A fun watch with 3 ridiculously attractive leads!

First off, I loved the three main characters and the side characters that helped them complete their tricks. That being said, the show started to slow down in the middle for me and I had to push through to finish it. I wonder what would have happened if they skipped the whole cute-rich-girl-kidnapped-for-money-scheme and it was just three people who sought to make money while righting the wrongs of people in power who abused others. I don't think the connection of how that that traumatic experience shaped the FL was developed and discovering who the mastermind was and the con to get him were not as satisfying as I would have liked.

For the most part it's a fun binge-able show!

This show started off so soap -opera like but with so much tension and chemistry between the main leads that I was hooked. Was it ridiculous? Yes. Was it cringy? Beyond yes. Did it leave a smile on my face? Yes. But I agree that the plot in the middle was too long and it "lost its way." The ending was mostly satisfying but the background information on the twins and how they parted was given no air time. Side note, OST was pretty good! One last thing, the main leads are so ridiculously attractive. and I loved their spicy scenes🔥🔥🔥.

Very misleading premise

An interesting drama that seems like a crossover of It's Okay To Not Be Okay and Daily Dose of Sunshine.
Like other people have mentioned, it came across as a romantic comedy and the first episode delivered on that.
However it soon turned into something unexpected. While it was still enjoyable and watchable. the plot became a bit convoluted and strange and I ended up dropping it.

At first, I thought Dorami was a supposed to be a fun representation of her inner self to provide some insight on her thought process (much like the animation in Yumi's Cells Kdrama) but it became this complex alternate personality that had MuHui had the ability to switch to when it served her. So, that's not how delusions/hallucinations operate. And when Dorami started providing insight on herself to the Ju Ho Jin it was ridiculous, as well as everyone observing her acting strange but not checking in on her and just allowing it to be, even when she referred to her "original self" as her/she.

Hiro was a fun character that wasn't always executed right. At first we see that he is obsessed with her as the entire world is (apparently and very exaggeratedly) but then because he wasn't recognized by her at an awards ceremony he hates that she was cast in the show with him - or maybe not, this part was a little unclear to me. They alluded to it with his assistant but also mentioned that it could be due to the fact it was a surprise as her name hadn't been on the list of actress candidates but since he liked her originally why was it such a big deal? Later. his character goes back on forth on wanting "confirmation" of something and it seems like he gets it (she doesn't like him) but his crush on her continues to shine through in the last part of filming. And why did Dorami kiss him and tease him and tell him "I choose you"??? Was there a point to that? And when did Hiro start liking her so much?

Ju Ho Jin - I thought his parents relationship and 10+ year crush referred to as a "delusion" by MuHui deserved more attention. He lacked depth which made his actions seem a little bit unnatural. He was commonly referred to as "nice" to describe it but it doesn't cover why he would visit Muhui in the hospital more than once for someone he had no interest of. It also seems like as much as his paren't relationships impacted him and how he views romantic relationships for himself this was barely given any attention to. They made it sound that he needed his brother to marry JiSeon as a way to truly get past his crush but that seems unreal too. Most people wouldn't want to date someone their siblings dated. I like this actor and he managed multiple languages very well and seemingly natural but his minuscule smirk, haha, a tradition he carried in every drama he's in.

There were more things wrong with it that I can't remember now but overall if you can get past that, it's good for a one time watch. People have commented that the soundtrack was good. None of the music really stood out for me. Despite the things I have previously mentioned, I think all the actors acted well.

Started strong and fell off midway

Acting was excellent. I saw that this was based on a novel which leads me to believe they shoved too much of the plot into 8 long episodes instead of the usual 16. This leads the show to have a strange pace that increased the further into the show I went. By the end, I started skipping forward in a rush to combat losing interest but wanting to know how it ends. The story is interesting but was not delivered in a way that compelled the viewer to care about certain things - like the murder that takes place. By the end of the show, I felt puzzled and wondered how the main divorced couple even ended up together as they seem like such an unlikely couple. There is definitely a hint of mystery and desire to root for the new wife and husband yet i'm not sure if it's because I liked their characters or because I want to save them from the shitty characters (ex wife, stalker, ex husband of FL) in the show.

One of the best GL dramas but...

Like my title says, it's probably one of the best GL's that i've seen but that being said there are some obvious issues with it. It starts off better than it ends with the two leads meeting during school and having a cute competition that leads to one lead pining for the other and the other wanting to win against the other lead. That being said, they don't actually interact with each other until later as adults. Towards the middle of the season I found myself skipping ahead over the boring stuff until in the last episodes I cut out so much that it was essentially a trailer instead of an episode. That being said, the soundtrack was good and i'm going to download some of the songs so I can listen to them again and it made me curious about the other drama, affair, featuring both leads as I think they acted very well with what script they were given.

DNF - I like SWL but....

At this point I don't even know why I am still watching this show as I keep FF-ing to all the interesting parts (interactions between main lead and main lead and her cousin) and even then, they are not THAT interesting.

I remember liking SWL so I wanted to watch this but I agree with others in thinking that the main lead/couple aren't giving any chemistry. When the camera is focused on one of them they do a good job with flirty banter but when they are both in the screen its meh.

The first 5 episodes with the FL and her shitty college friend group almost caused me to drop the show but I was waiting for SWL to make an appearance.

When he finally does show up and seems interested but resentful of her finding out the reason why was the reason for me to continue watching the show. I'm on episode 21 and I might have missed it or maybe it's coming up soon but I already found out the answer while looking at other reviews spoilers. He was upset because they were supposed to have gone on a blind date at some point and she didn't remember? Why was he so obsessed with someone he never got to meet?

Another thing that threw me off was that the FL looks like she is 16 years old in this show and while I know the 2 actors are only 2-3 years apart, the way she is dressed ages her down and it almost made their relationship and his pursuing her inappropriate. And i'm not saying that SWL looks old but I think he pulled off looking like he 28-30 years old in the show.

As others have mentioned, his background as being a medical prodigy to successful businessmen was so unbelievable.

Anyways, i'm dropping this. Oh! One good thing, the soundtrack was pretty good!

Started good but dropped off midway

Sadly, LJH couldn't save this show and all I have to remember it is the soundtrack which stood out.
Every episode felt similar with out ML taking on too much for him to handle because he felt bad for someone else while suffering different but similar setbacks. While we know this business meant everything to his dad its tough to believe that someone who was so disinterested in his dad's career while alive would struggle to keep it afloat after instead of finding some other job.
