A Rushed Romance !!
Halfway through the drama and I am NOT FEELING IT YET!No one does enemies-to-lovers better than Shin Hae-sun. She is a certified baddie. I love how she keeps choosing these badass, girl-boss roles, and she's absolutely killing it here too. But I'm still not completely sold on the male lead. He feels a little too soft for an enemies-to-lovers dynamic. That said, maybe I'll change my mind as the story progresses.
I'm currently on episode 6 and if things haven't changed by halfway through the season, I doubt they're going to change much in the second half but I’ll keep watching for my girl Shin Hae Sun.
My biggest issue is the romance. It feels super rushed and underdeveloped. They're clearly aiming for a more mature romance and I get that it’s a no nonsense, get straight into it kinda romance , but even then, it feels way too early for them to be this close. By episode 4, they've already lost a lot of the enemies-to-lovers tension, which is usually the most enjoyable part of the trope. Maybe the pacing is because it's only a 12 episode drama, but it still doesn't feel earned.
My other concern is the procedural aspect of the drama. Every episode introduces a new case, but none of them have been particularly intriguing to me. I was hoping the show would spend more time developing the main characters and their relationship, but instead, so much screen time is devoted to the weekly cases that I still feel like I barely know the leads. Maybe that'll change later, but by episode 5 I feel like I should already have some emotional connection to the characters or the story and right now, I just don't.
Also, I'm wondering what happened to the male lead's goal of getting promoted or transferred? It feels like that motivation has completely faded into the background.

the deepest connections are found when we finally stop auditing our hearts ?
i never knew office kdramas could this be interesting.. i found myself both laughing at the many antics of Audit Team 3 and sobbing at the show’s emotional turning points.i liked the format of each episode having an over arching central theme with different characters (that would no longer appear in future eps). i already encountered this format with other kdramas i watched like Hotel Del Luna, Tomorrow and Move to Heaven.
the main leads were really good, they are the embodiment of a golden retriever and black cat couple. i somehow even saw myself as joo in-ah sometimes as i related to her character which had a lot of depth and backstory.

A breath of fresh air amidst boring dramas
It's not the drama of the year, but it's hooked me as if it were. The protagonists go from hating each other to loving each other, office romance, plots of corruption and abuse of power... all this added to very funny moments. It's true that at first I wasn't a big fan of the main couple, I didn't feel they had much chemistry, but in the end I've come to see their point. If you don't want to watch the typical office romance, this is definitely your kdrama.(If I had to criticize anything, it would be the secondary couple. Girl, you don't have to be a pushover to be liked.)

