The Virtuous Queen of Han Episode 47

Duan Hong is persuaded to escape, in order to investigate the truth. Liu Che is furious when he hears of the escape. Princess Pingyang counsels Liu Che not to kill his virtuous wife and loyal official. Zifu show a memento of their love to Liu Che, hoping to prove her love for him, but Liu Che refutes her. Zifu destroys the memento, causing Liu Che to draw his sword in anger. Not wanting Liu Che to suffer the notoriety of murdering his own wife, she rushes up to the sword to commit suicide. Princess Pingyang and Duan Hong rush back to the palace, respectively to counsel Liu Che and bring proof of the truth. But they hear the mourning bells ring. In the imperial court, Yuan Shu confesses to his crimes. His goal was for Liu Che to kill his beloved personally, to suffer the same pain he had of witnessing Chu Fu's tragic death. Zifu’s actions showed Liu Che her sincerity, and he gradually realizes the truth. (Source: Viu)
