Love it comfort bl series
I like how there is no messy love rival or romance that dragged the whole audience into frustration for long episode. Yes, there is emotion entanglement between 2 male lead but i can understand the reason and luckily it not like stupid misunderstanding / ridiculous emotion ride. It finish just at the right moment. It not boring at all. It felt fresh and out of the usual bl troupe series. I love it about a supermodel is hiding behind a normal college student identity. That was very awesome. The acting is online ✅. The actor for model AE, you done a very good undercover identity. The walk, the eyes, the speech really make me think it was 2 peoples . Love it. Will rewatch again next time. This is the drama that doesn't require me to use my brain, 100% comfort blWas this review helpful to you?
.
It’s a story about a love triangle that takes unexpected turns. Three people become entangled in emotions they can’t control, and just when it seems clear who will end up with whom, everything shifts. The final moments bring a surprising twist that changes the entire dynamic and reveals feelings no one saw coming. You can find more of my reviews on Instagram. :D See my homepage about my Instagram account. Definitely not a regret watch!!
JBL's have been really giving lately. Firstly I really enjoyed the costume designs and the overall aesthetic which I think was portrayed really nicely. The tension was there as we as the viewer obviously knew who Ai actually was.The story telling was also portrayed really nicely. There was a clear flow, and the ultimate climax when Chiaki found out that Enaga was Ai. I also liked how they showed Ai/Enaga's conflicted feelings on wether to tell Chiaki or not who he was.
I also really liked the cinematography and the way the series was filmed especially the night scenes. The casting was also top notch, they embodied the characters really well. Especially Enaga and Ai looking like completely different people. The styling was done really well.
Overall, it's a really good watch that I would definitely recommend. The expectations where met, and it's a mix of tension that can leave you at the edge of your seat. I can assure you'll leave the series smiling.

Very cute!
I liked this series a lot, i really looked foreward to each episode and even watched most episodes several times while i waited for the next one to air. The story was good and both actors did a great job protraying their complex characters. The dynamics an chemistry was also very good. The kiss wasn't great, but it was a good kiss with lots of feeling into it. And since it was Chiaki's first kiss, this was good enough. The visuals were beautiful and the music was very good.
I liked the little clips after some of the were cute.
A real must watch this series.

A pleasant, easy-to-watch BL with a fresh fashion concept
If this show hadn’t just popped up on one of the sites, I probably wouldn’t have bothered with it at all. The love-triangle trope doesn’t interest me in the slightest. I ended up checking out the trailer anyway. I’m really glad I did, and I actually like how they played a little trick on us with the title. The strongest aspect of this BL was building the whole story around alternative fashion. I like how they translated the clothing/design idea into human relationships, and how we only got the full picture in the last two episodes. At first I thought it was just about making connections, but it turned out to be about something much deeper - stitching together things that don’t quite fit, adapting them to new circumstances… exactly like what happened with our main characters’ relationship.
It was interesting to see the reversal at the end: it was the star chasing the ordinary guy, not the other way around. One more shout-out to what’s already been said: the actor absolutely nailed both roles and played them brilliantly. However, it’s pretty unrealistic that Chiaki, who kept stressing how hypnotised he was by “that gaze”, never connected Enaga with AE. They had so many close interactions, yet Enaga’s entire disguise was just a wig and a little hat. I wish they’d gone for some heavier changes. The ending also felt way too rushed. I get that Chiaki was mostly pretending to be angry at Enaga rather than actually being furious, but it still resolved too quickly. And honestly, I never warmed to Chiaki’s facial expressions, they felt exaggerated to me.
Overall, for the concept, the fashion, and the nice soundtrack I’d give it 7, but there’s definitely room for improvement! I think a second season would be awesome - showing them working together in the industry, dealing with rivals, etc.

I AM WOWED
Lately I've been binging quite a lot of JBLs as it wasn't my forte before and I have to say, asides a few, the rest were not cutting it for me. Then Punk's Triangle came out. Note that I'm not a big fan of watching a series mid release as the suspense would kill me so I was very hesitant to touch it but because I was bored and I had downloaded it all (it was at episode 3 then), I decided to give it a go. ONE OF THE BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE!!!! Wow. This series did not disappoint nor bore me for a second. From the tension to the chemistry to the visuals to the art, everything was so damn good. AND THAT'S NOT ALL. So, I was getting antsy and impatient when Friday was taking years to come for the next episode which is why I was quite overjoyed to her that it was an adaptation from a shot manga. I picked up the manga just today (I loved it by the way) and I was pleased to see that unlike other or some adaptation, this JBL actually stuck to the script. Everything in the series was like I was reading right out of the manga. Every detail, even down to how the MC looks utterly different in his second persona was so accurate. And the dude just wore a wig yet he looked totally different. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Just like in the manga!!! I'm so psyched and I totally recommend this series. The MCs are the hot and cute type. I'm totally eating it up.Was this review helpful to you?

Best BL of 2025
I said what I said, and I stand by it!The casting is perfection, the chemistry is insane, the gazes ooze sex, and the kiss was the gentle culmination of what is a great story brilliantly executed.
Even knowing that Enaga and AE are the same person, I've gone back and rewatched the show (6 times so far!) and can still appreciate how hard it could be to distinguish between the 2 - the hair, makeup and costume dept did a really good job.
It's easily my favourite BL of 2025, and has turned out to be one of my favourites of all time.

