Though Lu Yun makes it to Ling Yu’s performance just before it ends, he is not able to see clearly and in lieu of giving his judgment score, he suggests giving the vote to the audience. Ling Yu obtains her family’s ancestral property; however, she is now bound by imperial edict to marry Prince Heng Yang. Chen Xiu struggles with gaining her freedom and helping her family, while Prince Chang Yi has stronger suspicions that Master Zhou is a woman.
