with not an ounce of sexual tension or intensity about them. Please just stop and develop stories that have a sense of relatability and connectability to them. Was this review helpful to you?
