What a Beautiful drama !
i really like this one, the lead actress look like a mix of Shin se kyung and Young Han hyu jo, love her acting. Was this review helpful to you?
I didn't like it
In reality, what the male lead is doing is toxic, manipulative, suffocating, and infuriating. Doing this to an adult woman—never leaving her alone, following her wherever she goes, and tagging along everywhere—isn't love, it's control. It's illegal and constitutes harassment, especially when she tries to escape and he tracks her through her phone's GPS. On top of that, it feels smothering; they treat her like an object they can just move around and control as they please. I didn't like the male lead's character at all. They disguised toxic behavior as something romantic. I'm not saying the actor didn't perform well, but his character was absolute garbage. Was this review helpful to you?

So binge worthy, i am in awe
Aug 16, 2026I keep seeing how people are complaining about this Kdrama and given the track history of how people overinflate shitty dramas and rate poorly complex nuance storylines, I decided to give this show a go.
And guess what, I had the time of my life. I started watching it early this morning and now I am done. It was such a fun ride, it is such a witty show. It is so hilarious and yes there are major plot twists that shocked me. I think that I was so hooked and I expected so poorly given the reaction of other watchers.
I am so in love with the chemistry of the casts and the plot twist of the story. It is just so good, it took me out of my seat. I am so shocked. Our Sticky Love definitely deserves better ratings than this and I truly stand by this. There are so many other dramas that are just disastrous in comparison to this that people overly rate or hype up.
I think that this drama also gives off the classic Kdrama hence why I am so in love with it. I can't wait to watch it all over again in the near future thats for sure.
I hope you guys give this drama a chance that it deserves, because it is so good, so binge worthy, and so interesting to watch!

A Flawed Romcom That Still Hit All the Right Notes for Me
strong 8.5/10People complain about it, but I honestly enjoyed it. The drama tries to touch on identity, trust, and the idea of family that is not based on blood. These themes are present, but they stay in the background because the main focus is still the romcom. They add a bit of flavor, yet they are not the reason anyone watches this. The real draw is the chemistry, the tropes, and the comfortable chaos.
It also hits several of my personal favorites like shotgun relationship, cohabitation, and amnesia. These tropes usually come with certain predictable funny scenes that repeat across many dramas. Here, they actually created some fresh ones. Not jokes, but situational moments that felt new instead of recycled. It made the whole thing more enjoyable.
The tempo of the drama starts slow. The amnesia arc drags a little, but once it ends, the story suddenly shoots forward and moves much faster. Some viewers complained about the length. I get that. If it had ended around episode 10 and skipped the last two, it would have still worked fine. The amnesia part could have been shorter too, but at least it gave us plenty of cohabitation moments and bonding scenes.
Overall, maybe it does not objectively deserve such a high score, but it hit my personal likes, and that is why it worked so well for me.

I liked Ha Young in Trauma Code, so I had high expectations for her, especially since this was her first lead role in a rom-com. I thought she did well, and I enjoyed seeing her in a completely different kind of role. I wish we got to see more of her as a prosecutor because that part of her character felt a little underused.
I think the leads worked well together, and their interactions felt natural. It wasn't the intense butterflies-in-your-stomach kind of chemistry, but there was a comfortable sweetness to their relationship that made them easy to root for.
I love the supporting village characters, especially the SES ladies! They were such lively, gossiping ajumas, but deep down, you could tell they genuinely cared about everyone. I looked forward to their scenes as they added a lot of character to the village and gave the drama some of its funniest moments. And that fight scene at the beginning of episode 12?! 😂 How funny was that?!
Overall, Our Sticky Love wasn't anything extraordinary, but I still enjoyed watching it. And, of course, Jung Hae In smiling at me through the screen. What more could I ask for? 🥰

Did the job
This drama reflects a mature entertainment industry that needs serial productions to keep the cash flowing, which, in my view, isn't a bad thing, since the drama did its job.The main leads' chemistry was very good, and it was the backbone that helped the drama succeed. As support, they relied on simple physical scenes and exaggerated (almost comic-book) characters to entertain viewers.
As usual, they showed a world with plenty of bad people, extreme Asian puritanism, social-class differentiation, and successful people coming from humble origins. It seems that coming from the orphanage is a must to be successful.
Unfortunately, the opportunity to develop a good story of mature adults was lost in the need to make the show entertaining by relying on easy-to-achieve licenses such as exaggerated fights, extremely bad characters such as the gangster (it seems incredible to find people like him in Korea), and the village sisters who could beat armed gangsters.
They missed the chance to develop a strong second-lead story about overcoming social differences to stay with someone you love, beyond a Cinderella cliché.
Of course, to make all that fit, tons of potholes emerged in the script.
In the end, I had a good time and felt satisfied, since my expectations were very low for a smart script after seeing a good gangster fall in love with a very important prosecutor who disappeared after a near-death torture, as if the authorities were stupid.

Extremely boring??
I definitely expected much more from this series, especially because I like the actors. I’d say my expectations were disappointed, but that would be an understatement: the series is boring and unnecessarily much longer than it needs to be. Pretty much nothing happens that makes you think, “Well, let’s watch the next episode.” The plot twists are extremely minor, and the storyline in general is very, very, very weak.I can’t fully judge the acting because I watched the dubbed version, but I’d say that with a plot like this, it almost automatically takes a backseat anyway.

