In her previous life, Jiang Xian Li was framed by her younger sister and married a Phoenix Man by mistake. Reborn in the 1990s, her younger sister chose the Phoenix Man before her, so she could only pretend to be wronged and married the wealthy man, Xie Jing Cheng, the fourth son of the Xie family. From then on, she drove a car, lived in a western-style building, had meat every meal, new clothes every day, had the support of her parents-in-law, and a loving husband. She lived a life she had never imagined. Love yourself, and people will naturally love you.
Chen Yu An and Quan Rui |concept : two sister exchange their husbands after rebirth | my take : The couple shares a great rapport, and the male lead (ML) is not blinded by the supposed "saving grace" of the second female lead (2FL); he takes action against her when necessary. The mother-in-law is portrayed as a good and supportive character. Both the ML and female lead (FL) have personalities that reflect kindness towards the good and firmness towards the bad, with a strong sense of guiding those who are lost back to the right path. There’s no toxicity in the story, making it a drama truly worth watching.| https://youtu.be/lx1YIGr-oe0 |Light, Fluffy, and Full of Hard-Earned Love
This was a light fluffy drama that left you smiling all the way through the end. It was less about her revenge and reinvention of herself and more about this couple's life/love story. The ending scene of the leads with their grandchildren was a good choice as it really brought them full circle and gave you a "full life" view of them. It also gave proof that he did not follow in his father's footsteps in how he treated his wife. Nor any of the other male characters from their extended family who all had trouble keeping it in their pants. Speaking of keeping things in their pants; was that boy actually his brother or was the mistress just cashing in on the dad? Also, what happened to the twin sister? And her older sister – did she marry the non-gangster gangster? If so, what happened when she found out that they set her up to break her up with her ex-husband? And their younger (and adorable) brother? I'm kinda invested in their stories now. I would totally watch another two seasons of this show. I've been trying to find out if it is an adaptation but I've yet to find a confirmed source. I think the funniest part of this series was when the FL'S mom showed up and had to teach the gangsters how to collect a debt. Ugh. Now I want to watch it again. BRB. Repeating this watch.
