Eu adorei a história, as escolhas da direção, a fotografia e as atuações, mas me irrita profundamente a generosidade e bondade da protagonista, que faz com que ela seja uma burrinha. Nem tudo é sobre redenção... Ás vezes pessoas terríveis, por mais que tenham razões válidas, ainda são pessoas terríveis. Uma mãe que abandona o filho para enriquecer nunca vai ter redenção para mim, assim como uma mãe que sufoca a filha com expectativas irreais e separa ela de pessoas que ama... Fadt Lane To A Hard Braje
This actually wasn’t a bad watch, I actually enjoyed the story and I have to give credit to the ML and then the 2ML as they made the series palatable.The FL wasn’t bad in her role, she just had a very stiff frame all the time. Even when in the1st intimate scene - which really wasn’t intimate and lacked even a hint of affection from her to the ML.
Then there was the ML and 2ML’s mother, who needed a reality check and a very snug fitting straight jacket with extra long sleeves and industrial grade fasteners. Rhe actress played the evil, calculating personality quite well. Her face transformed into another person when she let loose (like Bilbo Bagginsvwhen he saw the one ring around Frodos neck), and then instantly back to her false persona of a caring parent.
There could have been a few more episodes to fill in and make it feel less like a hard brake on the freeway during rush hour, as the transition between episodes made you feel like you missed something and realizing it never happened.
Asude from those things, I actually enjoyed the story and seeing the ML’s personality develop. He handled that quite well for an 8 ep drama.
Tge 2nd ML his true identity well, and his emotions in check for most of his part in the story, and then unleashed them with great finesse.
I’m not sure this would be a drama I would run to if I was looking for a quick watch, BUT, I will watch it again at some point. Sonetimes doin that can help you pick up on things we might have missed and change my thoughts on it.
Overall, watch it. It’s not a cringey drama and has a ML and 2ML who worth worth keeping an eye on.

Surprisingly Solid
When it comes to J-Dramas, I don't expect much, however, this drama was one of the better ones due to its pace. Everything moved very quickly with no long drawn out angst or misunderstandings. That being said, you get a good dose of the ole tyrannical parent drama device. ML's mother is a piece of work. What a controlling harpy! Thankfully, ML's stepfather put the old hag in her place and supported ML's choice of marriage partner even though he was not ML's biological father and he was basically the CEO of the company. Bravo, stepdad! For some reason, mom thought she had to make an advantageous marriage for ML without even consulting whether her husband felt the same way. FL's mom wasn't the greastest either, but ML's mom is the villianess of the piece. Just a personal preference: I really don't like the actress that plays FL. She always looks pained and gloomy, and geesh, do something with her hair, ok? Part it at the side or cut it so it has more body instead of laying on her forehead like a drowned rat.Was this review helpful to you?

-The girls are THONK.
-Camera knows. You know. Everyone knows.
🔥 THE “WHY AM I LOW-KEY INVESTED?” ZONE:
-It’s messy, rushed, predictable…
-but also dangerously watchable if you turn your brain off or you're a 13 years old who just learned about romance.
-Like fast food: bad for you, but you still bite.

The Revenge Lover – A TikTok-Speed Drama Without Emotion
The Revenge Lover runs barely twenty minutes per episode, yet it rushes through everything. By episode two, there are hugs, firings, and a boss already in love. Everything happens so fast it leaves no room to feel anything. It’s the perfect summary of many recent J-dramas: trying to squeeze three stories into ninety minutes and ending up with an express revenge, an instant romance, and cardboard characters. VINGANÇA SEM SENTIDO E UM ROTEIRO FRACO, BOBO E SEM BRILHO
PONTOS POSITIVOS (o que eu gostei):- Satori Shun no começo parecia ser um homem decidido e de personalidade forte (o que logo descobrimos que não é verdade e já me desinteressou)
- Romance de escritório entre chefe e funcionária sempre é gostoso e interessante (mas não foi aqui)
PONTOS NEGATIVOS (o que eu não gostei):
- Atuações muito medianas
- Química extremamente baixa entre os protagonistas (culpa do roteiro que não ajudou)
- As cenas se atropelam, o desenvolvimento não é linear
- Que tipo de vingança é essa? não fazia o menor sentido. Em nenhum momento o Satori Shun transpareceu ter ressentimentos pela Hattori Maika, era tudo da boca para fora
- Os pais deles são péssimos e eles continuam sendo porque ninguém faz nada a respeito, se você aceita tudo nada muda
- O relacionamento deles não teve uma construção coerente e ela ter aceitado ir para a filial foi a gota d'água para tudo desandar de vez. Eu sou a maior hater de relacionamentos a distância.
- Esse plot de irmãos que foi inserido no final pareceu muito forçado e não gostei do desenrolar cheio de perdões fáceis para os personagens. É bobo e irreal.
Enfim, eu não gostei nada disso e não assistiria novamente.

