Great storytelling.

Some stories ask you to choose a side. Ticket to Heaven asks you to understand everyone.

What could have easily become a simple story about religion versus love is instead a thoughtful exploration of two young men trying to make sense of the lives they've inherited. The series never mocks faith, nor does it treat love as something that needs to be justified. It simply asks what happens when both are equally real to the same person.

Barth and Tanrak are among the most beautifully written characters I've seen in years. Their relationship is built on patience, trust, reassurance, and genuine affection. Even in their most painful moments, you never question how deeply they love each other.

Gemini delivers the performance of his career, while Fourth once again proves why he's one of the finest young actors working today. Together, they create something that feels effortless and unforgettable.

What stayed with me most wasn't the heartbreak, it was the kindness. The quiet conversations, the moments of understanding, the willingness to listen, and the hope that love doesn't have to come at the cost of losing yourself.

By the time the credits rolled, it no longer felt like I had watched a television series. It felt like I had known Barth and Tanrak.

That, to me, is the mark of truly great storytelling.

Love Wins - Always

Ticket to Heaven is one of those BL/gay-themed series that will leave a lasting mark. It tackles the sensitive intersection of being gay while navigating life as a devout Catholic. From a BL fan’s perspective, the series is beautifully written and acted. It avoids being preachy, instead highlighting the brighter aspects of life—love, faith, and forgiveness.

From a Catholic point of view, however, the narrative feels liberal and unrealistic. It doesn’t fully reflect the traditional, conservative stance of Catholicism—or of Abrahamic religions in general. Yet perhaps that is precisely the point: we don’t need more depictions of division and condemnation.

What makes this series powerful is the emotional journey it takes us on. We feel the tension, guilt, and fear building with each episode. At one point, it even seemed their love story might collapse after Tanrak’s confession to the priest. But the ending offered redemption. After all the heaviness, the series leaves us with hope—the hope that love can endure, that forgiveness is possible, and that we can embrace the person our heart beats for.

just all the feelings

I'm writing this review with tears on my eyes after finishing the last episode, and I have to say: this is a masterpiece.

Don't fret now: this show have a happy ending as it should be, because the world and real life is already full of sad endings.

Gemini and Fourth, what a great acting you served here. I've always loved their acting, but here they convey everything through a simple look, eyes so expressive that you feel all the feelings they want to express.

I wish I could force all my friends to watch this, but unfortunately I don't have this power lol
So I hope this review will make at least 1 person try watching this show.

Beautifully and thoughtfully made, handled with the utmost care and respect.

Every scene captures exactly the emotions it intends to convey.
Fourth&Gemini have always been exceptional, but this is undoubtedly their best performance yet.Their acting feels so natural&emotionally honest that every feeling reaches beyond the screen and straight to your heart. You don’t just watch the story—you feel it,The butterflies, the LOVE,the spark, the tension,
the struggles,the fear,the nervousness,the joy,the infatuation,the sadness,the guilt,the longing—every emotion is delivered with remarkable sincerity,making it impossible not to be completely immersed.

This series is so beautiful, so meaningful, so FULL OF LOVE.

Can I still go to heaven?

I could never find the right words or the right sentences to describe how beautiful this series is.

I myself have dealt with the clash between sexuality and religion, and the emotional turmoil that leads afterwards. It took me MONTHS to accept myself and finally come back to my religion without feeling guilty. This story perfectly captured the guilt, the grief, the denial, the avoidance. I thought that I had gotten over my religious trauma, but watching this series really dug up all those feelings I had bottled up. I really thought that I wasn't going to cry. When I saw Auntie Lek, I couldn't contain my tears anymore. I love her. 😭

Shortcomings:
The pilot looked like it had more emotional depth. It almost seemed heavier. The wording was bolder and, well... what happened to the girl? I do wish it was a bit closer to the pilot. DESPITE THAT, the final results were still amazing.

