A bunch of fun-sized stories, all sprinkled with a little mysticism and superstition. The best part? If one story doesn’t charm you, no worries — just hop to the next. The characters and plots aren’t connected, so there’s zero emotional commitment required.

It’s like opening a box of totally random cookies. One’s classic mint chocolate, the next is mango-chili, and then — bam — strawberries with black pepper, buried under way too much pink frosting and rainbow sprinkles. You literally never know what’s coming… and honestly, that’s half the fun.
Most of the stories were genuinely entertaining and kept me smiling. A couple didn’t quite land for me — but hey, not every cookie can be your favorite flavor. Overall though? Fun.
My absolute favorite was MuTeLuv: Love Lock — nothing wild or dramatic, just soft, sweet, and feel-good. I also loved MuTeLuv: “Hi” by My Luck — so fun, so charming, and honestly kind of perfect… especially if you’re into BL. And then there’s MuTeLuv: Fist Foot Fusion — silly, lighthearted, and very enjoyable. Am I slightly biased because of Sky Wongravee? …Maybe. Probably. Yes.

Overall, it’s a cute little anthology with some genuinely strong stories hidden inside. My average score would be 6.5, but I’m rounding it up to an 7 (in my grading system, that's actually a good grade.) because the good ones really are that good.

I’d recommend this series to anyone in the mood for something easy, sweet, and low-stress — like dessert, but calorie-free

A complete review

MuTeLuv is definitely a series worth watching. A lot of the stories in this one is better than a lot of full series. Here is who every story would fit along with my own review and thoughts:

"Hi" by My Luck: This fits everybody who have had/have a fear of failure, people who were/are the smart kid in school, people who just wanna have a good time.
This story is super fluffy, barely any angst or conflict. Basically all the characters are redeemed in the end. This story managed to find its place right into my heart in a period where I needed it the most.
WHO IT DOESN'T FIT: People who wants very serious stories, people who are tired of school stories

Not My Father: Simply put, if you enjoyed Peaceful Property (who's director also directed Not My Father!), you're probably gonna love this as well. If you haven't watched it, then if you love cults, comedy and relationships that hit right into the heart, then watch this. This reminded me so much of Peaceful Property and made me so happy.
WHO IT DOESN'T FIT: People who don't like scary dramas, people who take things very seriously

Diva Deva Meta: This fits people who are just there for a good time, who enjoys comedy. This story surprised me with it's emotional ending, and also in a way reminded me of Mean Girls, not the plot, just the vibes.
WHO IT DOESN'T FIT: People who wants a serious drama, people who wants real plot (and I mean that in the best way possible.)

Fist Foot Fusion: This fits people who likes the actors, thinks the premise sounds fun and doesn't care too much about deep relationships. I've heard many people say that this is the worst one, and I'm willing to agree, BUT I think it's mainly the relationship between the characters.
WHO IT DOESN'T FIT: People who wants the emotional relationships, people who wants all characters to be good

Hello, Is This Luck?: This fits anyone who likes the premise, people who have been/is currently struggling with mental health issues. This one surprised me with how much I liked it and how much I could relate to the characters.
WHO IT DOESN'T FIT: People who are easily triggered by mental health issues, people who don't like very contemporary stories

Love Lock: This fits people who believe in second chances in life, who like comedy and stories about exes making up. I'm gonna be honest and say that this story wasn't for me, but I truly believe it has its right audience somewhere.
WHO THIS DOESN'T FIT: People who believe in "once a bad person, always a bad person", people who might have delt with bad exes in the past.

Love Me if You Swear: This fits people who like the premise and who likes the small things. I really liked this one and I think it's a great one to close off with.
WHO IT DOESN'T FIT: People who don't like the premise, people who dislike slowburn

Overall, MuTeLuv is a great series and you don't have to watch them all, pick one that chooses your taste, cause I can asure you that you'll find at least one.

Something GMMTV should try every year

I was only going to watch this for janjingjing but ended up watching the whole thing. GMMTV should really do stuff like this every year, adds some variety to their roster beyond the usual fixed pair series. I liked all the pairs and combos that we got that we got. Also really like how all the stories are connected by the theme of using rituals/beliefs to find love.
That being said they could have really given us one fully gl slot, no leemahi+na don't really count. We had 2 bls, the least they could do was give one gl.

