The female protagonist, Ye Ling, is a goddess of good fortune who brings luck to everyone. She is skilled in fortune-telling, physiognomy, and divination. Every year on the first day of the Lunar New Year, she visits the home of the person who burns the first incense stick to bless their family with continuous good fortune and auspiciousness. However, this year, the person who burned the first incense stick was Ye Chen, who intended to pray for his sister's well-being. Unexpectedly, his sister had already passed away. Ye Ling, therefore, descends to the mortal world, transmigrating into Ye Chen's sister's body, to bless Ye Chen's family with good fortune and auspiciousness in the new year. Ji Xing Gao Zhao(2025) is a fantasy transmigration miniseries with Xiao Wen Yu and, possibly, Li Xue Yang in the leading couple’s role. The female lead is the main character of the story and the cases that she resolves with her immortal powers. The cases are interesting but the drama seems to be intended to be far fetched and comical in genre. Although the lead couple is together at the end, there is not even a heart fluttering romance and it is somewhat bothersome that the scenes’ sequence pace and the speech patterns are too fast.
