Both are cultural slice of life dramas that showcase local culture. While Bloom Life is set in Kashgar of Xingjian, Fragrance of the Pomegranates is set in a town/village at the foot of Tianshan Mountains in Xingjian. Both shows also showcase lives of different people living in the respective places.
