Both are short korean BL dramas. The characters of both shows give off a similar vibe - one is a pretty/idol beauty boy, while the other is portrayed as more rough (but still handsome) with a bigger build. Theres some bickering, some hidden feelings. The pretty guy has a reputation to uphold. Still he is more forward with his feelings. The characters grow close via fighting.
while these have completely different vibes the main couples have similar dynamics:
- both are BL between two straight(?) guys
- both have a younger idol-turned-actor paired with an older professional/trainer
- both sort of have an enemies to lovers thing going on with the idol initially being difficult to work with until the older guy convinces him to take the job more seriously

The story is not similar but the chemistry and acting are great in both. Match Play is about an actor and his stuntman while Killer Next Door is about a killer and his friend from highschool. I just wished both dramas were made into a full length drama instead of a vertical format one. Nonetheless, I think you'll enjoy both.