"A Hilarious Start That Wins My Heart"
"The Boss is Tough, But I Can't Get Enough" — Honestly, that is the best way rhymely to describe the energy of this show so far!I’m genuinely surprised by the low rating—I've only seen two episodes and I'm already cracking up! While everyone has their own taste, this drama hits exactly the right spot for me
I just reviewed this drama from other channel where Im a regular reviewer, just rarely visit and review here in Dramalist and for some reason Im in the mood copy pasting my review from " over there" to " here" 😄.
I wasn't sure what to expect from an audit/office setting, but the dynamic between the leads is pure gold. Gong Myung playing the "fallen corporate prince" as Noh Ki-jun is the perfect foil for Shin Hae-sun’s as Joo In-ah's chaotic energy. She is a total scene-stealer! Her "quirky but lethal" vibe makes the office feel like a high-stakes battlefield, and she brings a brand of comedy that feels so fresh for 2026.
The Audit Team 3 -- "Cheating Specialists" 🤣
The PM team (Public Morals), aka the "Cheating Specialists," is ironically funny. The drama low-key roasts intense Asian corporate culture of nightly overtime. It’s a reality where people are stuck at the office so late that they barely see their wife , families, leading them to bond more with their coworkers than their spouses! While office infidelity happens everywhere East and West , this drama specifically highlights that "night-owl" office grind that makes these forbidden affairs almost inevitable. It’s a witty, light-touch take on a very real social pressure. But because it's a rom- com They handle this "forbidden affair" plot with such a witty, light touch.
Also, it’s so smart how the show uses "audit" as a double meaning. They aren't just auditing the company’s money, they are also AUDITING THE CHARACTER'S MESSY LIVES and failed relationships. It’s social commentary disguised as a rom-com, and I am here for the depth!
Shin Hae-sun is the absolute queen of "eccentric but efficient, in this show " and her role as Joo In-ah might be her best balance of comedy and intensity yet in this drama .She’s essentially playing a "madwoman" with a corporate badge, and it is glorious to watch.
Her "weirdness" feels natural—the way she handpicked Gong Myung for the "Public Morals" unit because she saw him in a stairwell with an engaged woman (talk about a misunderstanding!) shows she’s always three steps ahead.SHS has this unique ability to transition from a playful, prank-loving boss to an icy, bone-chilling executive in less than a second.
Gong Myung plays Noh Ki-jun with this perfect mix of "corporate prince" arrogance and genuine shock. When he gets demoted to Team 3, he doesn't just act sad, he acts offended. You can see the internal struggle in his expressions—trying to keep his dignity while being forced to investigate "menial" office gossip. It makes his character feel human rather than just a caricature of a hotshot.
What I loved GM's portrayal here , he isn't afraid to look a little ridiculous. Whether he's doing a hilariously dramatic "forced" song or reacting to In-ah’s "madwoman" energy, his facial expressions are gold. He knows how to use his "puppy-dog" features to make his frustration look adorable and funny at the same time.
He looks every bit the part of a 2026 elite corporate worker. His "corporate armor" (those sharp suits) makes his eventual "fall from grace" to the messy Team 3 office look even more dramatic. Plus, his expressive eyes really help sell that "cliffhanger" tension at the end of ep 2 —you can see him starting to realize that In-ah isn't just a tough boss, but someone with a secret he might be the only one smart enough to uncover.
What I also love most about this show is how both main leads really carry it as the anchors. In so many dramas, the energy is carried by just one person, but here? Both are absolute scene-stealers.
This isn't just a "watch while doing chores" drama. The wit is lightning-fast—if you miss a line, you miss a laugh! If you like intellectual equals who can’t stand each other but have undeniable chemistry, don't sleep on this one. Definitely my favorite weekend watch!
For the premiere week, it’s a perfect score for sheer enjoyment! Let’s see if this hilarious energy and brilliant drama-comedy balance can actually hold up until the finale. Consider my rating "unsteady". But 10/10 for now!
This is only my second review since coming back to Dramalist this month—The Perfect Crown was my first—and just like that one, I feel like I've found a total gem.

