Great Slow burn

Slow burn romance .. which I really appreciate .. the chemistry between the leads was well portrayed and the body swap concept is genius and different for a gl. It’s bold and satisfying to watch . That being said you really get to notice the small things like the pauses and the lingering looks everything was written and directed with intention and I love that for once it makes sense for characters to act how they are supposed to act. It’s grounded enough to seem real even though it’s fantasy and it doesn’t feel cheap or cheesy .. the deleted scene as well adds so much lore and layers to it… Must watch if you’re a fan of good witting and slow burn .. and the background characters themselves can carry their own everything was done with with intention and I loved that.

[1 - 2] Most compelling start of the year, can it keep up the high bar?

EP1 & EP2 review: wow.

EP1 hooked me; EP2 invested me.
Bold premise, really well executed.

EP1 did a fantastic job establishing the leads' distinct personalities, and then immediately flips it by having them play each other. Both actresses nail it, not only with the mannerisms, but also in carrying the emotional tone of the “borrowed” character. They perfectly embody the other while not losing their own essence.
It’s so well done it had me stopping to recalculate who’s who.

Within a single episode, the series showed the stark contrast in their lives; one living in luxury but deeply lonely, the other without that luxury, fighting to sustain herself and her family. Both carrying heavy burdens. By EP2, the story starts to hit deeper with both of them beginning to understand and even open up about the other’s struggles, giving the swap more heart. And then that cliffhanger? Perfect. I can't wait for the next EP!

The “actresses playing actresses” meta-layer adds such a smart twist! Watching them not only navigate each other’s lives, but also act in each other’s professional roles, is fascinating.
The comedic timing was so sharp, I actually laughed out loud, more than once.

The pacing was a bit fast, there's a lot packed in those 2 first episodes, but still did not feel overwhelming.

So far, the focus is almost entirely on the leads. It works for building their dynamic, as for the supporting characters it gives you enough to get you intrigued but doesn't give you enough to understand them, keeping them a bit underdeveloped as of now.

Only two EPs in, but it may have become the most compelling Thai GL series so far this year.
If they can keep up the balance between complexity of the story and clarity, it will be a hit.

10/10 It's perfect!
From the moment I saw the pilot I knew this is gonna be good, just not THIS good!! looked forward to it the most this year.
I'm seriously gonna miss this series so much... I was smiling through all of it, it was just so cute.
Every couple had a fair amount of screen time and a good story, I'm hoping to see more series, especially GLs, like this. Super Interesting and wasn't boring at all!! Which is something rare for me, because I don't usually find shows that entertain me through all the weeks of airing, especially romance stories.
I think people that never watched/read stories with a plot that includes body switch will be a bit weirded out by this at first, but I promise, it's not. Stories about body switching are personally really interesting.
Body switching usually happens for people to understand each other better, with that being the main purpose. Usually showing how each of them lives the life of other, seeing what they're going through and if they still wish to be them. This helps for a better understand and it plays an important role in getting close to each other as well.
In this case, It's the same. Each of them had to understand each other first for them to be able to switch back and realize that they should just be their own person.
The actresses were very impressive with it, it's definitely something that wasn't done before with gl shows and a new concept for it, so, I think they did perfectly. Their acting is on point and the chemistry is insanely good.
A 10 from me.

Queendom: cuando Freaky Friday se convierte en fanfic lésbico

Dios, ¿por dónde partir con Queendom? Esta serie es una comedia lésbica del primer amor, de esas que saben a algodón de azúcar y se ven igual. Estéticamente es una tarta de frutilla con glitter por encima, y emocionalmente es un abrazo suave que también te hace reír a carcajadas.

La trama gira en torno a Print y Rey, dos chicas diametralmente opuestas que un día, por cosas del universo (y de una queer mística), intercambian cuerpos al más puro estilo Freaky Friday. Y lo que podría haber sido solo un cliché más se transforma en una comedia romántica con alma propia.

Las actuaciones que sostienen la magia

P.amp (Print) se roba absolutamente todo. Su nivel actoral es brutal: sus ojos, sus gestos, la forma en que cambia su postura corporal según si está siendo Print o Rey, es simplemente increíble. Hay matices, detalles y una sensibilidad actoral que no esperas encontrar en una serie tan rosada.
Arhoung, quien interpreta a Rey, también está genial. Tal vez un poquito menos expresiva que P.amp, pero igual logra transmitir las capas de su personaje con claridad. Las dos brillan y sinceramente, quiero verlas en muchos más proyectos.
Vi Queendom sin expectativas, y creo que eso fue lo mejor. No intenté racionalizar lo inverosímil de la trama, simplemente la disfruté. La viví como esas romcoms que mis amigas amaban en la adolescencia —las típicas hetero, llenas de clichés que yo criticaba pero secretamente envidiaba porque quería tener una historia así. Y ahora, por fin, tenemos una. No perfecta, no profunda... pero hecha para hacernos sonreír sin culpa.
Además, las managers de las protagonistas se roban absolutamente la pantalla. Cada aparición es un mini show aparte. Las amo.
Y como dato curioso...
Vi Queendom justo mientras veía la segunda parte de Wednesday, y no supero que el capítulo 6 de la T2 y esta serie comparten la MISMA trama: dos personas totalmente opuestas —una oscura, intensa y tipo cuervo (Wednesday/Rey), y otra colorida, dulce y tipo Lucky Charms (Enid/Print)— que cambian de cuerpo por intervención de un personaje de estetica queer. Y que solo pueden volver a la normalidad si logran entenderse por completo.
Solo espero que Wednesday y Enid terminen casadas también, como Rey y Print

-พวกฉากที่ต้องมีคนเยอะ ๆ บางทีดูแล้วก็มีเอ๊ะบางว่าแบบ แค่นี้เหรอ? แต่ไม่ใช่อุปสรรคในการดู
-มีฉากให้กำลังใจเยอะมากกกกกกกกกกกกกกกกกก ยิ่งฉากพริ้นคุยกับเรย์หน้ากระจก น้ำตาจะไหล
-ความรู้สึกส่วนตัวที่ดูซีรีส์ gl มาหลายเรื่อง(แต่ไม่ได้ดูทุกเรื่อง) ให้ nc เรื่องนี้คือที่สุด ไม่มีซีน Dub-con หรือ Non-con ให้อึดอัด
