Dead-End Job Episode 1 Reactions
It wasn’t what I expected based on what I saw in the trailer.Did I like it? Yes, overall, but I didn’t particularly enjoy it. The beginning was fine; it establishes the protagonist’s situation. But the way he ends up in that job is...I’m not even sure how to explain it properly. For one thing, I think the mystery and suspense they were trying to build needed more development. It lacked atmosphere and a certain degree of credibility. That made it tedious at times, and it wasn’t until the action started that I actually began to enjoy the episode.I thought the performances and the effects were good.

Really good start. Love the openingh credits and the 2 bit videogame animations. Very nostalgic. This ep was absolutely hilarious. I knocked points off though b/c CGI not that great even though the rat monster was gross and scary. For some reason when the loan shark said the guy was making a lot of money on the foreign gay site I LOL. Just so random. OMG I had no idea that was Choi Hyun Wook as the 2nd part-timer until I just looked at the cast list. What a difference a hair color makes. I was totally digging his vibe.
