The similarity in both Never Forget Your Enemy and Secret Lover is that the main couples are childhood friends that turn to lovers. Also, one of the boys secretly keeps girls from approaching his friend by dating them. It started as a requited love then they became boyfriends in their later years after high school.

I am getting some old school tharntype vides from the first few episodes where one of them is more forceful and the other is confused.

Both are Taiwanese BL dramas with both sides of the main couple having very different personalities. This together with miscommunication drives most of the difficulties in the BL couple relationship.

There aren't any plot similarities between the two dramas, but if you like the obsessive and yearning ML paired with the calmer and more level headed ML dynamic, you will love both BLs. Both dramas are masterpieces, but Secret Lover won't give you nearly as much trauma as To My Shore lol.