Critique du drama japonais Lover’s Revenge (Fukushuu Kareshi)🌸 Une petite série au charme classique
Lover’s Revenge n’a pas la prétention de révolutionner le genre du drame romantique japonais, mais il exploite ses codes avec sincérité et efficacité. En seulement huit épisodes d’une vingtaine de minutes, la série aborde des thèmes familiers — la vengeance, la pression familiale, la quête de soi et la rédemption — tout en gardant une tonalité douce et humaine.
Le rythme est soutenu, parfois trop. Certains moments émotionnels auraient mérité un peu plus d’air pour se déployer pleinement. Les transitions entre les grandes étapes de l’intrigue sont rapides, et le spectateur est souvent amené à combler les blancs par lui-même. Malgré cela, la narration reste claire et fluide, sans longueurs inutiles.
💔 Une fin précipitée mais sincère
La conclusion du drama donne le sentiment d’avoir été légèrement compressée : tout se résout un peu trop vite, notamment du côté des antagonistes, pardonnés sans véritable évolution morale. Cependant, le message de réconciliation et de libération personnelle reste touchant et cohérent avec l’esprit global de la série.
💞 Une romance douce et crédible
La romance entre Maika et Shun est subtile, sans excès de passion, mais elle gagne en authenticité au fil des épisodes. Leur relation évolue naturellement, sans reposer sur des malentendus interminables — un vrai point fort pour un J-drama court. On y trouve une belle alchimie entre retenue et sincérité.
Le thème de la pression familiale est particulièrement bien traité : les attentes démesurées des parents, la peur de décevoir, la difficulté de s’affirmer dans une société codifiée. Ce regard sur la « dictature du devoir » donne une profondeur bienvenue au récit, tout en restant accessible.
🎭 Interprétation et mise en scène
Le jeu d’acteur est globalement solide. Suzuki Jin incarne un président à la fois froid et vulnérable, tandis que Konno Ayaka offre une Maika douce mais déterminée — une héroïne bienveillante qui sait dire non. Cette combinaison fonctionne bien, même si certaines scènes paraissent un peu forcées, probablement à cause du format court.
La réalisation est simple mais propre, fidèle aux standards des mini-séries japonaises modernes : efficace, lumineuse, sans fioritures.

Lover’s Revenge est une petite romance japonaise rafraîchissante, qui se regarde sans prise de tête. Elle n’a pas la profondeur émotionnelle d’un grand drame, mais elle compense par sa sincérité, son rythme fluide et son traitement juste des relations humaines.
C’est une série idéale pour ceux qui aiment les histoires d’amour courtes, un peu mélancoliques mais pleines de douceur et d’espoir.

Drama frettoloso che ripropone superficialmente spunti presi in prestito da altre serie
Vedere questo drama è stato come prendere un Freccia Rossa per una tratta e una destinazione già noti. Il "già visto" ingrana la marcia e si concentra notevolmente, inserendo a raffica spunti di varia derivazione che si susseguono negli otto, brevi episodi quasi senza continuità e senza mai approfondirli decentemente.E così abbiamo un accenno alle recentissime "Marry my husband" (il collega-fidanzato che tradisce la protagonista con un'altra collega) e a "Ikinari Kon" (la protagonista con il cuore infranto trova immediato supporto nell'aitante capo con il quale finge una relazione che fa invidia ai due colleghi traditori). La storia passata del protagonista ricorda a tratti "My dearest nemesis" (la nostra donzella inizialmente non lo riconosce ma lui da adolescente le si era già dichiarato e prontamente era stato rifiutato, ora torna nelle vesti di fascinoso capo ma si lamenta di essere ancora invisibile ai suoi occhi). Altro passaggio che sa tanto di preso in prestito, stavolta dal coreano "King the Land", è l'improvviso e imprevisto viaggio d'affari che porta il protagonista lontano così che, approfittando della sua momentanea assenza, la protagonista venga spedita in una filiale lontana dalla famiglia di lui, contraria alla loro relazione. Questo drama rappresenta insomma una sorta di collage che richiamano chiaramente altre serie, ma con il difetto aggiuntivo di essere state riproposte male e in modo frettoloso: ogni questione citata viene dopo poco risolta per passare poi allo "spunto" successivo.
Rispetto al cast, il livello della recitazione è accettabile se consideriamo che sono tutti giovani attori alle prese con i loro primi ruoli importanti.
Una serie, questa, che non sarebbe stato un problema non avere.

Vingança?
Bom, tinha um potencial legal o drama, mas infelizmente a vingança do ex canalha e sua amante foi finalizada muito rápido e não pela FL. Já os demais plots que - teoricamente - era pra ser de vingança, sério kkkkkk, foram simplesmente deixadas de lado com uma facilidade tremenda...Não é ruim, mas também não é bom kkkkk
E as duas mães, a sua maneira, são extremamente ruins, não gostei das personagens.

une compilation de romances classiques avec une morale un peu différente
Lorsque j'ai commencé le visionnage j'ai cru revoir un drama que je connaissais. C'était presque une compilation de clichés , de scénarios déjà vus mais pas développés ! J'ai toutefois apprécié la fin où la famille est mise en avant mais je n'en dirai pas plus pour ne pas spoiler.La musique était sympa.
J'ai eu un peu de mal avec la female lead mais le jeu des acteurs étaient plutôt bon.
Le format en 8 épisodes d'une 20aine de minutes se dévore très vite. Un bon moment passé mais sans plus.

Non quello che mi aspettavo
Ho atteso molto prima di poterlo vedere sub in italiano (sono anche stata via per un periodo in cui non mi è stato possibile seguire alcuna serie) e non nascondo che avevo aspettative molto alte. Tutte miserabilmente sgonfiate in due episodi. La trama si svolge e si risolve proprio in quei due episodi per poi aggiungere qualcosa di non assolutamente necessario alla storia; sarebbe bastato sviluppare la questione della vendetta con soluzione per tutta la durata del drama invece di fare un prodotto simile che nei fatti non racconta nulla di nuovo e lo fa nella maniera più sintetica e piatta possibile. L'attrice di FL poi non è proprio in grado di recitare e lo posso dire con certezza siccome non è la prima volta che la vedo, ma credevo che nelle precedenti opere da una parte fosse il personaggio a richiedere una recitazione simile e dall'altra davo la colpa alla sua inesperienza. Invece capisco che non è così, ma che non sa creare personaggi differenti siccome sembra sempre la stessa figura inutile e stupida come un tombino. ML è forse l'unico che mi è piaciuto un po di più ma l'amarezza cmq è stata tanta per come è andata. I cattivi poi... davvero, no.Was this review helpful to you?