This will go down in history

I don't know what I expected, but it wasn't THIS.
It's been a good while since a bl show made me feel so many emotions all at once and I really underestimated this one.
Acting was 11/10 - I always knew Fourth and Gemini had a lot of potential but never got the chance to express it but now? They showed everyone how it's done.
I've always appreciated acting with eyes only and they absolutely nailed it in Ticket to heaven. I was watching with my jaw dropped.
So many feelings and thousands of words told by one look. Masterpiece.
The unusual lighting was something I loved about it as well. The unusual warm
colors really fit the storyline and everything around it. It was beautiful.
I'm very happy about the final episode not just because of the way it ended but because of how properly it was actually made unlike a lot of other shows. An hour and a half was just perfect amount of time to capture everything important and make you understand the message of the whole show. I'm beyond grateful and amazed by the way they chose to say goodbye to this work of art.
Even though I am an atheist, the message was beautiful just like everything about this show. I hope to see more things like this in the future.
Again, FLAWLESS and I highly recommend to absolutely everyone

So impactful!

As a former Christian, I started watching this series with a lot of trepidation and curiosity. I was keen to see how the Ticket to Heaven team would tackle the age-old issue of queer love and God, yet I really didn’t know if I wanted to be reminded of the many traumatic moments I faced as a queer teen in church.

Long story short, by the end of the show I was in tears. The scene that got to me the most was Tanrak and Father Arnon’s confessional scene in ep6 - how I wish more of us had a father figure who could and would tell us it was okay. That it wasn’t simply going to be a choice between faith and love. That God would love us regardless. It sounds simple right? But I’ve not had a single church figure tell me this before.

This single scene healed a small part of my heart that I didn’t know was hurting until this series. And for that I’m forever thankful to P’Aof and his team.

The other aspects of the series which I really loved were the cinematography (excellent, especially in the church scenes), as well as the acting from the cast, especially the main leads. I could feel every emotion from their eyes. Well done.

THE GOAT SERIES

What a beautiful series! I am telling you I have watched a lot of bl series but none have managed to capture my heart like this right from the first sequence of the first episode, it beginning with when the marriage bill passed in 2025. Right from the first episode, and the past beginning from their first meeting being wonderfully portrayed as planned by god and them getting close together. Tanrak getting curious about Barth and Barth getting curious about Tanrak. The feelings then capture them both and how the pure beauty of the love, the guilt, the regrets all build up beautifully to more confusion and attraction. More doubts, more love and they travel through it all in the most soul-rendering way. Time comes, they had to choose between themselves and god, and shall I say what better way to convey them through their eyes. Not much dialogues were needed for the actors showcased them all through their eyes. The love, lust, guilt and what not. The plot by the best director himself, the storylining, the cinematography, the coloring, the music, and the icing on top given by the actors themselves, Geminifourth as barthtanrak, this series will make you feel a lot of emotions throughout the six hours and I promise you, you'd want to rewatfh to catch all the little deets. One of the best series so far. And definitely my top 5. RELIGIOUS GUILT CAN BE OVERCOME. You can choose yourself as well as God. Faith and Love always comes together.

I genuinely loved everything about...

I already had a feeling this review was going to be a long one because I genuinely have so much I want to talk about. This wasn't just another BL for me. It was one of those series that constantly made me pause, think, and appreciate the amount of care that went into every little detail.

Let's start with the directing because Episode 3 had two details that completely blew me away, and I'm not sure how many people noticed them.

The first one was right at the beginning of the episode when Tanrak hesitated before touching the Holy Water. The way I interpreted it was that he hesitated because he had masturbated the previous night. In his mind, he had already given in to one of the deadliest sins, making himself unholy and unworthy of touching something sacred. It was such a subtle moment, but it said so much without a single line of dialogue.

The second detail, and probably my favorite in the entire series, was the confession scene. Barth and Tanrak stood on opposite sides of the door, with Barth standing in a brighter white light while Tanrak remained on the darker, orange-toned side. To me, this felt like a visual representation of Tanrak's state of mind. He believed that loving another man and having lustful feelings had already condemned him to Hell, while Barth, who he thought didn't share those feelings, still belonged in Heaven. But the moment Barth confessed, Tanrak opened the door, and they both ended up standing on the same orange-toned side. I don't know if this was exactly what P'Aof intended, but that's how I interpreted it, and it made that scene even more beautiful and impactful for me. ❤️

Moving on to the acting... Gemini and Fourth have always had incredible chemistry, so that wasn't a surprise. But compared to My School President and Love Mix-Up!, this felt like a huge step forward. Fourth's portrayal of Tanrak especially deserves so much appreciation. I've never personally experienced the kind of confusion, guilt, fear, and panic that Tanrak was dealing with, yet Fourth made every emotion feel so genuine that I found myself understanding and feeling everything alongside him.

