99% series have longer last ep with details and lots of things. This series full package in bl world. There is great story, fucking brilliant acting by dao bao especially that car scene when dao bao was crying and laughing at same time. Finest acting i had ever seen in BL word. He deserves Oscar for that scene. But idk why i feel something is missing in last ep. No kiss scene, chi cheng didn't meet dao bao parents. They could have give us proper NC scene in last episode coz that the moment we wanted when series ended. I didn't even find this series boring at all. Usually i leave series in middle and i watch after long time like i am leaving top form in the middle. Yeah it started it toxicity but in the end it became damn best candy. Another thing i didn't like when dao bao says i want to be top and chi cheng reject it. If he can straight guy bottom then why can't he be bottom for his lover? After all he loves him. Except few points this series is the finest BL series i ever watched. People are criticizing coz there is no consent but who the fuck care about that when both party is wanted that. Iβm gonna miss the feeling of watching this series for the first time, when i so badly wanted the episodes to be released sooner. Now that itβs finished, I donβt have anything to look forward to on Mondays anymore.Wei wei, Chi cheng, Shuai shuai, Chengyu, thank you for giving us a beautiful story to remember. Ziyu, Tian, Xuan cheng, Zhan xuan, thank you for bringing the story to lifeβ€οΈ

Best BL of the Year!!! Seriously!
This is honestly the best BL of the year! I'm loving everything about it so far. The acting is so so so good. The chemistry between both couples is sizzling and the story is also amazing! I never thought I could look forward to new episodes of a BL like this but Revenged Love has me hooked. Everyone should watch this! I promise you won't be disappointed.This is my new obsession. Can't get enough of it.

It's great, the series was nice it's like I'm watching cdrama, I was smiling until the first two episode ends, the cinematography the phasing the ost, acting and the storyline is giving... everything was intact knowing that the screenwriter was the maker of STAY WITH ME it didn't disappoint me, looking forward tomorrow for the next two episode.Review from the π΅π Philippines 10/10

Crazy and chaotic in a fun way.
I am forever Yizhan but guess what? I fell in love with Ziyu and Tian Xuning love team. They are match made in BL heaven. From the story, to it's characters, soundtrack and even their not so extravagant budget yet the performed really well. It is beyond my expectation. The show gave birth to a new fun loving bunny same as Xiao Zhan and that is our baby Zi Yu. He is adorable and no dull moment. If only those characters don't repeat wardrobe specially those rich boys. But heck it's integrated to the real world. It is a must watch and possibly the best BL of the year. Started watching without expectations, but now I love everything about this series
Revenged love is the kind of series that manages to incorporate everything emotion in the right proportion without over doing anything part. I laughed, I cried, I smiled, I hated some characters that deserved the hatred and I fell in love with the main leads, my personal favorite being Wei Wei cause heβs just so witty, smart and so funny. Nothing literally NOTHING can replace this masterpiece in my heart and trust me if you haven't watched it yet... SRSLY?? what are you even doing ???Firstly i want to thank the directors,producers,and the entire team who made revenged love possible, thank you for somehow choosing the most apt actors during casting ,and successfully stealing our hearts ....this series a breakthrough in the bl universe...idk about others but i will never rather CAN never ever forget this ...
Secondly kudos to the actors who are sooo strong-willed and talented that even after receiving continuous backlashes from the netizens regardless of how vague and unworthy the topic was, faced them and handled them with perfection...
I am a die hard bl lover and let me tell you that this obsession of mine goes to such extent that i cant watch any straight dramas anymore....so when i started watching this i honestly did not have any expectation at all...the main reason for that was the series being Chinese and all c-bls always aren't actually bls they are bromances....so quite naturally i gave this one a shot...but oh god wasn't this my best decision ever....this series tooo good...it has never failed to entertain me and its the best one i have ever watched till date....i think its because of the details, the creators never failed to portray in the scenes that made this one so special and dont even get me started about the bts clips they served(thay have a fandom of their own)...omg they were my only source of survival in between eps...
im sorry cause this got too long (whenever i start talking about RL i just cant stop) So if you are still thinking whether you should drop thisβ€οΈβπ©Ήβ€οΈβπ©Ή series or give it a watch, i just want you ppl o know that you are MISSING OUT a lot...its not a series its an emotion...

