not a drama that pokes fun at disabilities or uses the idea cheaply

Okay, so, I come from a medical background and usually these dramas where the character has some temporary disability end up feeling cheap to me just because there's no real consideration or representation for said disabilities. The writers usually just use a disability in these as a cover story for a character whose family has infighting or cure the character completely, so they don't have to write about actual disabilities. This one is different. We're actually able to see from start to finish in this character's journey of temporary disability + recovery much more than we normally get. I really like that about this drama. It represents disabling injury well and gives a touch of humanity to the ML's mental suffering as he goes through that life change.

The romance is also very good. I like this because the actors have great chemistry but at the same time, we get to see multiple sides of characters who seem very simple on the surface but are actually greatly complex. The husband only married the wife because of their child, yet when the time comes she really steps up to the plate and takes care of him well. He's able to see who she really is and they basically do get to know each other all over again and fall in love. It's such a well-written drama.
