Like I know this is a 2025 BL and fake kisses are long gone but let's see the bright side here, I've seen a lot of Bls that has steamy kiss scenes but the whole show was shit! No story no chemistry nothing... And tbh if I only want to watch guys making out like that I'd go for soft gay porn, not a Japanese vertical drama.
I'm not saying this is the best BL ever but all I'm saying is if you are not so touchy about the kisses you will enjoy this because this was amazing, it reminds me of cherry magic not that they have anything in common, except maybe the Shy introvert Uke and confident popular Seme (or I believe that's their roles, there is no indication about which is which) but I remember CM had zero kisses yet was one of the best BL Japan ever made.
So this too considering it's a Short VD, it deserves compliments, because it was so funny, I laughed too much, the two guys were extremely handsome, with a killer side profile, and I really enjoyed it, so if you have less than an hour to spare, give it a go ~

Pretty basic
Probably unfair of me to rate it so low as it is a vertical short series of 30 episodes of about 1 minutes and half each...So all the flaws relating to production and budget are pretty much bound to happen with that specific format.But I did find the story pretty basic, the chemistry rather average with awkward scenes...Directing was not there as well, so giving it more does not fit right with me. I did not feel enough of the love and tension between the leads and given how simple the story is, it is a bit of a shame.
It is only about 45 minutes long, so it does not feel like a big loss of time to have watch it and if you are looking for something very resting for the brain, it might be an okay pick but nothing outstanding to talk about.

WHO CAME UP WITH THIS
I finished the show a while ago, but I am just now writing the review. I would give it an 8 out of 10, and then I am going to say what I liked and what I did not like (this review is short becasue there is not a lot to work with).Starting with what I liked, both of the guys are very sexy. I think they are the epitome of Japanese beauty, especially the dark guy; he is low-key hot as fuck. I do not remember his name, so I am going to refer to him as the dark guy and the other guy as the prince guy. The prince guy is also really beautiful. Where did they even find these guys? Because they are sooooo gorgeous. Also, they have really good chemistry, apparently. I could feel it through the screen, even though this show was a little bit questionable. I thought that their chemistry was great, and it really brought this show to life. That is really it for what I liked.
What I did not like was the plot. I do not know what it is with Japanese BL and these bullshit fucking plots, but I swear to God, this plot is terrible. This girl rejects him and says she only dates princes, so he joins a random fucking contest. And this guy randomly appears out of nowhere and suddenly does his makeup for the contest. What are we doing? What's going on? Also, the entirety of the 30 episodes builds up towards this contest. The contest literally lasts three seconds, not even a full episode. It is genuinely three seconds long. He wins, and then the other guy got expelled previously, so he could not even go to the contest. I am so lost. There were also childhood friends, which makes no sense. They should have gone into more detail about that instead of having us wait for 25 episodes. He is like, oh my God, you have a scar on your ear just like my childhood friend. What does that even mean? Also, there is a season 2 that I did watch, but why do we need a season 2 if he is already a prince? That is the whole point of the show. But yeah, just hooting and hollering and pissing me off with this very random plot. Despite this, I still rated it pretty high because their chemistry and acting outweigh the terrible plot.
Would I recommend this? I would say yes. If you just ignore the weird, non-continuous plot and focus on their good chemistry, it is short and enjoyable, so I would say do it. Okay, bye!

fluffy and cute
for a vertical short bl this is good, there is few flaws but i find it entertaining and good.*what i didnt like:
-unfortunately jbls tend to have awkward/bad or fake kisses which sucks, its the case here
-some clichey moments that we see a lot in bls

overall id say the good is more than the bad, i like the mls and the story is also not bad, this show is short but fluffy and cute so i do recommend it for people who want to watch a short cute bl

A good mini JBL
Lol, that was hilariously bad, but hey - I do enjoy a good random watch every once in a whileIt started out as a revenge plot but between the bullies, the childhood connection and the fake relationship, there wasn't much room for revenge lol. It did have some sweet moments, and the acting was not half bad like some of the other mini-séries I've watched so there's that.
I did like the many sequences with makeup, it was just very aesthetically shot, and even for a mini-séries, it was very short and to the point. So overall, it was okay.