-'Hi my luck' and 'hello is this luck' were the best stories. So cute and layered, especially hello my luck with Na's story. I really liked all the couples too.
-Noticing Parn was the only good thing from 'not my father', will be looking for her other series
-Diva Deva Mata was a bore to me, not my kind of humour
-Fist foot fusion tried, should have been a primpiploy gl

Desperately needed a throughline

I know that this series was meant to be a collection of short stories. However, because they all have a central theme, I kind of expected there to be SOME kind of overlap between the stories. In general, the stories are about using some kind of supernatural means to get what you want, and oftentimes these attempts backfire. Each story has its own characters, own director, and own themes that somehow relate to this. Still, I think it would have been WAY more fun if there were characters that popped back up, whether that be in the form of cameos or having the same fortune teller/temple/etc. come back into play. Instead, these are seven totally separate stories, some of which are not worth watching at all. Because this is technically one show, I'm only reviewing it here so here's the breakdown of what I would rate each storyline:

Not My Father! - 8/10
Diva Deva Mata - 1/10
Fist Foot Fusion - 1/10
Hello, Is This Luck? - 3/10
Love Lock - 7/10
Love Me If You Swear - 9/10

I'm sorry, but some of these could NOT keep my attention. In the case of Diva Deva Mata and Fist Foot Fusion, I could not bring myself to care about these characters nor their problems. It was too goofy, and not at all enjoyable for me. I know, I could have just skipped these storylines because again there is no real throughline here and I wouldn't miss anything; still, for completeness I did want to watch them all. If you're wanting to watch some of this show, PLEASE just pick the storylines that sound good to you - there is no reason to watch all of these, and you will not miss out on anything by skipping one (or multiple). Plus, whoever decided that this should air once a week for TWENTY-EIGHT weeks??? Come on now. You should've aired two eps a week minimum for something like this. I will say, the good ones are GOOD - I really enjoyed the cult plot of Not My Father! and REALLY loved Surf and Java as rival gang leaders in Love Me If You Swear. Unfortunately, the high highs were paired with some really low lows. I absolutely do not recommend watching this show in its entirety; read each storyline plot first and then decide if it's worth your time - some of them definitely are, and some are definitely not.

Esperimento ben riuscito

Io sono sempre convinta che le serie antologiche della GMMTV funzionino. E permettono ad un sacco di attori di avere lavoro, quindi topissimo per questo.
Ora vi presento la mia personale classifica delle mini serie (chiaramente a me piacciono i prodotti LGBTQ+ della GMMTV, quindi not so wiredly questi saranno al primo posto, detto ciò non vuole dire che le altre serie non mi sono piaciute, anzi, mi hanno intrattenuto parecchio tutte, dalla prima all'ultima):
1. Hi by my luck: devo dire che questa mini serie è veramente la mia preferita, mi è piaciuto molto il modo con cui hanno gestito il tempo (in fatto di 4 episodi) e per me SeaKeen sono veramente due cuccioli che vanno protetti ad ogni costo.
2. Love me if you swaer: che ve lo dico a fare? SurfJava super promossi, se si considera anche che questo è stato il primo prodotto che hanno girato assieme.
3. Diva Dava Meta: sono sincera, questa serie mi è piaciuta molto, mi sono piaciuti i personaggi e i loro ruoli e mi è piaciuto addentrarmi in questo mondo così a me noto sulla superficie (visto che vedo serie Thai da anni), ma che comunque risulta un po' sconosciuto.
4. Hello is this luck?: allora, al netto che secondo me hanno cambiato la trama rispetto al mock trailer sono contenta di aver visto un primo inizio di JanJyngJyng che mi rende super sat e ready per EWB.
5. Love Lock: questo viaggio Giapponese di Dew e Jamie devo dire che è stato apprezzato. Sono stata molto felice di aver visto il cambiamento nel personaggio di Dew, anche se è un po' meh il fatto che lo abbia fatto per una ragazza appena conosciuta e non per la sua ragazza storia. è anche vero che questa storia ci insegna che è solo la persona giusta che ci fa cambiare.
6. First Foot Fusion: bene, queste ultime due serie non è che non mi sono piaciute è solo che sono quelle che ho sentito più la necessità di avere qualche episodio in più, sopratutto per la prossima. Detto ciò, ho messo prima questa perché c'era Mark Pakin e perché Prim e Sky sono carinissimi.
7. Not my father: allora, ecco questa è quella unica serie che sento sarebbero stati utili almeno altri due episodi per avere una visione completa di quello che stava succedendo. Detto ciò, comunque è molto carina e Ski e Prem sono stati un'accoppiata ilare.

