My friend successfully pulled me into this series
I still remember clearly the day this series was airing. I saw so many best-cut moments posted on fan pages all over Facebook. At first, I ignored them because I assumed it was just a bromance-themed drama with no real romantic moments. Honestly, I almost skipped it entirely. Then, one day, a friend of mine—who’s a huge fan of Chinese novels—recommended it to me. She didn’t say much, but somehow she piqued my curiosity. So I gave it a shot and watched the first episode. At first, it was a bit complex for me—the language, the terms they used, and the intricate relationships among the characters were hard to grasp.
But soon, I was completely hooked. I couldn’t skip a single moment. I started to understand the hidden meanings, the emotions, and the tragedies woven into the story. Every episode was meaningful and never felt like filler.
Like I said, the first episode was confusing at first. But once you finish the entire series and go back to rewatch that first episode, it hits completely differently. You’ll see everything in a new light.
I usually hate bromance stories—but this one? It’s the first and only one I truly love. And I absolutely recommend it to all of you.

It’s definitely my type
With so many BL series out there now, each bringing something different to the table, I’ve found myself growing a bit weary of the long, dramatic storylines. Recently, I’ve started exploring vertically-filmed short dramas—and this one has been an absolute gem.Simple, soothing, and emotionally uplifting, this series has become a small sanctuary for me after stressful days at work or with family. The story, told beautifully through the two main characters, is easy to follow yet deeply touching. Their innocent, sincere, and quietly powerful love story pulled me in completely.
Watching them made me wish for a relationship like theirs—pure, genuine, and full of warmth. Of course, having someone we like feel the same way back is nothing short of a miracle, so let’s do something pull him back to us… But hey, a little wishful thinking never hurt, right?
No need for more words—this one's a perfect 10/10 for me. Healing, heartfelt, and highly recommended.
Ps: I completed this series, then hurry to write this at 2.00 a.m

I’d wait for each episode like a little kid waiting for a gift from his mom
Set against the backdrop of a complex historical period, this film allows viewers to deeply empathize with the characters, especially in terms of the societal and familial pressures they face. If being gay remains challenging even today, imagine how much more difficult it must have been during that era. Right from the opening scene, the film establishes a heavy, somber mood, allowing the audience to feel the weight of what the characters are about to endure. The cast delivers outstanding performances, each actor bringing rich experience and authenticity to their roles. Every character has their own story and struggles, which makes it hard to truly hate any of them—even when their actions are harsh or painful—because you understand that, in many ways, they had no choice. Watching this series wasn’t something I could do lightly; I had to prepare myself emotionally, knowing I’d be faced with intense psychological moments.
Both mothers in the story are portrayed with complexity and depth. Their greatest fear is seeing their sons looked down upon, and they’re willing to do anything—no matter how cruel it may seem—to protect them. What I took away from this series is the importance of family. In the darkest moments, it's often our families who give us the strength to face life’s toughest challenges.
I give this series a 10/10. I highly recommend it to anyone ready for an emotional and thought-provoking experience.

This is such an insightful series that I am really interested in.
I finished this film a long time ago, but only now do I have the time to write about it.The story takes place in a dark, heavy atmosphere, where the colors of sadness can almost be seen and felt. As for me, I’m not someone with a strong heart who can easily handle these kinds of intense emotions—but this film was an exception. It drew me into a world shaped by an old-fashioned lifestyle, where domestic violence seemed normal. Because of that, the main characters had to grow strong emotionally, and as a viewer, I felt like I had to prepare myself, too, just to keep watching.
From the storyline, I learned that easy challenges don’t teach us much. It’s the harder, more painful experiences that help us grow. If we can overcome them, we learn how to truly value our emotions and relationships. In the film, the characters were separated for many years because of misunderstandings. But behind that distance was something deeper—sacrifice, in silence. How painful. How heartbreaking. And yet, they held on until the very end. When the truth finally came out, they were able to live with more joy and gratitude.
And there’s one small spoiler I have to mention—the final scene, where one of them reads something on a laptop. It’s such a simple moment, but I couldn’t stop crying. I think it was because of the honesty, the innocence—the “green” in their hearts—that still remained, even after all those years.
I have no more words. I absolutely loved this film, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

10/10 for all scoring criteria and 1000/10 for the vibes that I am really interested in
There has always been a quiet, enduring love from Chi Cheng toward Suo Wei—and the only thing that changes is how deeply it grows with each passing day. Only genuine, heartfelt love can express itself in such a gentle and sophisticated way: by cherishing every little thing, every shared moment—the sugar figures, the corns, even the days spent apart. These simple things move me to tears, not because they are sad, but because they are so deeply, beautifully full of love.Although the series hasn't been fully updated yet, I don't mind waiting to finish all the episodes. Based on what I've seen so far, their work is outstanding—I’d confidently rate it 10/10 across the board.