Zero surprises yet zero complaints
Was the story brilliant & did it blow my mind? No!!!Was it something I’ve never watched before? No!!
Did it keep me on the edge of my seat or make me laugh until I choked? Also No!!
Did I still watched it all the way through? YESSS
The FL is a top notch prosecutor yet when she disappears no one really gives a DAMN. Okay she is an orphan but seriously no one questions her disappearance from her workplace ?? Then She’s seriously out there collecting evidence from gangsters All Alone with NO backup?? Kinda absurd.
ML has been a gangster for 14 years, and somehow his body language is giving anything but a gangster. Also No one in the village finds it suspicious that Jung Tae-ha has had a girlfriend for two years, yet somehow no one’s seen her or even heard of her before ?
As for the rest of the story, it was just…plain. Her memories coming back and ML fighting gangsters for her. All just feels plain and dull.. No ups and downs, no huge highs or frustrating lows. The chemistry between the leads was average, the supporting characters were alright, and pretty much everything was…Average!
But the interesting thing is, the trailer and synopsis basically sold us exactly what the drama delivered. nothing more, nothing less. They pretty much told us everything we needed to know by Episode 2, so there was barely anything left to read between the lines or speculate about. Even if there isn’t anything eventful thing happening yet the romance between leads could’ve added some meaning to the story but there story felt shallow.
And I think that’s exactly why the story lacks that OMG, what happens next? factor. They played it way too safe, and unfortunately, that made the whole thing feel predictable rather than exciting.
Even so strange thing is I didn’t dislike it at all.

Story that should've stayed simple
This had kinda lot of issue in my opinion and not that many good aspects. The premise was okayish, bit fantastical but that's would've been okay if execute correctly, which i think this didn't do.I don't know where it went wrong with the leads but both suffer greatly from different things. FL overacts like crazy the whole drama, i don't know if that directing issue or what, i've seen her do better but this just ain't it. At times it's jarring to see.
ML is either miscasted or directing and costuming just don't know what makes believable gangster. ML didn't at any point seem like anything close to resembling one and it's really breaks my immersion. He is also good actor by all accounts so it just disappointing to see.
Rom-coms usually make or break with the leads and their performance and this just breaks totally.
Side characters are way better and in general enjoyable if not little bit silly side. They helped a lot in making this better than it otherwise would've been. I enjoyed FLs friend that little time she had, maybe she should've had more screentime instead of 2ML and 2FL, i really don't know what was up with those two character and neither did writers cause they basically forgot them in the second half.
Story had interesting premise with potential but it kinda fell flat for me. I enjoyed the start, decent rom-com action it had going on and maybe i would've enjoyed this more without the villain angle fully. The tonal whiplash the drama at had the 8 was too big and out of left field it didn't really work for me either. After that it didn't really hook me in anymore same as it did at the start. The past connection with almost every character to some other character was bit jarring too. Also what's the point even showing hospital scenes if you're going the have the characters be fine after 1 scene, like cmon. I think ending it at 10 episodes would've been good choice, the 2 extra episodes were kinda pointless imo.
Villain character was okay but i don't think he ever got to the potential he could've had. Good actor, limited writing.
Conclusion
It tried somewhat too much and didn't really nail anything that well. The start was good, but at the end it was kinda meh. Both leads failed majorly and didn't really work. Side characters and villain were the better part of this. For the good start carrying this, i'll give it 7/10, i would recommend it for cute rom-com start but anything other than that i couldn't really recommend.

Cute- worth the Watch
Overall, this is worth the watch- it did have some flow trouble- but hang on till ep 3 or 4. I looked up a lot of the cast because I remember them from other places. I was struck by how the producer had the majority of the "Side-kick" cast aged up looking. They looked a good 10 years younger in fairly recent dramas! And they look 10+ older in this drama- it threw me- I almost didn't recognize some of them. It really was an odd thing to do; maybe the producer wanted those actors but needed ajummas to look more ajumma-y or halmoni-y....?The leads' chemistry was low, no fault of their own- no one felt like they were the love of the lives for most of the drama- but the affection grew, and then you felt like you could imagine that Love Grew after "the cameras shut off" (so to speak). I dunno, maybe it was trying to blend genres too much...hard to put a finger on. Still watch it- I know it sounds contradictory- but this cast is great actors.

Decent watch, where you can shut your brain off and just watch.
I could see this being some peoples comfortable but it was just not for me. It's the type of series where you can sort of shut your brain off and just keep watching, It has a few good elements to it but it gets kind of boring after awhile. The lesson from the story is decent I guess but other than that I wouldn't really recommend this as high as I would other drama series. Decent, but not exactly the best. Was this review helpful to you?

bosenin dan tertebak
menurutku cuma seru di episode 1, pas awal-awal cewenya lupa ingatan. terus makin naik episode kayak ga jelas konflik utama yang mau dibawain tuh apa, ga fokus satu masalah tapi kayak langsung serentak sama konflik-konflik kecil lain yang malah bikin ini drama makin awur-awuran😹 konflik balikin ingatan eunsae, terus pas emaknya taeha meningsoy, nenek taeha tetiba sakit parah, mafia-mafiaan, taeha berhenti boxing, flashback masalah pas baek saenggil muda, ada yang ketabrak dll hampir bersamaan, kayak ga coba fokusin disatu masalah utama.sama yang jadi turn off lain tuh aku merasa pemeran utama gapunya kemistri yang bagus, terus kek maksa dibagian yang female lead, dan male leadnya kek mehhh. ibarat kek lu excited sendirian terus cowo lu iya iyain aja😹😹 idk mungkin ntuh sifatnya si go eunsae yang bubbly dan ceria cuma si taeha butut banget karakternya.
endingnya sangat tertebak, mulai dari endingnya villain, ending pemeran utama, aduh semua mid & biasa aja. emang susah bikin romance comedy yang bagus ya?🧐