Detto ciò, esperimento ottimamente riuscito.

I loved them in Only Boo, but Keen-Sea are beyond just cute in this 4 episode 'Hi' By My Luck'..they are totally scream-worthy....even with a simple story, and only 4 episodes, they will have your heart in a stronghold....I can not have enough...just cannot...I now want a full series of their melty-cutesy-adorable love story.

SHORT BUT MEANINGFUL

Short but meaningful — that’s how I’d describe this series "Hi By My Luck". It may only have a few episodes, but it left a soft, lasting feeling in me. Even though the actors are still rookies, they did such a great job portraying their characters. Their acting felt effortless, natural, and genuine — like they weren’t trying too hard. It never felt forced or cringey, and that’s what made me stay until the end.

Keen as Er really stood out to me. He acted so naturally that it didn’t feel like acting at all. You can see the emotions in his eyes — simple yet sincere.

Sea as Mawin also did amazing. He’s calm, expressive, and has this natural charm that fits his character so well. There’s nothing more to say — he just did it right.

The supporting characters also added warmth to the story. Everyone did a good job; no one felt out of place. It’s something I always admire about Thai series — the way their acting feels so real and heartfelt.

To be honest, I didn’t watch the rest of MuteLuv’s episodes — I only watched this one because of SeaKeen. But even so, I’m glad I did, because their chemistry and performance made “Hi By My Luck” feel special to me.

Overall, “Hi By My Luck” might be short, but it’s worth watching. It’s one of those dramas that doesn’t need to try hard to make you feel something. It’s simple, honest, and comforting — and that’s what makes it special to me.

La historia de Satsuki con el chico que salía al final todos iguales.

MuTeLuv: Uma Série de Promessas Não Cumpridas

Algumas coisas na vida não valem nosso tempo!

Na minha visão, os principais problemas de 'MuTeLuv' são a falta de qualidade e o ritmo irregular por causa do formato de antologia. Creio que ter sete histórias diferentes é a principal causa desses problemas.

Para mim, a qualidade instável é quase impossível de evitar em uma série com várias histórias. Algumas partes são incríveis, enquanto outras são bem fracas. A direção, o roteiro e a interação entre os atores mudam bastante entre os episódios, o que me obriga a aguentar partes menos interessantes para chegar às melhores.

Além disso, percebo que o desenvolvimento das histórias parece apressado. Cada trama, contada em poucos episódios, acaba sofrendo com o ritmo acelerado. Relações que deveriam se desenvolver lentamente parecem forçadas ou apressadas, resultando em finais que parecem superficiais ou não muito merecidos.

Outro aspecto que me incomoda é a desconexão com o título. Em algumas partes, a relação com o elemento Mu-Te-Lu parece apenas uma fachada. O uso de adivinhação, amuletos ou rituais parece mais um truque para um clichê romântico, sem realmente aprofundar o elemento místico na resolução dos problemas.

Além disso, vejo que a série não consegue subverter os clichês do gênero BL. Ao contar várias histórias, ela frequentemente cai nos mesmos clichês já muito usados, como romances escolares repetitivos e o reaproveitamento de atores sem trazer algo novo.

Por fim, a série não se aprofunda nas questões éticas e dramáticas da superstição. O uso de rituais ou adivinhação para "encontrar o amor" muitas vezes é tratado de forma leve, sem explorar as consequências ruins ou a moral duvidosa de tentar controlar o destino para benefício pessoal.

Em resumo, acredito que o formato ambicioso de antologia de 'MuTeLuv' é o seu ponto fraco. A série oferece uma experiência fragmentada, em que os momentos brilhantes em algumas histórias são frequentemente ofuscados pela falta de consistência na narrativa, pelo ritmo acelerado e pela impressão de que uma ideia simples foi usada para reciclar clichês já conhecidos no gênero.