There has always been a quiet, enduring love from Chi Cheng toward Suo Weiβand the only thing that changes is how deeply it grows with each passing day. Only genuine, heartfelt love can express itself in such a gentle and sophisticated way: by cherishing every little thing, every shared momentβthe sugar figures, the corns, even the days spent apart. These simple things move me to tears, not because they are sad, but because they are so deeply, beautifully full of love.Although the series hasn't been fully updated yet, I don't mind waiting to finish all the episodes. Based on what I've seen so far, their work is outstandingβIβd confidently rate it 10/10 across the board.

A first long go, now showered out in fast pace, we came to an end of something which set nothing less than a new Gold Standard for BL Series. Given my rating system, I must admit, this series crashed rating system of mine. What a run! What is there to say that can give justice to this? To paraphrase the words of Aragorn from Lord of the Rings: A day may come where we see a better BL Series, but it is not this day β and it will hardly be one I can foresee.
First, the daring to go through such a long and complex story of no less that 24 episodes each around 40 minutes is much time to fill, and it wasn't a single minute I felt was uninteresting or anything but breathtaking. It is probably what Lord of the Rings is for Fantasy for Boys Love. In a year blessed with many new great series and a generally huge step up for the BL genre, I have no doubt this will long be remembered as THE series that demonstrated how well BL stories in more than βmere loveβ can be. The many ups and downs of each of the character, the development of both characters and story were all nothing short of breathtaking. A cast entirely perfectly chosen, and I am sure few can doubt that Zi Yu, the actor of Wu Suo Wei demonstrated a range of acting worth any great movie or series production you can imagine, and despite all MCs being very good, he shines over the entire series giving it his imprint and in many ways making it his story. So we can only wish that this series brings to him and all MC actors a well deserved career in the future.
The music scores, the camera use, the many sets and places β all are of equal high quality, convincing and superb. From the side streets where Wu Suo Wei sold his sweets over his mother's family house and garden, the 181s clinic serving as a story hub to the many houses, clubs and landscapes; nothing of this was other than perfect, as was the pacing and change from drama to happiness, back and forth to a nice and well deserved happy ending for everyone who deserved so. I tried to think of the best moments, but the show had so many, I can't pinpoint any. Each meeting, each conversation, each glance and look so subtle to emotional strong scenes of crying and joy, all were in so many variations, it satiated every desire and style.
The one sad thought is as commonly known, that mainland China while bringing forth such great actors and so perfectly a series, does not recognize it, but we from outside China can hope and wish that βRevenged Loveβ will contribute to a change both in the making of BL and maybe in a bit more acceptance of gay people someday, someway. For, as once I read, politics is downstream of culture, and were it not bards of old, the storytellers from times immemorial whose stories shaped minds? Plato once said, those who tell the stories rule the world. And as such I hope it changes hearts and attracts people to watch it, who maybe usually not find BL interesting. At least that is what I wish and this series is a great ambassador for both BL series, for the art of great storytelling and acting, and what Chinese culture can bring forth, if they put their effort into it. Revenged Love will be a game changer, a measure to which all who aspire for great BL series β or even series at large β have to measure themselves with. And while surely the small stories, the short wholesome others have equal place in the BL universe, this was like reading one of a great drama of epochal measure, put into the frame of a Asian-Chinese modern BL story. It is one of these series which after the end leaves the watcher with a longing, and empty place and a great memory. If I could I would change the rating scale just to highlight this series with all aspects. While we don't know what the future holds for actors and crew, I wish their careers find justice in their future as it left us with a great memory of what I regard as nothing but perfect BL story which goes way beyond the boundaries of BL itself. As such my rating is a glowing βmust have seenβ
