aimless guys looking for something to hold onto

Overall: it was decent for a vertical series, but I've seen better. 44 episodes less than 2 minutes each Aired on Swipedrama app (also has Can a Freeloader Make it as a Secretary). It took me 5 days to watch the series for free which is pretty good (the worst took 13 days for Please Teach Me on TopReel). Note - episode 1 starts out as a preview and then goes into the episode. App information below.

Content Warnings: manipulation, suicidal thoughts, child abuse, slap, non con kiss

What I Liked
- realistic characters trying to figure things out
- sweet/caring moments
- non cliche female character
- intimacy

Room For Improvement
- started with a flash forward and then returned to a month before
- O Christmas Tree music
- although a character apologized I think he should have had more consequences for his actions
- noble idiot trope

How to Watch For Free
Day 1: check in, ad after check in = 7 coins, 3 ads = 9 coins, watched episodes 1-14 (free to watch), 15-17 used coins, 18 & 19 (when I ran out of coins I touched outside of the coin packages and then I could watch an ad to watch 2 more episodes 20 & 21). I then got the 6 coins for watching 5, 10 and 15 minutes and watched ep 22. There are other ways to get coins (ie sign in, social media, get notifications) so you could watch more. Leftover coins day 1: 2

Day 2: check in, ad after check in, 3 ads (17 coins plus 2 from day 1) - watched episodes 23-25, then watched 26 & 27 daily ad, checked in 5, 10 & 15 min and watched 28 & 29

Day 3, 4, 5 (same as above, about 7 episodes watched per day)

App Notes: unused bonus coins might last for a year (so this is a good app to do daily check ins to accumulate coins), episodes don't re-lock, you can't skip to different episodes (must watch them in order), no wait time between watching ads is nice

.

Thoughts: A unique 2-minute mini series spanning 44 episodes. Love can strike when you least expect it. Wish they expanded the story more, but it's still worth a watch. Mixed feelings about the series.

Sweet but very messy

This was a sweet story and well acted by the mains. If this was made as a normal movie it would have been great. Unfortunatly they made it as a short, so we have many cut off scenes and music. The makers of this really made a mess of it and that is a shame.

There were good moments of music but also anoying music and the music was cut off a lot of times.
The visuals were ok, most of the drama was very dark and a lot of the visuals get lost that way.

Because i liked the story and the acting of the mains watching it was worth it for me, but i won't watch it again.

Had potential

I think the story has potential to be a regular BL, sadly this short series wasn't as impressive as it could have been, had it been written more meticulously.

The cast is fine, chemistry isn't bad, acting also was acceptable, the direction however is all over the place, large portion of the draws revolves around Makoto and Yuki in a very unentertaining way, we get to see only a couple of scenes that actually shows the two leads communicating together, bear in mind that the whole plot is about two lost souls finding solace in eachother so if you didn't show that, then you missed the whole point.

As I said it needed some polishing and proper script, maybe a more experienced actors too, but overall it was a nice watch ~

Seriously Did Not Expect It to Be This Good...

I was genuinely surprised by how good this short drama was. It was super funny in the beginning and middle, but took a more serious turn toward the end. However, the opening was a bit confusing due to the characters wearing the same clothing style in both the past and present, making it hard to distinguish the timeline.

The story follows Makoto, who stumbles upon Ritsu singing and finds himself in a contract-like situation where Ritsu becomes his “pet.” In exchange, Ritsu agrees to cook, clean, and follow Makoto’s orders. Throughout the series, Ritsu encourages Makoto to stop running from his problems and face them head-on.

The core issue in Makoto's life revolves around his relationship with his girlfriend. Their love has faded over time, and the best friend is revealed to be the mastermind behind the breakup. While he initially causes tension, the best friend shows growth and redemption by the end.

Makoto, with his gentle and loving heart, struggles with communication, failing to express himself until the very last moment. On the other hand, Ritsu has his own emotional wounds to heal, particularly from his past with his mother. This shared experience helps him understand Makoto's struggles more deeply. Both characters are somewhat reflections of each other, and their chemistry is undeniable.

The pacing throughout the series is mostly solid, though the ending feels a bit rushed. Despite that, I would still highly recommend it. It’s funny, touching, and has a genuinely heartfelt story.
