Some things could have been done better
There were way too much flashbacks these time and some things really really could have done better and have more of a punch and some things were done well but could have really pushed the envelope on teamwork, and awesome planning.1. Pasin could have just written on a piece of paper that he has a chip and his son is in danger. I fwd a lot of Jinman in thai coz half the time it was just a mess. this part was just no compelling and seeing Pasin turn on his team looking like a soulless robot was just stupid when he could have somewhat conveyed the msg, they could have used the chip and gave wrong intel while working on saving the son and removing the chip.
2. Jian half the time trying too hard to hate on the uncle without understand Babylon history.
3. Bale getting killed by Jinman in the dark, that was not a worthy ending. He should have been there with that jap korean woman at the end fighting the last fight. Jian kills the lady and jinman kills bale. that would have been a worthy ending.
4. the shooting and fighting at the end was kind of meh. they were a whole lot fighting against 1 woman.
5. except for unni and brother from s1, the rest their relationships with Jian are not really developed and its hard to believe they are even close.
some revelations just did not pull the wow punch at all. it was kind of ok so that happen.

I'm conflicted
The people who loved season 1, myself included, were yearning for a new season for a hot minute now. Very different atmosphere and setting from season 1 which is understandable due to the consequences from the previous developments and it was to be expected.Season one is objectively almost perfect. Story wise, fight scenes and performances are all equally amazing and well rounded into one cohesive story while season two has, in my personal opinion, even better performances and epic scenes but it is hugely lacking in the storytelling and pacing aspect, which give the season so much damage.
I loved the characters more this season, everyone did an INCREDIBLE job. I also cried my eyes out several times. Showing this season that nobody is safe and no plot armor can save your favorite characters made me also appreciate the story even more than before but by the end of it, it felt forced and cheap. Killing off a bunch of significant characters for shock value loses the impact and emotional depth for the audience. After so many loved characters (POINTLESSLY) lost, last two episodes basically served no point and didn't feel like the climax that it should have been.
Pacing of the last two episodes were atrocious and too predictable. It leaves us with plot holes and questions that i don't know if we will ever get. The washing off and wasting some of the characters (Q, Pasin, Woojin, even Jinman and Minhye) made a huge negative impact of the season counter to the expectation and knowledge how insanely loved and complex the characters actually are and reducing them to just mindless points in your story made zero sense and painful to watch.
What i NEED to point out, and it is extremely important to see is the female dominance in an action based show. There is no gender gap, i was faced with brilliant, capable and intelligent women that were CONSTANTLY in the center of the story and never sidelined.
I would leave it at that as it has been just a few minutes since i finished the show and my thoughts are all over the place.

A perfect example where writers don't understand the characters
ASFK2 is filled with great casts. Their acting was top tier, cgi was great. If compared with other shows, this is great, but compared to season 1, it is messy and quite lacking. The emotional portay and storyline felt very 2D and shallow compared to season 1. The casts tried tried to save whatever the bullshit the screenwriter wrote. Acting is great, story was great, but things are starting to fall off in season 2....
What I liked:1. Definitely the acting. These actors did a good job of selling me on their roles, and making me feel genuine empathy for the characters.
2. The story for me in the first season of the show was unmatched. At the end of every episode I was hyped to learn more about the characters and what made this system to be. Which brings me to what I started to dislike in season 2:
1. I hate that they killed off the Woojin guy so soon. Like why? She shouts Jeong Jinman at the sky 3 times and every thing is fixed, little miss girl, why didn't you do that beforehand??? Is the moral of the show that Jian has to be depressed for the rest of her life or something??? Why are you trying to make me cry every two seconds guys?? It's not going to work I'm sorry, this is just pissing me off at this point.

A Shop for Killers: Season 2 (2026) — 10/10 Masterpiece!
Bigger stakes, intense retaliation, and a mind-blowing continuation."Season 2 took everything that made the first season amazing and escalated it to a global level! With Jeong Jin-man back in action alongside Ji-an, the dynamic counterattack against Babylon was non-stop adrenaline from start to finish.
🌟 What Made Season 2 Outstanding:
The Dynamic Duo: Seeing Ji-an officially step up as the CEO of Murthehelp alongside Jin-man’s long-awaited comeback was pure hype! Their chemistry and tactical coordination were top-tier.
Expanded Universe & Babylon Conflict: Expanding the story beyond the original novel to introduce international threats and new characters (like Masaki Okada as J) added incredible weight to the narrative.
Next-Level Action Choreography: The action sequences were even more explosive and brutal than Season 1, keeping the high-stakes tactical realism we loved.
Fast-Paced & Gripping: Just like the first season, zero filler episodes—8 episodes of pure storytelling, payback, and tension.

