Chemistry so good I feel like in HS again. But that's the main asset, because the story feel too long for nothing...
At least OrmFolk and MeenSol look great on screen, so I was still happy to watch it.
But I hope we won't normalize using AI in Drama even if it's only for the opening.

Apple is the Thai GL equivalent of the anime One Punch Man
Any anime fan probably knows what I'm talking about with the headline and can stop reading because it's self explanatory.For those who don't: One Punch Man Season 1 is one of the funniest anime ever made, with good animation and interesting, different storylines, while One Punch Man season 2 looks like lazy unmotivated hobby animators had 2 weeks to create a double digit number of episodes that focuse on this one storyline nobody really cares about and gets really boring and repetitive.
To put it in Apple's terms, season 1 is adequate/pretty good acting, a cute storyline, tv production like quality in sound and video, while in season 2 the acting somehow seems like they're just starting acting school, the story is all over the place and repeats itself over and over again (lack of communication, they fight, they don't talk to each other, they make up, rinse and repeat) and the audio and even sometimes videoquality is like it's filmed with a smartphone from 2016. A new high spec phone and 50 Dollar streamer mics would have done a much better job.
I understand it's a "web special", but that doesn't explain in the slightest why the quality of everything dropped as much as it did. Also, did they really need to put out 33 5 - 7 minute episodes? For me there was absolutely no way I could get into it because every episode was its own thing, with it's own intro of 1 minute, outro of 2 minutes and often a summary/review/replay of the ending of the last episode that lasted 1 to 2 minutes, just like it would've been with a 60 minute episode, only without the chance to "immerse" yourself into the story or the characters because there just wasn't any time for that before you had to skip the outro, intro and summary of the episode from yesterday again.
All in all pretty much a disaster if I'm really honest, especially when compared to season 1. A 5/10 is very generous and only because I liked the first season and I like Orm and Folk and they have pretty good chemistry together.

Cute but not much to it?
Story: The story doesn't have too much to it, it lacks quite a lot. There are some misunderstandings here and there but then they make up and all is resolved.Casting: It's just a season full of their fluffiness and chemistry, which I REALLY like. Ormfolk are a really fun couple to watch both on screen and during vlogs. Their acting is solid, they have good chem and it's really what carried your apple.
Overall: If you're free and want to kill time, go for it! it's a show to watch just for the fun of it and feel that fluffiness inside you.

A different story, but needs collapsed to fewer, longer episodes
This tells a story we almost never see, what happens after they fall in love? How do they navigate living together and the unavoidable misunderstandings and mistakes? The only GLs I can think of that do this are the second seasons of Chaser Game W and Ayaka is in love with Hiroko.The obstacle to watching it is 10 minute episodes, each with about 5 minutes of new story. In at least two places, that even means cutting a single scene into two pieces in two episodes. It would be so much more watchable if those 33 episodes were recut into six 30 minute episodes.
Despite the episode lengths, the pacing works, the plot has the right amount of tension, the "not talking" is realistic, the love scenes are hot, and the chemistry is great.
Despite the weird decision to make 10 minute episodes, this is worth the fuss to watch it. Just get really good with fast forwarding over the intro and recap and then over the end credits.

Une alchimie renversante !
Comme déjà évoqué dans ma review concernant le préquel, l'alchimie entre le duo Ormsin/Folk est incroyable. A ce duo s'ajoute un nouveau qui n'est pas pour déplaire les fans de GLs puisqu'encore une fois, on se retrouve avec un couple capable de faire ressentir la tension dans chacune de leurs scènes d'amour. Pour ce qui est du drama en général, le format est un peu perturbant. Se retrouver avec des épisodes de 11 minutes casse le rythme par moment.Le scénario est, selon moi, moins travaillé que celui du préquel et laisse un goût doux-amer en bouche à la fin de la série.
Côté bande son, c'est mieux ajusté, malgré les problèmes de rythme liés aux formats des épisodes.
En bref, un drama qui se regarde facilement et est adapté à des temps de trajets courts de part son format de 33 épisodes de 11 minutes. L'alchimie entre les couples est saisissante et la série en elle-même reste plutôt raffraichissante.