Well, I guess it was entertaining... for a bit
So, whats to say about it? The FL carried the show. Oh, and the scenes with the topless ML. And maybe the 2nd FL a little. And the cameos helped too. But surely there's more.Visuals. It looks good enough. Normal colour palette. The cinematography is good I guess. Some interesting shots and angles. Lots of good shots when its about emotions going on. I don't know if it was added in post or not, and though it was not a close-up, I even noticed a person sweating, its not something easily notable, but because of the angle and the lighting etc. Yes, I pick on the stupidest of details (like I saw about the portraits in the art class)... So, most of the times: good stuff.
**Personal point. I hate the scenes where the Sun is involved. Episode 6 (?). sunset, they are walking, she sees something, she runs, he "hey, where are you going?", runs after her, next second full dark. Thats like 3 hours in the span of 2 seconds. From the cinematography standpoint, it looks better this way, sure, but that means the writing is at fault. Same for the sunrise scene in episode 8(?). Thats not how the sunrise works! Two hours timeline crammed in 2 minutes of screen time. I'm saying 2 minutes to be nice. More exactly, she is walking, the sky looks like at least 1h (I'm being generous) before sunrise, she stops, she turns around, the sky looks like 30 min before sunrise, in the next second we get a wide-shot and the Sun is already up, it looks like 30 min after sunrise... I know why it was needed and done like that, but it was bad. Another one is about a couple of portraits in the art class having the wrong orientation (one even smiling). And a few other scenes (like an elevator, or football game) where some characters move faster than possible, on or off screen, to catch up to someone. Nitpicks, not problems, I know, but I had to say it. Also also, the thing with her first day of work. I wont spoil it. Knowing what we know later, how the fk did it all happened? Does it involve teleportation? If not, thats a plot hole. And a major one... But I digress.**
Audio. The sound design is ok. Meh OP and ED, nothing special, but on par with the theme, I guess. The rest is better, nice selection for tracks. Also, nice balance mixing, no track will blow your ears off with some loud volume right after a quiet dialogue, or something.
High production value. World building? No, not really. The usual pacing. You wont get a sense of how much time is passing, coupled with a lot of boring (slice-of-life like) scenes. No, really. Horrible pacing and horrible editing, some scenes just keep dragging on.
Now, the good parts. The story is meh. I get that it must have drama, but it kinda goes over the top. Everyone cheating on everyone, all the time, all around and they gotta deal with it. Something usual irl Korea. Ok, fine, sure. Lets pretend its an interesting concept. The execution of that idea on paper is bad. Ok, maybe not bad, just boring. It is all saved by the acting. Good casting. The main FL stole the show. Apart from some scenes, where she is supposed to be sad/desperate/whatever but she can't really do it, everything else is done great. Body language, mannerism, speech, even her face. Any other actress wouldn't have been this geat for this specific role. There are a few other good actors here, sure, but its like having Anthony Hopkins and some random, normal people around. Especially in the first episodes. Her sarcasm, body language, the way she changes her demeanor in one second, all of that will make you love her and want to keep watching the show. That and the other eye candies. Plus, as I've mentioned earlier, the cameos. Talented actors that bring their own fans. But like I said, the script is meh. A couple of plot contrivances here and there. Stuff like that. You'll enjoy it for the actors and for the feeling of "they got what they deserved" payoff in regards of some of the cheaters. Oh, also, expect lots of red herring. Not a bad thing per se, but it gets predictable.
Character development. There are a few of decent ones. Also, a lot of really lousy ones. One-dimension kind of bad. The best of it is the fact that you shouldn't think you know how someone is. There were a few surprises. Both good and bad. And as the story progresses, it changes to worse... A lot of character assassination, one of them culminating in dumb stuff, even saying something cringe like "I realised I wasn't as bad a person as I thought". Like I said, sometimes the writing is horrible, with lots of exposition dump, pathetic dialogue and forced events occurring.
Comedy. Anything decent mostly involves the FL. The other bits are the typical cringy kdrama stuff. Honorable mention, his sisters. Really funny.
Romance. Well, the chemistry is there. Some nice dialogue at key moments, nice acting and it feels like it has a natural progression. Also, even the stuff thats less than romance, involving other cast, is nicely done.
To sum it all up. Uninteresting premise, ok-ish execution, with some plot contrivances and plot holes. All supported mainly by the FL, a few other cast and the cameo ones. Thats it. Apart from episode 8. That was pure nonsense, as writing, pacing, execution. Time has no meaning, stuff happens or it is shown without explaining what that was. Nothing works. Plot holes, manipulative editing, who knows? And it leaks over to the next episode (for example, I checked for two scenes.38 seconds for: ending the call, going back inside or not, paying up or not, convincing the colleagues to leave, getting their coats on, going outside all the way up to the street to find a cab. 38 seconds... Then 33 more until leaving the last 2 people. Exactly what we're to infer how long it takes in a different setting for a person to go from answering the door, inviting some one in, taking his shoes off, walking inside living room. Then, 103 seconds for: leaving the group (already happening), arriving before the building, going up stairs/elevator (because 2508-2509 it usually means 25 floor, right? Also seeing that she is an executive something in a respectable company, something we see in other kdramas, they all try to live somewhere high up. Also also, the view from her window), entering... How tf is that possible? But hey, "drama is needed, lets force it", right? Right). And the next episode, and the next. *sigh* Basically, the second half its not the same drama. The same teleportation plot devices, character assassination, a lot more contrivances and plot holes. But at least its not the kind of drama that has the "fake marriage contract comes to light & creates problems" trope, right? * wink wink* A better writing would've been if the plot was that he had a colder personality and a more "data" approach in his investigations, learning from her how to "understand" people more. And maybe the 2nd FL to have a better role/dialogue, because from the few scenes where she was playful, it looked like she could do it. Anyway....
It gets a rating of 6. Barely. It should be even lower thanks to its progression. Enjoyable for the first half, cringe and full of tropes in the second one. Maybe you'll rewatch it once more, mostly for the FL. Maybe.
I should mention that there's a difference between enjoyment and quality when talking about media. You can also enjoy bad media (my guilty pleasure), and there's nothing wrong with that. This review is about its quality (as all reviews should be), so keep that in mind.