❤️ One of My Favorite Thriller-Suspense K-Dramas Ever!
As a 24-year-old guy who has been watching K-dramas for a long time, A Shop for Killers 2 was exactly the kind of intense, stylish and addictive thriller I love. I absolutely loved the storyline, the suspense, the action, and the way the drama keeps pulling you deeper into its world. It has that gripping atmosphere where every episode makes you want to immediately watch the next one. Without giving anything away, this has easily become ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE THRILLER-SUSPENSE K-DRAMAS THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN!And of course, Lee Dong-wook (LDW)! 😍 He once again proves why he is one of my most favorite Korean actors. He is ridiculously handsome, but more importantly, his screen presence and acting are phenomenal. Kim Hye-jun is absolutely beautiful and delivers such a powerful performance, and the chemistry and dynamic between them are one of the highlights for me. Both of them completely own their roles, and I honestly could not imagine anyone else playing these characters.
Geum Hae-na, Hyunri, and the rest of the cast were also fantastic. Everyone brings something memorable to the story, and the performances make the whole world feel much more intense and believable. I especially loved how the characters are written and how the storyline continues to unfold without losing its suspense. There is a great balance of action, mystery, tension and character moments that kept me completely invested.
Overall, A Shop for Killers 2 was an absolute thrill ride for me. 🔥 I loved the storyline, the cast, the performances, the atmosphere and practically everything about it. As someone who has watched K-dramas for years, I can confidently say this is **one of my favorite thriller-suspense K-dramas ever**. LDW remains one of my favorite Korean actors, Kim Hye-jun was phenomenal, and the entire cast delivered. If you love suspenseful, action-packed K-dramas with an addictive storyline, this one absolutely deserves a spot on your watchlist!

HOW does someone even come up with something this crazy, respectfully,This show is in a league of its own. It was so good I genuinely forgot to breathe multiple times.
First thing first despite having TWO seasons, the story actually remains cohesive. No random plot gymnastics. The writing actually knows where it’s going.
The acting and action? S-class. Absolutely ridiculous. Every scene had something going for it, and the emotional moments knew their job. They linger just long enough for you to actually FEEL the weight of what happened before throwing you straight into the revenge plot. And when the revenge finally comes, youre not just watching you feel it too.
Loved that the story isn’t obsessed with the usual “save this, save that, sacrifice everything for the greater good” they are mercenaries bro be real. A lot of it is far more personal business, compromises, loyalties, grudges, and people making very questionable decisions for very understandable reasons.
Loved it, oh and the robots hate them.

THE ACTION: I personally didn’t see any better action in this season. That knife fight between Jianman and Bale alone in season 1 is far better than all the fights in season 2 put together.
THE CGI: It was what it was. But that scene where the two photographs are blown away by the wind was just too much. I did like those terminator bots, though.
Overall, I’m very very disappointed in this season. Yes, it’s very unlikely that season 2 would top season 1, for any show, even though there are exceptions (Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul). But the least they could’ve done was not make this show so ordinary, devoid of the sheer force, grit, and heart that season 1 was. Deviating from the source material was a PHENOMENAL MISTAKE on their part.
THE VILLAINS: Gone are the dread and absolute horror that Bale induced in the first season. There’s not a single scene that comes even close to his scene of dropping grenades in that room full of women, and his subsequent evil stare of dark delight. His replacements are two entitled ladies, who yap a lot, especially the boss, say cheesy lines, act out, make faces, and just end up being a caricature. Annoying and laughable? Absolutely. Menacing or dread-inducing? Oh, please.
THE TWISTS: None of the twists, and I mean none of the twists, were unpredictable. The writing was so pedestrian at times that the twists became an obvious course of action. The one place they could’ve inserted a fine twist was when Pasin was made into a traitor. Right there, was a fine opportunity to make him into a double agent, but they missed it and messed up the whole thing. Him becoming a traitor felt so forced and out of character. I was once surprised, though, when Jianman announces to Pasin that he’s now the kidnapper of his son, but that went absolutely nowhere, as Pasin is killed off five minutes later, making the “twist” irrelevant.The creators decided to go their own way for this season, which is absolutely fine, and I would applaud them for that, but only if the result wasn’t so… ORDINARY.
In and of itself, this season is a fine one-time watch. But the moment you put season 1 into perspective, this season looks very amateurish and downright silly.
Following are some of the amateurishness / silliness I encountered:

infinity/100 gila apa yang kurang? ga ada wkakakka, dari segi acting, kamera, backsound, alur gila semua perfect, sampe gabisa berkata kata, acting si jian pas nangisin brother bener bener sakit banget tangisnya aku ikutan sesek dan sakit hati perasaan dia tersampaikan dengan baik ke penonton, satu episod pun ga ada yang zonk sama sekali dari S1 isinya daging semua, beberapa cerita tuh kadang masih ada yang gabisa diterima logika terus beberapa detail juga kadang kurang tapi itu semua ketutup sama penjelasan strategi mereka kaya gila banget, drakor yang ga ragu ngasih tumbal semua jadi ubi anjir 😭😭 beberapa orang sempet sebel sama pasin walaupun sebel juga aku tapi paham kenapa dia harus begitu, dia juga ga ada niatan buat bunuh tim nya semua cuma dilumpuhkan karena dia tau tim nya hebat walaupun dilumpuhkan mereka masih op wkekekke, babylon keren tau dia teknologinya mantep ada robot perang gitu amaze sih bisa mengurangi manusia untuk mati dan robot juga susah buat dimatiin, mau minta s3 gaenak kasian capek ya 😭😭 mau aja sih aku mah s3 tapi gimana ya gakuat kalo ada yang ditumbalin lagiWas this review helpful to you?

Never Disappointed
She is all grown up. Her acting is brilliantly poetrayed as someone who suffered due to Season 1.A social outcast because she lacks trust in others due to Season 1.
She is still upset with her uncle because of what she experienced in Season 1.
Overall it is BRILLIANT!!! The script writers, and directors 👌

An Intense, Emotional Ride That Delivers
What a ride. Season 2 did not disappoint.I really like that the first episodes filled in what happened to Jeong Jin-man (Lee Dong-wook) that we didn't see in Season 1. I was glued to the screen the entire time—it was packed with non-stop action.
One thing I loved was seeing Jeong Ji-an (Kim Hye-jun) as an ordinary person first, and then watching the transformation she went through because of everything that happened along the way. It made her growth feel earned and powerful. The fight scenes were incredible, and the acting across the board was top-tier.
Some parts are genuinely upsetting, but that rawness is necessary. Life isn't always a fairy tale, and this drama doesn't pretend otherwise. Those hard moments help the characters grow, which made the journey all the more meaningful.
I really hope there's another season.

Honestly I don't know what yall are talking about this season was way better, I loved it so much, the world building, the action sequences, the pacing was perfect, everything was so good it blew my mind sooo good, Jinman felt untouchable with his skill and I felt the fear on everyones eyes when he would always escape or come out alive after they try to capture him. I think one reason why the first season was so good for everyone is beacuse of the questions that arose..with the best cliff hanger ever.. but season 2 continued off of it esepcially with the first episode going through what Jinman was doing which was crazy cool mind you, even the main villain girl pissed me the heckkkk off I don't think I've been more annoyed at a villain there was something about her that made me want to punch the screen, wehn Jian killed her the satisfaction that overcame me was insane.Also Qs character was so interesting..you felt mixed the entire time but so many times you found yourself siding with her and hoping shes good...and her brother......fine SHYTE bro..had me in awe on the screen..
This show knows how to make you love a character and hate them..because Bale...god I wanted to actually just stop watching he's so...eugh..but the first season Pasin was my favourite character second season the anger I felt towards him was crazy.
The pacing was a little off beause they spent a lot of time exploring Jian and building her new world only to shatter it which made me curious, usually when it comes to shows like this when the lead wants to run away from the action, I'm always against it because why would you not want this its so cool, but the way they built her world geniunely made me so angry at Jinman for causing this to be her world..but the ending episodes were so good and felt so satisfying
The only thing I would sue this stupid show for doing was killing off MY BOY Woojin T-T....I geniunely cried.. worst character death ever...that man was everything to me :( they spent episodes building his character and why he was so amazing and perfect for Jian only for them to kill him off..like they spent so long getting us attached I hate the writers for this >:-/
