Burnout Syndrome Episode 1 Reactions
Watching Off Jumpol and Gun Atthaphan in "Burnout Syndrome" is like witnessing a decade of trust culminate in a single, electric gaze. Their transition from playful partners to the intense, mature dynamic of Koh and Jira is a masterclass in screen presence.

There is a magnetic pull in "Burnout Syndrome" that you just can't look away from. Whether it’s the timeless, soul-deep connection between Off and Gun or the fresh, electric spark with Dew Jirawat, the chemistry here feels like a living, breathing thing that lights up the screen

The way P Nuchy introduce each character is slow burn but entertaining and so artistic. Burnout isn’t just being tired; it’s when the vivid colors of P’Nuchy’s cinematic world turn to grayscale in your own life. We must protect our creative spirit from the grind that treats our soul like a machine rather than a masterpiece. Learn about burnout symptoms to know when to rest.

What a great start into this drama! It's so raw, I just LOVE the sound(track) and cinematography with the colours, camerawork and everything...For the characters, Gun as Jira certainly is the perfect cast and he already gives me the "unsuccessful artist" vibes. Finally another great chance for him to show his acting skills. Very much looking forward to see more of Off as Koh, but who really caught me by surprise was Dew as Pheem. I don't really remember seeing him anywhere before but duuuude, his acting is immaculate, especially in this role. He's a fine man, but his gestures, voice and way of talking keeps me on edge (in a good way). Can't wait to get to know his character better...

Propelled by very good performances of Dew and Off as well as expertly selected music we're launched into the unknown. Gun's performance was uneven, ranging from very strong to uncertain and weak, as if at times he wasn't sure how to play Jira. The story flowed so smoothly that I didn't notice the passage of time. Like in the official trailer, several shots in the episode felt wide and cinematic - a real joy to behold. Also, eyeliner Thor looked hot.

The social commentary. The cinematography. The soundtrack. The lighting design. The BL. Perfect. No notes.

I try to find a flaw in Gun and I just cant. He is just so good! He really puts his heart into every character he plays. Love the storyline.

Healing isn't free if you're not financially stable. The first episode opens with Jira, who looks like he hasn’t slept since 2020, wandering through life with the raw energy of a man whose soul has been paying rent on his behalf. Jira is an artist suffering burnout from his passion and it leaves him uninspired. His bestie suggests that he goes to this burnout bar to bring back a sense of balance in his life, but how could she have predicted the chaos pot she was throwing him into? Pheem enters the frame like a slick and creepy predator honing in on his pretty prey. He's helpless in Jira's pretty presence but he manages to read Jira's palm and what do you know? His prediction becomes true, but at what cost? Then we have the one, the only, Koh. Mysterious, handsome, and enigmatic with good lighting following him naturally. Koh pops up, and the camera practically screams, “This is the plot now.” Meanwhile, the cinematography looks like it was shot by someone who has very strong opinions about neon and shadows, which is excellent in a setting like this. And the music? The music knows things. It watches the characters make terrible decisions and whispers, “Yes… continue.”By the end, we’re left with two things:1. Jira’s life is about to get dramatically worse with two besties vying for his attention.2. Koh is definitely trouble wrapped in a pretty face, which is, frankly, GMMTV’s favorite wrapping paper.First episode was a solid and cemented 10 for me.

tbh I did not expect all that much from gmmtv but I was left pleasantly surprised! I love the chemistry and the tension that was established between the characters and the overall kind of heavy and darker vibe of the show in general. I am very excited to see how it will develop on the long run. I also really want to see how they will be handling the love "triangle" (even if it is most likely one character choosing between two others and not all of them being involved with each other - gmm that would be an amazing plot btw)Let's just hope the quality of the series will be continuing and wont be dropping along the way - but as of now, I am hopeful.

This was such a good 1st ep 😭That DewGun scene at the bar felt so powerful. Dew's aura was so heavy I loved it. Pheem is most definitely a lil psycho, dark and full of secrets. We love red flags 🤭
