An Easy-going Cute, Fun, and Hot Show FULL of Feelings
LOVE LOVE LOVE.Lots of affectionate looks and touches between the characters, brimming with emotion, and there's lots of playfulness.
It has a good pace, nothing is rushed, and the moments are so perfectly sweet alongside the great music that you can watch them again and again.
Chi Cheng is usually so sweet, caring, and gentle for his Dabao, and I love that he seems to adore and melt even for his Dabao's mischievious and moody sides.
Wu Suowei can't help but soften when his Chi Cheng looks after him, you can see that it really means a lot to him and he couldn't help but fall for him.
I love all of the moments they do something great for each other and we see how much it means to them and how much they love each other.
Beginning to end it's great, and I had the episodes on repeat.

One of the best Series I EVER WATCHED
I have been a BL fan for about 8 years , ands when I say this is one of the best series ever, I MEAN IT. The series hooked me in IMMEDIATELY. The story is so good , it made me laugh so many times. The actors in this series EMBODY the characters so well I feel like it’s really them .The music is so good too the opening song is very catchy I , catch myself singing it sometimes. I will definitely be rewatching this series because it’s so good. This series overall a good watch , it’s funny , serious when it needs to be , and it’s what I have been wanting to watched , it’s like a perfect series in my books.Was this review helpful to you?
Best BL drama
This is my very first time to write a review on a drama. I’ve watched a lot of dramas either straight or BL but for me this is the best that I’ve watched. I really love their chemistry and their natural acting and the story is true to life. Love can really changed someone to a better one. Sacrifice when you love someone. Misunderstanding is part of a relationship but through good communication nothing is impossible. I really,really love Dabao and Chi Cheng they are the coolest couple. It's really worth watching
Everything is perfect from the story to the cast & the actors are perfect at acting so this series is just too good can't wait for season 2 already like please give us season 2 also !!I just love how they portrayed everything this series is already a huge hit shout-out to the actors, author, directors, cameraman, producers & the whole crew members

Not finished yet. But so far this show is really good. All the hype is really worth wacthing!Acting for all actors are really good,! Story is super enjoyable so far.........

Wu Suowei’s First Time & Overall Opinion.
The long awaited episode of Wu Suowei first time love making with Chi Cheng scene started beautifully, but it lacked bedroom scenes and fell way short of all the hype. I do understand that the censorship is strict in China and this is possibly why the scene lacked length and depth of the characters portraying their first time together. As much as I love these characters and this series, I am disappointed in the this scene.I have now completed the series and for me personally, the couples drama was watered down too much. The ending was sweet and quaint, not all that heart moving. I saw photo’s on Pinterest that showed wedding pictures of the couples, yet we got no wedding? Maybe there will be a wedding Spin-off??
I can honestly say that overall, I loved the series and the characters. The acting was really well done and the men are very handsome.
Wang Zhen is so sweet and gorgeous, he definitely should have had some kind of happy ending with a love interest of his own.
I really want to see the two main couples get married. The hints and suggestions were all there, but no wedding 😭

This hot pot is spicy!
Chemistry between both main leads is out of the charts, not to mention Tian Xu Ning looks exactly like his cartoon predecessor. I appreciate they used real snakes on set, it's adding the spice into already hot pot. As the novel itself is very unhinged I cannot blame the film script for some cringey moments. I wish more of the behind the scenes were included in the actual series, because I will happily devour every crumb. Overall I wanna rate 1000/10 stars for the effort the team gave into this and for the trouble both actors are forced to go through.Was this review helpful to you?

Best BL I've Seen So Far
We’ve been waiting for an official Chinese BL for almost 10 years, and this is far better than what we could have asked for. In fact, this is the most silly and refreshing show I’ve seen in a while. The characters have fun dynamics with each other, and the tension is palpable. The author of Revenged Love is the same as the author of Addicted, so you know the actors are gonna be gorgeous and the story full of humour. It's been about 5 months since this show finished releasing, and yet I still think about them and miss them every day. ChiCheng is a complex character who undergoes a lot of character development to become the biggest loverboy. The way he treats love and his lover is something that has changed my outlook on how love and relationships have the potential to look like. Wusuowei is my favourite character of the show, and I love his silly schemes and expressions. His relationship with Jiangxiaoshuai is the purest, most beautiful friendship, and together, they have both brought me so much joy and laughter. Guochengyu has some really beautiful lines, and he is such an ideal, thoughtful partner. The summer of 2025 now has a whole new meaning. This show taught me what love looks like, changed the way my brain is wired, and gave me so much hope. I will forever recommend this show to everyone I know. to be honest idgaf about yaoi or like bl or gay men shows in general (not in a homophobic way but in a i prefer women way) but i find this show really enjoyableits not a hard watch not cringe and the plot is good and funny

Male lead literally assau1ts a guy and let's a guy get gang gRaped.
Hell no...I just finished the first episode and just NO. Chi Cheng the snake guy just let a guy get gRAPED by his henchmen. He also did whatever with another guy after the snake betting scene, and the guy was clearly against it and non-consenting. Watched it on youtube and went down to the comments expecting people to criticize the episode for literally normalizing grape but no...everyone was literally praising the show???? Am I crazy or???? Bad acting and scriptwriting aside, how are people literally watching this and saying this shit is good??? I know grape in shows/movies happen and it's done in a way that conveys just how twisted and sinister an "evil" character can be, but I've NEVER seen people praising a grapist character in a show. That's my problem - the scriptwriters, directors, producers etc. just allowed all this shit go down and still want the audience to empathize and like the character??? And the worse part is that people actually DO like Chi Cheng?? I put myself through the whole episode but I can't physically make myself click on episode 2.Was this review helpful to you?