Update:Finally finished this and I still liked it. I really like the leads and their romance although I wish we saw more of that than the office drama.

4 of 4 so far and this show has been saving K-dramas of late for me. I have always liked Shin Hae Sun so I was sure I will enjoy this but she really is such a treat. I love her character in this. Such a badass boss and also so funny! Gong Myung is starting to be a favorite male lead as well. They have such great chemistry. I am loving this so far and hopefully it stays good. There is obviously some office drama and mystery so that also adds to the fun! Will continue watching for sure.

Loveeeeeee this drama
First of all, I will start with the secretary who thinks because she likes her boss, the vice chairman, she is allowed to do whatever she likes. And I blame the vice chairman for letting it slide. she crossed the line a lot times but it was still overlooked. I loved when Joo Ah told her to watch her tone and reminded her she had no right speaking to an executive that way. Good thing she was fired. So entiled for someone who has loan shark and family problems. The way she visited Noh after ghosting him is even more annoying and he was even kind enough to her stay. To think she hated Joo Ah because she borrowed her her designer pair of shoes is just wild.And to the vice chairman's brother Jeon threatening Joo Ah to take his side is just another case of entitlement. He should have asked nicely Joo would have considered . using her subordinates to threaten her was just low. And always bringing up his stepmother's mental health is crazy. Their father was even worse.
Buttttt I love their chemistry😩😩😩😩.
Shin Hye Sun did so well. I love how the comedy and romance those little thrillers were incorporated. Especially that scene where she asked the team members to go back because she order in their dinner only for them to catch those two having an affair at conference room😂she gave us something fresh after the art of Sarah.

underwhelming start
I expected to really like the show but after the first two episodes im feeling underwhelmed. The positives of the show are that anytime the main leads are on the screen (Shin Hae Sun and Gong Myung) its great, they have good chemistry, their characters are interesting and engaging. But so far it feels like they have had hardly any screentime together maybe 5 minutes in total. I also like the dynamic between the second FL (Hong Hwa Yeon) and the main lead but thats where the positives end. i have no interest in the the obvious eventual power struggle between the two brothers and even less interest in the episodic cheating investigations. *Filling for Love* feels like one of the strongest surprise rom-coms of 2026 so far because it mixes office comedy, investigation drama , and mature romance better than expected. The concept of an internal audit department uncovering scandals could have become dry very quickly, but the series keeps the energy sharp through fast dialogue , chaotic workplace dynamics, and strong chemistry between the leads
The drama’s biggest strength is clearly its lead pairing . Shin Hye-sun once again proves how good she is at balancing comedy and emotional depth. Her character could easily have become another stereotypical cold perfectionist boss, but she gives her enough vulnerability and unpredictability to feel human. Gong Myung complements her very well with a softer and more emotionally transparent energy. Their chemistry feels lively, flirtatious, and surprisingly natural. A lot of viewers are reacting especially strongly to the tension and banter between them.
Another thing the drama does well is pacing. Unlike many office rom-coms that become repetitive after a few episodes, the drama keeps introducing workplace investigations and scandals that maintain momentum. The procedural aspect gives the story structure while still leaving room for romance and comedy.
The weakness, though, is tonal balance. Sometimes the show switches very quickly from exaggerated humor to serious emotional or workplace issues. Certain scenes feel almost too exaggerated compared to the more mature themes like harassment, corporate pressure, or emotional trauma. The drama occasionally risks becoming messy because it wants to do too many things at once.
Some secondary characters are also still underdeveloped for now. The leads carry most of the emotional weight, which works because they are excellent together, but it leaves parts of the supporting cast less memorable.
Still, the writing feels fresher than many recent office romances. It has a more adult energy, faster romantic progression, and stronger dialogue than the average rom-com currently airing. That’s probably why the drama is already building strong audience reactions and ratings early in its run.

