Les Belles

This is another series that doesn't take itself too terribly seriously. The ML and FL have a certain chaotic relationship right off the bat. I'm finding it very fun!?
Episode 3 and the formation! Say no more...?

Both are historical, romantic and light-hearted dramas with political intrigue and quite a few good laughs.
Both FLs are young and charming beauties.
MLs are valiant, loyal and initially completely at a loss as to how to deal with enthusiastic and determined FLs.
Second couples in both dramas are a real treat.
Both show sisters' deep devotion to each other.
No toxicity and satisfying endings.

FL in Les Belles is similar to this one. First interactions between the FL and ML are pretty similar too. Les Belles FL is having to also get out a marriage contract and find a new one that is suitable. Both FLs had to grow up on their own, both are over the top and value their reputation. Les Belles is FL is aLao intelligent. Both dramas are lighthearted.

If you enjoyed watching Love in the Desert, you might like Zen Di Ta Qian Jiao Bai Mei. Both romance dramas with Fang Yilun (Alen Fang). The later is a romcom. :-)

Both are female-driven stories with a historical setting in which the FL rises above difficult circumstances, protecting her family, and finding love along the way with the ML with whom she has a bad first encounter.

If you liked A Dream of Splendor, you might enjoy Les Belles. Both dramas feature determined female leads who rely on their wits and feminine wiles to maneuver tricky situations and improve their lot. Both dramas also feature similar themes of female empowerment and social taboos in a restrictive society, albeit each taking a different approach. Les Belles is a light fluffy romance comedy that lightly pokes fun, while A Dream of Splendor had more serious undertones. Both are aesthetically pleasing and features some artisanal craft. Lin Yun also appears in both dramas.

If you enjoyed Perfect Match, you might like Les Belles. Both romance dramas are female centric, entertaining, and revolve around the female lead finding a suitable husband. Les Belles is a fluffy, light-hearted romcom.

Both series are incredibly funny with a wonderful pairing of FL/ML. Both have great supporting casts.
My Uncanny Destiny is a very silly slapstick of a comedy.
Les Belles has a lot of great comedic moments and doesn't take itself too seriously but no slapstick.
In My Uncanny Destiny the FL has excellent comedic chops. She has a snarl/wink/click she does all the time that just cracks me up.
In Les Belles the FL is very funny but more subtly. She does have incredible dimples!
In My Uncanny Destiny the ML is Yan Zi Xian my favorite short drama sexy kissing star. He is so darn funny in this too as the hot and clueless male lead! The ML and FL together are chaotic.
In Les Belle the ML is more of the heroic type but still sort of clueless when it comes to the FL. And the 2 of them together are also chaotic and funny.
In My Uncanny Destiny the cast of characters are all over-the-top weird and funny too. This is definitely NOT a serious drama in any way. Angst free! There are lots of breaking the 4th wall bits and a few times you can tell that the actors broke character and just started laughing for real. It looks like they probably had a ton of fun making this series!
Les Belles has a great cast of characters including 2 other couples that have a great chemistry.
Both series don't take each other seriously, which makes them tons of tun!