The story itself was also something we don't get to see very often in BL. It wasn't just a romance; it constantly made me question and reflect on religion, faith, guilt, and what it truly means to love God.

I'll admit, there were moments at the beginning that were difficult for me to watch because my own beliefs are different. Personally, I don't believe loving God means living in constant fear or sacrificing every little piece of your happiness. To me, loving God means loving yourself, loving others, and doing good simply because it's the right thing to do, not because you're trying to earn a place in Heaven. If you're constantly terrified that God will reject you, then I don't think that's love.

And that's exactly why I loved where the story ended. Instead of forcing a choice between God and yourself, it beautifully showed that you can love both. You don't have to abandon your faith to be true to yourself, and you don't have to abandon yourself to stay close to God. That message was, without a doubt, the most beautiful part of the entire series.

Overall, I genuinely loved everything about Ticket to Heaven. The acting, the chemistry, the directing, the symbolism, and the story all came together beautifully. It's one of those series that stays with you long after you've finished watching it, and I know I'll be thinking about it for a very long time. 🤌❤️❤️

10/10 – A masterpiece. The BL of the millennium.

Ticket to Heaven isn’t just the best GeminiFourth series—it is one of the most unforgettable BLs I’ve ever watched.

Everything about this drama feels crafted with love and purpose. The cinematography is breathtaking, every frame looks like a painting, the editing is seamless, and the direction knows exactly when to be quiet and let emotions speak for themselves. The soundtrack deserves endless praise as well; the main theme will forever be tied to this beautiful story in my heart.

But what truly makes Ticket to Heaven extraordinary is Gemini and Fourth. This is, without a doubt, the best performance of their careers. Their chemistry has always been special, but here they reached another level. Every smile, every tear, every moment of silence felt genuine. They didn’t just play Barth and Tanrak—they became them.

Barth and Tanrak gave me laughter, hope, heartbreak, and love in ways I never expected. Their journey felt real, human, and deeply moving. These are the kind of characters that stay with you long after the final episode ends.

This series reminded me why I fell in love with BLs in the first place. It tells a story with sensitivity, maturity, and incredible emotional depth. It’s the kind of drama that leaves an imprint on your soul.

Thank you to everyone who brought this masterpiece to life. And thank you, Gemini and Fourth, for giving us a performance that I will never forget.

BarthTanrak forever. 🤍

This wasn’t just a drama.

It was an experience.

The cinematography is good and I loved how the story did not make us feel that by being queer you need to abandon your faith or that when you are faithful you need to abandon how you identify yourself. I also love how it realistically portray that even if you already come into terms with your queerness there is still a lingering guilt. Overall, it was great and that even though I wish it was longer it did ended perfectly and was able to sent a good message that faith and love are not mutually exclusive.

Catholic Guilt Meets Pure Love

As an atheist, I am always intrigued by Catholic Guilt and Original Sin. I can't understand the 'struggles' Catholics have with love, and the purity of the feelings that we evolved as a species to embrace.
Having said that, I found this series profound, getting to the nub of the problem. Poor Tanrak had such a hard time, because he'd been brainwashed to believe that, if he "sinned" he wouldn't go to Heaven to meet up with his parents again. Then along came Barth The Disrupter, who had him questioning his beliefs. Barth was a breath of fresh air in the boring, stultified atmosphere of the Catholic Boys home/school.
Along the way, 'Auntie Lek", (who is that actor?) who showed Tanrak that he could love himself, Barth, and still love his god. This was a turning point for Tanrak, but, right up 'til the final ten minutes of ep6, I did not think Tanrak and Barth were together - I assumed the priest that was being ordained that day was Tanrak. This mystery held the audience in suspense from the opening scenes of ep1 until the final closing moments.
Gemini and Fourth had me in tears and laughter -their performances were beautiful and timeless.
The script was well written, and wove a story of angst, pain, laughter, and love, into a
warm blanket.
Even knowing the ending, I would watch this again.
