It should have been good...
It started off cheesy and hilarious and sexy. So idk what went wrong. But it's like a snoozefest sandwiched between a hot beginning and a hot ending. The middle is SUCH a slog. I mean the kisses were great. But the kilig is really really missing, and it didn't have that My Lethal Man over the top makjang crack-addictive plot. You think when it starts out that its giving MLM, but really it's totally not.We know these two actors are hot enough to burn a hole in my CPU. Not only that, but they are also really good at the actual act of 'acting', which is more than can be said for many (coughcoughcoughkaisosocoughcough). So what went wrong. How did this happen. Answers to these kinds of questions are above my paygrade, and outside the realm of my psychic intuition. Needless to say, it was just a disappointment.
It's times like these I find myself alone on a hilltop, the stormy night howling through the billowing sleeves of my black sequined dragon robes, my full length ice white hair alight in the wind, my hands outstretched shooting mad bolts of lightning into the sky, crying in confusion, "JUSTWHY!"
So anyways. I regretfully have to give it a 6.5... and what that means is it's actually a 6 (that's right, I said SIX, I know what I said) but with a spicy kiss as the thoughtful after dinner mint that comes on a little tray when they bring you the check.

For the most part it's a fun binge-able show!
This show started off so soap -opera like but with so much tension and chemistry between the main leads that I was hooked. Was it ridiculous? Yes. Was it cringy? Beyond yes. Did it leave a smile on my face? Yes. But I agree that the plot in the middle was too long and it "lost its way." The ending was mostly satisfying but the background information on the twins and how they parted was given no air time. Side note, OST was pretty good! One last thing, the main leads are so ridiculously attractive. and I loved their spicy scenes🔥🔥🔥.Was this review helpful to you?

I have started watching it few days ago and when I was at episode 3 or 4 i got that it was the drama i was craving for .. here is your sign to watch it , it's drama that will make you feel butterfly chaos in your skin i really liked it ...🫶🏻i watched only 12 because 12 are released only but the drama that tell you so much in just 12 it is worth watching...Was this review helpful to you?
The chemistry/ handsome ML
What a great watch!!! I love the main couple pairing!!!! ML is at his best acting!!! FL is beautiful!!! I hope that ML will get casted for longer dramas as his acting is awesome and so natural!!! He would make a great general lead in a historical genre or an alpha CEO lead on modern romance.Looking forward to watch more of his drama!!! I enjoy this drama so much, watched in one setting!!! O início do drama é bem parecido com o drama, também chinês, My Lethal Man, principalmente pela situação da FL. Já o ML daqui tem motivações diferentes para apoiá-la, mas muita coisa me fez lembrar bem o drama citado.Os episódios são considerados curtos, de 15 minutos, então a dinâmica é bem rápida, a interação dos atores principais que fazem a FL e o ML é boa, mas cenas de beijo deixaram a desejar, até chegarmos no último beijo, da cena final, ali sim pareciam realmente sintonizados, mas também é justificável pelo desenvolvimento da história.
Já o marido é desprezível e seus abusos e dissimulação em confrontar a FL como sempre segue o clichê chinês que me dá náuseas.
Acho que chegou um momento que virou plot em cima de plot e acabou ficando além da conta, mas deu para passar o tempo. Me lembrei também de Embrace in the dark night, não só pela atriz, mas por alguns pontos.
