T0P:
So I read through all the character descriptions after someone in the thread mentioned it. Hyeon, the Prince’s aide, is described as an orphan that was left at the Prince’s doorstep. Isn’t that so suspicious? Is there any chance Hyeon is an illegitimate member of the royal family?
i dont think so

Ian’s mother died in a car accident involving a white truck. The rules of kdrama dictate, if the accident involves a white truck, it’s homicide. So does the white truck rule hold true for perfect crown? And, if so, who killed the former Queen and why?
I think it's most likely that I-an's mother was killed either by the Queen Dowager's father (bc it seems to be his M.O) or — hear me out on this one — I-an's father. I think she might have been trying to get her children out of the palace or she might have been an obstacle to the Queen Dowager's marriage to I-an's brother.
What I'm most curious about, is the beef between I-an and his brother; they obviously got along really well as kids but there was the whole wedding day scene and now I really want to know what could have riled I-an up to that point. Did he have a thing with the Queen Dowager before she was married? Did he find out that his brother knew something about whoever killed his mother?
I just hope it doesn't get messed up like 2521 and glad we don't have supernatural abilities like Alchemy of souls that the plot can go off track totally. But my sure bet I'd the queen and her dad killed the brother of grand prince and his parents for the throne. They want to either keep the current baby king as puppet or maybe will kill him and become king or something. And pm will become evil I feel and side with queen and her dad.
things i believe so far:
ian's brother (previous king) wasn't killed by a paper which was lit by his wife (debi mama).
jinmu (lord yun) wasn't kill the previous king because it becomes predictable.
the spy in ian's house is youngmoon/areum (but i guess it's youngmoon, usually the most person you rely is the one who stabs you in the back).
i have a strong feeling that huiju's sister-in-law killed the person who tampered huiju's car because that person pay the stuff with castle pay which ceo of the castle card is huiju's brother. also when they heard huiju's telling them who the suspect, after that the person was suddenly killed.
kim jaegyeong is just a distraction of the story, i don't think she has a big role
[bonus] it would be mind-blowing if one of their secretary or PM are an antagonist lol
I have a new theory based on Steve Noh's comments (on a TV variety show) suggesting that a character is going to die.
An assassin is instructed by the hidden villain(s) to kill the Grand Prince's fiancé
The marriage will called off, having been vetoed by the Prime Minister
The Grand Prince will become engaged to Kim Jae Gyeong (The Queen Dowager's choice & Han Da Yeong's frenemy)
The assassin will assassinate Kim Jae Gyeong (and not Seong Hui Ju as originally intended!)
The hidden villain(s) become exposed and face justice for their crimes
The marriage between the Grand Prince and Seong Hui Ju is back on, this time without a divorce clause.
Yadda yadda yadda, happily ever after
Athens:
Okay my 3 cents on the things that will happen at some point
1) FML and ML will divorce at some point (maybe in the end, where we will get the stupid cliche of them separated)
2) ML will change the law to allow FML to work when married to him
3) He will also change the law and impose a "minimum age"" to someone to be a king. This will allow his nephew to have a normal life before things start to get chaotic. And he will be the king at this time.
Don't think any divorce drama would be necessary, as they seem to be falling in love with each other more as episodes go by.
Agree with point 2 and 3, Ian changing the law in school seems like a foreshadowing, that he will again change the law for FML.
After ep. 7 I changed my mind a little bit.
1. I-An is most link become the king.
All episodes showed how absurd it was to have a children King... The Actual Kin is sooo cute but he def can't be a King right now.
2. There is no redemption to the Queen
We are half wat trought and we didn't have any indice of redemption. I don't if she will be fully punished bc it would demage the Royal Family image. Maybe she caused the incedy but didn't kill the King? And if he caused the incedi, how I-An was able to get the royal edict?
3. The actual King isn't the former King son
From the feedback we see that I-An had a very good relationship if the Queen when she was Crown Princess (probbly still fiance). Things changed probably around the marriage time... So she made something to press the former King to marry her...
4. The PM isn't going to take the evil route
He likes Huiji but he really cares about the country, he won't do anything that could damage the Royal Family and the stability of the country.
5. That damn contract
Like... Why?!??!? Why they created an evidence for their scheme?? Isn't even like they can use the contract as a proof of somithing because it would do more bad than good for them if the contract became public... We had already one broke up, I don't think we'll have another. But I foreseen problemns coming from the contract. Maybe the spy is going to find it?

OMG this is my favorite, I had no idea there was a color guide to the truck of doom!
Here are my theories/predictions:
- The King committed suicide after writing the abdication edict, the Queen burned his room down to hide the evidence.
- In a twist, Jin Mu isn't actually the villain either (the Queen's father) or is working with someone else
- HJ's father is the one who cut her breaks and has been trying to sabotage the marriage, and maybe even killed I-ANs mother because of his own corrupt political ties
- After all the truth of the murders and corruption that has plagued the royal family for decades comes out, I-AN will abolish the monarchy, and him an HJ will just live as reg people