Meu novo dorama favorito
Shin Hye Sun e Gong Myung estão incrivelmente maravilhosos nesse dorama 💗Amor sob Investigação foi uma ótima surpresa do catálogo da Viki. O dorama mistura romance corporativo mistério e aquele clássico enemies to lovers que faz a gente esperar ansiosamente pelos próximos episódios. O grande destaque da série é a química entre Ki Jun e In Ah . Os dois conseguem transformar simples trocas de olhares e o desenvolvimento do relacionamento acontece de forma gradual, sem pressa, o que deixa tudo mais natural.
A série também equilibra bem momentos mais sérios com cenas leves e divertidas, tornando a experiência agradável do começo ao fim. Eu ri muito com esses dois kkkkkk
Preciso falar sobre Ju In A, uma personagem forte, determinada e cheia de personalidade. Ela não abaixa a cabeça para ninguém, enfrenta as situações de frente e demonstra muita coragem ao longo da história. Gostei bastante da forma como ela se posiciona, sem perder sua essência, mostrando que é possível ser firme e, ao mesmo tempo, humana. Já No Gi Jun ganhou meu coração ao longo do dorama. Além de ser gentil e atencioso, ele não desiste facilmente do que acredita e está sempre disposto a proteger quem ama. É um personagem que mistura sensibilidade, humor e determinação na medida certa.
Esse dorama me ganhou logo de cara nos primeiros episódios, história muito boa e amei a Ost … pena ter apenas 12 episódios, vou sentir falta de acompanhar todo fim de semana!!

Finalmente un pochino di originalità
Un drama di genere commedia romantica ambientata in officio e con le sue sfaccettature che sfociano in altri generi, come solito fare dai coreani. L'elemento che stavo apprezzando di più di questo drama è sicuramente l'originalità e il ribaltamento di alcuni stereotipi del genere. Come la protagonista che finalmente non viene oscurata dal protagonista maschile, lei anzi ruba la scena, non è inferiore a lui per niente, è lei il capo che si fa temere e rispettare da tutti, una donna indipendente e forte.Il protagonista maschile non è solo bello e non ha quell'aura da maschio alfa che spesso creano ma ha una intelligenza emotiva ben sviluppata, dolce e buono, è l'opposto della protagonista e infatti una volta insieme creano una bella chimica e soprattutto si completano. La cosa che ho amato è che tra loro c'è una vera parità, senza che nessuno dei due sia migliore dell'altro o oscurato. Altro elemento non scontato e che spesso manca nei drama di questo genere è la maturità dei protagonisti, si comportano da veri trentenni sia da soli ma anche quando diventano una coppia. Tutto ciò l'ho trovato diverso dal solito.
L'ambiente dell'ufficio mi è piaciuto ed era diverso dal solito, molto meno gli intrighi aziendali che ho trovato banali e noiosi.
Mentre secondo me un punto molto dolente del drama sono i personaggi secondari, in particolare il second lead che era a mio parere promettente ma si perde andando avanti soprattutto inserendo questo inciucio amoroso con la protagonista che per me ha rovinato tutto. Uguale per la segretaria, ed è un peccato perché entrambi erano personaggi diversi da solito per poi cadere nel banale e nell'esagerato, direi forzato.
Ecco forzato è la parola che mi viene in mente per descrivere la seconda metà del drama e che mi ha fatto penalizzare così tanto il voto, ovviamente nella seconda parte ci si focalizza sui drammi e intrighi aziendali per arrivare al climax finale e la risoluzione dei casini ma per me era tutto estremamente esagerato, poco credibile anche e banale, l'unica cosa che salvo è la relazione dei due protagonisti.
Ottimo cast e buona regia.
In conclusione è un drama che ho apprezzato ma non totalmente, purtroppo mi ha deluso tantissimo andando avanti ma sono felice di averlo visto nonostante tutto.

Amor, rencor, drama, temor, romance.Lo que al principio pareció un enredo y desastre sin solución, terminó encontrando su adecuado camino. La dinámica de la relación entre los compañeros de trabajo, y luego el desarrollo y adaptación mutua entre los protagonistas, fue bastante lindo de ver. Uno ríe, se preocupa, enoja y se conmueve a partes iguales a lo largo de esta serie.
Finalmente, dos cosas que fueron evidentes para mí a raíz de toda la historia: No hay trabajo que sea insignificante y no hay persona que no merezca ser amada.