The storyline is actually so good
Chiaki & Enaga are so freaking cute i want to cry.The difference the characters have when in different situations, and when Enaga "becomes" AE is actually so cute. It shows both their true personalities and their chemistry. The fact that they are both flustered around each other, even when it's Enaga and not AE is genuinely so cute, Chiaki is already in love cmon (Enaga has been down BAD for so long stawp they're so pookies).
Enaga wants to call Chiaki "LOML" so bad i just know OMG THEY'RE MAKING ME GO CRAZY AAHHHHHH

Overpromised but Underdelivered
I remember binging the 1st 3 episodes and coming on here where I wrote a note that said in part, 'Great chemistry, pacing, and tension. Hope they keep it up till the end.' Clearly, I was thoroughly impressed by those episodes; unfortunately, the chemistry, pacing, and tension all but disappeared after that. We got some of that chemistry and tension back for a while in ep 6, but then it disappears again. Then, 2 episodes later, the show ends very anticlimactically.Let's go back to those 1st 3 episodes coz this is where they overpromised - and show the multitudes(?) that are AE/Enaga. As AE, he is the walking, talking definition of debauchery. He's very sexy, not just in how he carries himself, but his face. The man is gorgeous. And also because he parties, drinks, and smokes, something that is foreign to Chiaki. I think AE even mentions at some point that he wants to 'ruin' Chiaki. Ruin that air of innocence that he has (I'm paraphrasing here). However, as Enaga, he's naturally clumsy, very shy around his design idol (who he eventually likes), slouches when he walks, and has this quiet sexiness, more like cuteness, about him.
I was very curious to see how these two sides of him would meld together. Especially when you remember that in ep 3, AE is jealous of himself when Chiaki tells him that he had fun with Enaga on a night out. How far was AE going to push Chiaki? He'd already gotten him to drink, party, and smoke, so... what else was there? Well... Nothing. There was nothing. Because after ep 3 AE basically ghosts Chiaki, and we spend the next episodes bouncing between Chiaki's & Enaga's heads/thoughts and prepping for the fashion show. The chemistry, pacing, and tension that I was very excited about are sacrificed for a series of inner monologues.
I guess you could argue that his realization of his lie (and feelings?) made him step back, but I feel like he sacrificed a part of himself. AE is Enaga and vice versa - two sides of the same coin, two halves of a whole. The side of him that loves partying and is very forward and flirtatious doesn't go away simply because he likes Chiaki. I'd have loved to see that side of him more. I think seeing that constant struggle happening in real time as he interacts with Chiaki would have shown a better light on this tentative IdolxFan relationship and his larger-than-life vs everyday clumsy classmate personas
🤘🏾Aside from that🤘🏾
🧷Music gets a 4 coz I don't like it when shows use the same song over and over again - not including the OST. Can't change that. I mean the songs within the episodes.
🧷If anyone were to twist my arm to rewatch, I'd stick to the 1st 3 episodes
🧷I didn't quite like how Sumiura was portrayed. I never like that wide-eyed, innocent, submissive look UNLESS it plays a part in the characters/relationship dynamic. E.g., underlying tones of a D/S relationship - My Beautiful Man and My Personal Weatherman are great examples of instances where I think this character portrayal works best
All in all, the show let me down, and the story feels unfinished. From what I've seen, the manga only has 1 volume, which would perhaps explain why this story is the way it is. I lowkey wish that those adapting this for TV had worked with the mangaka to expound this story to better fit a well-rounded TV storyline
Side Note:
If Mr. Kim Namjoon, my ult bias randomly showed up infront of me, I doubt I'd go wide-eyed, submissive, and clumsy like Sumiura did. Chances are that I'd run and hide like Soobin did when he met that babe from KARA😅

The “triangle” reflects Chiaki’s inner struggle between chasing his dream (AE) and facing reality (Enaga), while AE/Enaga embody the tension between authenticity and idealized perfection. As Chiaki and Enaga are forced to work together, they slowly build trust and open up to each other, revealing their insecurities and vulnerabilities.
The real charm of the series is definitely the chemistry between Nagano Ryota and Fujibayashi Yasunari, which made it such a fun watch. Their performances are natural, genuine, and convincing. I was instantly won over.

When Manga Meets Meaning: Why Punks Triangle (2025) Truly Works
Punks Triangle (2025) is a BL adaptation that genuinely impressed me—and that says a lot coming from a super fan of manga and Japanese BL adaptations. Having read the manga a year ago, I went into this drama with high expectations and a careful eye, but it delivered in all the right ways. The adaptation respects the original story while bringing its emotions to life with a realism that feels fresh and sincere. The characters are thoughtfully portrayed, and the chemistry translates effortlessly from page to screen. Instead of exaggerating the drama, the series allows the tension and emotional depth to speak for themselves. The pacing is solid, the performances feel authentic, and the overall atmosphere stays true to what made the manga special. As someone deeply invested in manga and Japanese BLs, Punks Triangle stands out as a well-crafted adaptation that understands both its audience and its source material.

Loved it!!! Saw a unique take on idol × fan romance
Ngl i liked enaga more than AE too so we can't blame chiyaki for that🤭🤭. Also i liked that chiyaki liked enaga that is AE's real self and chose him over his idol AE. Usually in idol romance it kinda feels like that person fell for the idol version of them not their real self.. if they were never an idol they'd never fall in love. Here is was different cz he met him as a common clumsy loser guy and still fell for him even when he had chance with his idol... overall it was a fun watch. Found something good after a long time so binge watched it till the end.Was this review helpful to you?
