An Unexpected Gem And I’m Obsessed

I really loved this drama, like, I'm still reeling from how good it was! Yes, it's hot, the chemistry is on fire, but beyond that, the storyline had me glued to my seat the entire time. It’s not just your typical romance or action series. It’s got depth, emotion, and a plot that pulls you in from the very beginning.

We’ve got a strong, fierce female lead who doesn’t back down and knows exactly what she wants, and a protective, emotionally complex male lead who isn’t afraid to fight for her. The balance between them is just chef's kiss. You feel their connection and their struggles, and that just makes everything so much more impactful.

And let’s talk about the acting. Zhao Jia and Wang Dao Tie absolutely delivered. Zhao Jia brought so much strength and vulnerability to her role, and Wang Dao Tie? Wow. I’ve seen his previous works, and I have to say—this is some of his best acting to date. He really elevated his performance here. The emotional range, the intensity, the subtle expressions. He gave it all. You can tell he poured his heart into this role.

Honestly, the whole production exceeded my expectations. I’m still thinking about some of those scenes… they hit hard. Highly recommend this one if you're looking for something that’s not only visually stunning but also has heart, depth, and standout performances.

Much better than expected

I remember wanting to watch this but i couldn't find it anywhere so I just added it to my PTW, then found it by chance a few days ago after i totally forgot about it.

I watched it for the two leads and that was a pleasant surprise, the ML was so good and his character was amazing i even liked the evil husband lol the actor was good and somehow attractive.

My favourite scene was the "break up" scene, WDT was so lovely i felt so sorry, when he cried and begged i went "awwwwwwww 🥹🥹🥹" the whole scene, he was too adorable and cute in a miserable way lol and the swtich in his behaviour after that was spectacular.
I love that the character wasn't shy to beg for his love, we usually see MLs with power forcing their love on the FL when they refuse them, specially if they are multi-billionaires type of CEOs as in this drama's case, and he did to some extent but wasn't so extreme and kinda respected her final decision.

So despite all his power and wealth, he wanted her with her consent.
I'm just a sucker for powerful men with no male ego.

The whole show was good, i wish the ML had a proper reason for being that clingy towards the FL but it doesn't really matter, it's love.

The two leads were good together, but the intimate scenes lacks a bit, overall it was more than a decent watch, i would recommend it and I'll probably rewatch it again (if i could find it)
