Sexual assault 2x in first episode?!
Am I the only one that is utterly disgusted by the two sexual assaults that happen in the first 32 minutes of the first episode? The first is just predatory and then there is straight up gang rape in the second instance. Chi Cheng commits the first, and then orders the second. This is not ok y'all. The main lead is an abuser.Ok, I'm not the only one... I'm glad people on this site, Reddit, and X are also are sounding the alarm on this:

The acting is also so hammy. I don't get why people are praising this show.

LOVE IT
i really enjoy this drama, the chemistry of the actors is level 100000 ๐ซ ๐ซ ๐ซ I liked the story, the comedy and sad, the hot and romantic.๐๐ I hope they will work again๐๐ฅนps. I just have a point: I miss a last kiss in the end of the last episode ๐ฅฒ but love it anw๐ซฐ

An Easy-going Cute, Fun, and Hot Show FULL of Feelings
LOVE LOVE LOVE.Lots of affectionate looks and touches between the characters, brimming with emotion, and there's lots of playfulness.
It has a good pace, nothing is rushed, and the moments are so perfectly sweet alongside the great music that you can watch them again and again.
Chi Cheng is usually so sweet, caring, and gentle for his Dabao, and I love that he seems to adore and melt even for his Dabao's mischievious and moody sides.
Wu Suowei can't help but soften when his Chi Cheng looks after him, you can see that it really means a lot to him and he couldn't help but fall for him.
I love all of the moments they do something great for each other and we see how much it means to them and how much they love each other.
Beginning to end it's great, and I had the episodes on repeat.

One of the best Series I EVER WATCHED
I have been a BL fan for about 8 years , ands when I say this is one of the best series ever, I MEAN IT. The series hooked me in IMMEDIATELY. The story is so good , it made me laugh so many times. The actors in this series EMBODY the characters so well I feel like itโs really them .The music is so good too the opening song is very catchy I , catch myself singing it sometimes. I will definitely be rewatching this series because itโs so good. This series overall a good watch , itโs funny , serious when it needs to be , and itโs what I have been wanting to watched , itโs like a perfect series in my books.Was this review helpful to you?
Best BL drama
This is my very first time to write a review on a drama. Iโve watched a lot of dramas either straight or BL but for me this is the best that Iโve watched. I really love their chemistry and their natural acting and the story is true to life. Love can really changed someone to a better one. Sacrifice when you love someone. Misunderstanding is part of a relationship but through good communication nothing is impossible. I really,really love Dabao and Chi Cheng they are the coolest couple. It's really worth watching
Everything is perfect from the story to the cast & the actors are perfect at acting so this series is just too good can't wait for season 2 already like please give us season 2 also !!I just love how they portrayed everything this series is already a huge hit shout-out to the actors, author, directors, cameraman, producers & the whole crew members

Not finished yet. But so far this show is really good. All the hype is really worth wacthing!Acting for all actors are really good,! Story is super enjoyable so far.........

Wu Suoweiโs First Time & Overall Opinion.
The long awaited episode of Wu Suowei first time love making with Chi Cheng scene started beautifully, but it lacked bedroom scenes and fell way short of all the hype. I do understand that the censorship is strict in China and this is possibly why the scene lacked length and depth of the characters portraying their first time together. As much as I love these characters and this series, I am disappointed in the this scene.I have now completed the series and for me personally, the couples drama was watered down too much. The ending was sweet and quaint, not all that heart moving. I saw photoโs on Pinterest that showed wedding pictures of the couples, yet we got no wedding? Maybe there will be a wedding Spin-off??
I can honestly say that overall, I loved the series and the characters. The acting was really well done and the men are very handsome.
Wang Zhen is so sweet and gorgeous, he definitely should have had some kind of happy ending with a love interest of his own.
I really want to see the two main couples get married. The hints and suggestions were all there, but no wedding ๐ญ
Please give us a wedding spin-off!๐ค๐ซฐ๐ซถ๐ป๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ

This hot pot is spicy!
Chemistry between both main leads is out of the charts, not to mention Tian Xu Ning looks exactly like his cartoon predecessor. I appreciate they used real snakes on set, it's adding the spice into already hot pot. As the novel itself is very unhinged I cannot blame the film script for some cringey moments. I wish more of the behind the scenes were included in the actual series, because I will happily devour every crumb. Overall I wanna rate 1000/10 stars for the effort the team gave into this and for the trouble both actors are forced to go through.Was this review helpful to you?
